Loved this little cabin. So cozy and comfortable.

Everything. Presents great value on the island especially if you’re walking the trail. The owner and his family could not of been more helpful.

Enkelt och fräscht boende med en trevlig och hjälpsam värd.

Det var en jättemysig stuga. Det mesta fanns och det som vi saknade tog vi upp med honom, som han skulle köpa hem. Jättesköna sängar. Fanns en utedusch, var en mysig upplevelse. De bodde en bit upp så man var inte på varandra.

Det var smutsigt på golvet när vi kom och vissa husgeråd var smutsiga. När vi nämnde detta så tog Per inte illa upp, så han erbjöd sig att dammsuga när vi skulle lämna stugan en sväng, och fick kompensation för detta genom att få låna cyklar.

Beautiful, calm place. Everything that you need is in place. Super nice owners. I had a great time, and definitely will come back.

Benita and Per were impeccable hosts. They were very responsive throughout our stay, providing us with many recommendations on things to do, places to visit, where to eat, as well as tips on beautiful secluded sites away from the tourist masses. The hosts have also been generous on borrowing their bikes to go around the island a couple times. The place is perfect for a simple countryside getaway in two. It’s located within walking distance various sites, restaurants, supermarket, boat station etc. It is very clean, with all the necessary amenities. The shower facility nearby is modern, Clean and easy to access. The island itself is a typical island in the Swedish archipelago, with various pine trees, berry bushes, moss, lichens, deers, lizards, marine birds etc. and the Islanders being good stewards for this.

As with many rural areas in Sweden, you need to exercise a bit of caution when travelling as a non white (i.e. BIPOC). Although most Swedes embrace Allemansrätten as a practice, and many didn’t mind letting us enjoy the nature on their land, there are those that react particularly aggressive to non white trespassers, unwilling to calm down angry dogs until you leave their premises.”
