La centralità è il suo forte sicuramente. Casa che si sviluppa su più piani piccoli e stretti. Non è il posto più accogliente che ho trovato nel mio viaggio comunque pulito. Ti segnalano che hanno parcheggio ma attenzione nessun Riad o appartamento o casa all interno della Medina hanno posti auto. Se siete con auto dovete parcheggiate nei parcheggi attorno la Medina. Sono a pagamento (poca roba) e se hai dei bagagli ci sono i trasportatori con i carretti. Ti chiedono delle cifre assurde subito poi con 40 diram te li portano dove vuoi. Non offrono colazione ma c’è una cucina sulla terrazza in alto.

It's a nice traditional house, nothing fancy, our apartment was quite small but appealing even though the windows are small. The communal kitchen and dining area was exceptional - huge windows all round with fantastic views. A refuge with view if it's windy and you can open the windows wide if it's not. That room is on the fourth floor - there are a lot of stairs. There's also a roof area (no furniture up there) with views across the town. The manager was warm and helpful

The kitchen isn't very well stocked. And there are a lot stairs!

Beautiful home in the center of the Medina. Close to everything and very peaceful! The rooftop terrace is very nice and perfect to watch the sunset.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig in der Medina gelegen mit einer wunderbaren Gemeinschaftsküche auf dem Dach. Die 'Betreung' war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Die Unterkunft war sehr gut ausgestattet und besonders sauber. Danke!

Es hat alle Erwartungen übertroffen! Die Menschen dort sind einfach traumhaft gut und bezaubernd. Diese Herzlichkeit, mit der ich empfangen wurde und auch einige Familienmitglieder, die mich mal besucht haben ist fantastisch. Die Zimmer (drei verschiedene) sind jeweils liebevoll eingerichtet, mit vielen ausgewählten Details. Es war etwas kühl im Dezember und ich bekam sofort eine elektrische Heizung. Es ist alles vorhanden im Zimmer bis hin zu Duschgel und Shampoo. Auch ein Kühlschrank. Ausreichend Platz für die persönlichen Dinge. Ganz toll ist in der vierten Etage eine Küche (alles vorhanden bis hin zum Toaster, Sandwichmaker…) mit Sicht über Essaouira aufgrund zwei voll verglaster Seiten. Und on top eine Dachterrasse mit 360* Sicht, Möwen und herrlicher Seeluft, denn man hat einen guten Blick auf den Atlantik. die Lage ist gut in der Medina recht nah an Allem, zum Hafen und damit auch zum Strand sind die Wege recht kurz.

Wir waren im Winter da und es war kalt, der kleine elektrische Heizkörper konnte die Räumlichkeiten nicht erwärmen

Die Lage war perfekt, direkt in der Medina. Die Betten waren sehr bequem. Auch die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit und freundlich.

The staff were very kind.

The noise! Construction right outside the window. I understand construction cannot be helped but this was directly across from the bedroom window. They should not be providing this apartment right now to travelers. I arrived tired and there was absolutely no chance to relax. The mold smell. If you have allergies to mold this is not the place for you. I booked for a longer stay but absolutely could not endure the noise or the allergy issues and had to book somewhere else to have a nice time in Essaouira. They refused to compensate in any way to make this right and were rude and nasty to me when I was nothing but friendly and kind to the staff about the situation.

Beautiful apartment in very convenient location - easy to find too. Welcoming and flexible staff. Breakfast was very good. All the conveniences and privacy of an apartment with breakfast served to you.

Die Lage war in Ordnung

Entsprach überhaupt nicht unseren Erwartungen und Vorstellungen. Wir haben entschieden die Wohnung nach einer Nacht zu wechseln. Eher als eine Jugendherberge geeignet, sorry hat nicht ganz der Beschreibung entsprochen.

Great spot in Medina but hidden from tourists Amazing terrace and easy to find. Also very nice host who walked my mum to the square to meet me one day.

Hilfe mit dem Gepäck bei An- und Abreise in dem engen Treppenhaus); schönes Appartment mit 2 Schlafzimmern und Kühlschrank im Zimmer; leckeres Frühstück mit flexiblen Zeiten entsprechend der eigenen Wünsche; tolle geschützte Dachterasse für das Frühstück mit Gemeinschaftsküche und offene Sonnenterasse; optimale Platzausnutzung (was im Umkehrschluss bedeutet, das es etwas eng ist, besonders das Bad); zentrale Lage in der Medina

Wir wurden herzlichst von von den zwei lieben Damen begrüßt. Uns wurde immer Hilfe angeboten und wir hatten ein leckeres und ausgiebiges Frühstück, mit einer wunderschönen Aussicht auf den Atlantik. Es war eine schöne Zeit. Danke an die zwei Damen. Sie waren so herzlich und wir wollten gar nicht gehen. Es war alles sauber, das Bett bequem und die Zeit sehr schön. Wir empfehlen die Unterkunft sehr!

El anfitrion nos hizo la vivita, nosinvito e, platicamos, nos hizo la etsancia muy linda, La habitacion es enrome! tiene dos salas de estar, un con TV y una solo para estar. IMpecable todo. Muy bien ubicado.

RIEN : Nous avions réservé 4 nuits et avons été déçues dès notre arrivée, ce qui nous a conduit à annuler nos 2 dernières nuitées en raison de la non-conformité des services proposés. Selon l'annonce sur Booking, nous avions réservé un appartement entier comprenant : 2 chambres Deluxe, 2 grands lits doubles, 1 salle de bain, un salon, une cuisine, une terrasse de 42 m², front de mer. En réalité, nous nous sommes retrouvées dans un studio au 1er étage avec 2 chambres certes, mais très petites, une minuscule douche, un coin WC limité, et un évier dans le salon. Les 3 fenêtres donnaient sur des murs de ruelle en travaux. L'espace petit-déjeuner s'est avéré être la cuisine des propriétaires au rez-de-chaussée, sans vue ni charme. L'atmosphère ne nous a pas incitées à nous attarder. Au 4e étage, nous avions accès à une cuisine-salon commune, mais il était difficile d'y préparer ne serait-ce qu'un café. Pour apercevoir la mer à distance (au travers de fenêtres brumeuses), nous devions accéder à une terrasse commune au 5e étage, où nous avons trouvé seulement trois transats peu invitants. De plus, bien qu'il y ait une grande télévision à écran plat avec Netflix, Disney, YouTube, etc., tous ces services étaient payants. Il était impossible de regarder un simple journal télévisé ou un programme habituel, car cela nécessitait un QR code. D'après la description, nous nous attendions à un appartement complet de 42m², avec toutes les commodités au même niveau et une vue sur mer. En tant que personne à mobilité réduite, notamment à cause de problèmes aux genoux, je refuse de payer presque 100 euros par personne/jour pour un séjour qui ne me permet pas d'accéder librement à la terrasse.

Il serait judicieux de revoir la description de cet Airbnb, qui n'est définitivement pas adapté aux personnes à mobilité réduite avec ses cinq étages d'escaliers. Les photos présentées sont certes attrayantes, mais elles ne correspondent pas à la réalité sur place. Le prix demandé est excessif, d'autant plus qu'il est possible de trouver une nuit d'hôtel agréable dans la Médina pour 40 euros maximum, petit-déjeuner inclus. Malheureusement, nous avons été dans l'impossibilité de joindre Booking (par téléphone ou mail) pour annuler les 2 nuits restantes déjà payées. Les propriétaires, quant à eux, ont répondu qu'ils ne pouvaient pas nous aider et que "ce n'était pas leur problème".

Wij waren met 4 personen en hadden een deluxe kamer. Maar je kunt totaal niet zitten in de kamer. Veel te klein zeker wanneer je met 5 personen zou zijn en er iemand in de kamer moet slapen

Great location and wonderful hosts who were helpful and friendly. The beds were extremely comfortable and there was a lovely breakfast room at the top of the building and sun loungers on the roof.

The sitting room area was a bit small but spent most of the time in the breakfast room or out and about

La décoration (attention aux cadres de portes). L'ajout d'un tapis de bain en sortie de douche serait agréable.

Nice and clean and very friendly host. There is a nice terrace on the roof and a shared living room with a kitchen to cook also with a view to hang out in. Location is great down town with lots of parking near by. There are chaps who can cart your luggage through the narrow streets to the apartment.

First off al the owner Aziz it was very friendly, smiley and helpfull. The oroperty is in the middle of medina, typical marocan, colourful, clean, and lot if steps😊

Very friendly hosts, great communication, easy location, nice roof top deck, nice linens. The host brought tea on our arrival and got up at 7 to help us with our bags to the taxi.

The place is smaller than it appears in photos, but I had read that in a review and it wasn't an issue for us.

We had a wonderful stay at Dar Saffron. The rooms were very comfortable and the rooftop terrace was stunning. The staff working there made the stay even better, he allowed us to leave our bags and check in early once the room was ready. He also accompanied us to the bus station early in the morning and assisted with arranging transport. Great hospitality.

Hosts were fantastic, they greeted us, helped us with the washing machine, and even offered us traditional tea and pastries. The location is also good - it is a small and calm street in Medina. The shared rooftop terrace and kitchen area were beautiful and atmospheric. The apartment is on the smaller side, but it had everything we needed. It was clean and neat.

The stairs are steep and narrow, but we expected that for old buildings. The window view is to the street, but around there are mostly abandoned construction sites.

The hosts were lovely, friendly, and highly professional. The apartment was spacious, spotless, and beautifully decorated, with comfortable beds. We especially loved the rooftop terrace with a stunning view, and the well-equipped kitchen on the top floor. The location is perfect, situated on a quiet street. Highly recommend this place!

Host was friendly and accommodating.

It was freezing with no heating. We asked for a radiator and was declined, even under the blankets it was freezing. The accommodation had rubble and bricks in the way of the path and near the entrance.
