Le cadre est superbe, la maison est magnifique l'accueil est chaleureux, la cuisine est très bonne. La plage est à 100m. Les nombreux animaux ont fait le bonheur des enfants, y compris les caïmans dans l'étang à proximité!

Les chambres sont un peu sommaires. Coupures d'electricité régulières mais qui ne sont pas du fait de l'hôtel. Nous n'avons pas pu nous baigner car la mer était trop agitée. Il serait bien de prévenir de la présence de chiens qui aboient, car l'arrivée à pied n'était pas très agréable pour les enfants.

Das Personal war sehr nett und bemüht. Sie haben sich viel erkundigt und uns geholfen! Die Unterkunft liegt direkt am Meer.

Die Matratzen waren steinhart und das Klima insgesamt feucht, wodurch es modrig roch. Daran konnte auch die Klimaanlage nichts ändern, die einem direkt ins Gesicht geblasen hat, wenn man sich auf dem Bett befand.

Difícil el camino de entrada en auto en la noche

Het ontbijt en avondeten was goed en vers. Onze kamer was niet groot, maar netjes en schoon. Er ligt een prachtige, diepe tuin die uitkomt op het strand, daar kun je wandelen en heb je een mooi uitzicht naar de bergen. Wanneer je iets wil gaan doen dan helpen de mensen van de Hostal je met het regelen ervan, ook vervoer e.d.

De eigenaren van deze hostal houden veel van honden en katten die daar rondlopen. De dieren zijn vriendelijk maar de honden blaffen soms laat in de avond naast je hotelkamer. Niet de hele nacht, maar niet fijn wanneer je al slaapt.

Die Lage ist direkt am Meer, sehr ruhig und gemütlich. Das Personal ist unschlagbar freundlich und zuvorkommend. Man hört keine Störgeräusche von der Straße, Hähne oder anderes. Nur die Falken und Pfaue sind zu hören. Es war wunderschön den abend am Strand mit Meeresrauschen ausklingen zu lassen.

Leider ist zweimal der Strom ausgefallen, was nicht in der Macht des Hotels lag. Allerdings gab es dadurch auch kein Wasser mehr. Das ist nicht gut in einem solchen Hotel. Ebenso hatte mein Partner Meeresfrüchte im Restaurant gegessen, was ihm nicht gut tat. Das Hotel hat uns freundlicherweise den Preis für das Gericht erstattet.

Unfassbar nette Leute. Überall Tiere , Eichhörnchen, Pfauen. Es ist verzaubert hier. Den Strand hat man meistens ganz für sich . Es ist viel schöner als die Fotos zeigen!

The area was very remote and quiet. The only negative aspects were out of the control of the hotel. The staff were very kind and attentive! I would stay here again!

Beautiful finca with beautiful beach and sound of animals. The staff were lovely and helped us arrange a 4am car to the airport at the last minute and prepared breakfast package for us. We’d happily return!

La ubicación es perfecta, el lugar es muy lindo, el personal cálido, amable y diligente.

El mantenimiento de la habitación puede ser mejor, el techo tiene laminas rotas. El bizcocho del sanitario estaba en muy mal estado y se veía desagradable.

Es un lugar muy bien cuidado, limpio. Muy cerca de la playa. Paisajes espectaculares. Muy buena comida.

Playa Mareygua was really well located for the purpose of our trip. The surroundings are beautiful and it’s beachfront. Our room had hot water and AC. The breakfast was also very nice. Although the service can be very slow, the staff were friendly and helped us get transportation to our next stop.

The service (check-in and food-related) could be more efficient.

Hele fijne accommodatie met eigen stoeltjes op het terras voor de kamer. Gratis hangmatten op het strand die bij het hotel hoort.

In de avond, gedurende de nacht en nog eens in de ochtend viel de stroom uit. Kan gebeuren maar dan was er ook geen water en dat was minder.

La gente es maravillosa, es un buen sitio para descansar en la naturaleza. La cama un poco dura para mi gusto. Es un ambiente muy familiar y la comida está buenísima. Un poco caro pero Tayrona es así.

Las habitaciones son comodísimas, siempre limpias y libres de mosquitos. El alojamiento tiene acceso directo a la playa, no hay ruido por las noches, la comida es deliciosa (las dos cocineras son increíbles) y tienen todo tipo de bebidas. Todo el personal es muy amable, pero queremos destacar especialmente a Carolina: su dedicación, amabilidad y atención hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera simplemente excepcional. No solo nos ayudó en todo momento, sino que convirtió nuestra visita en una experiencia inolvidable. Gracias a ella, Playa Mareygua se siente como un lugar muy especial. Lo recomendamos sin dudar a todo el mundo.

No hubo nada que no nos gustase, todo perfecto

La ubicación del hotel es excelente, directamente con salida a playa. Las instalaciones impecables, en especial las habitaciones, súper limpias y herméticas para evitar la entrada de bichitos. El personal, siempre amable y dispuesto a ayudarte en lo que necesites. La comida, espectacular, con restaurante abierto todo el día hasta las 8pm. Recomendadísimo, de los mejores sitios en los que estuvimos en Colombia.

Lo único que podría faltar es una piscina, jacuzzi, o algún punto de agua alternativo al mar, ya que éste veces está un poco ''picado'' y dificulta el baño.

La tranquilidad de la playa, cuidan muy bien sus mascotas, la atención.

This place is an absolute HIDDEN GEM for the budget traveler or "resort resistant" beach bum! Located on a quiet stretch of beach between Tayrona Park and the town of Buritaca, and neighboring three other small (but fancier) hotels, this place had everything we wanted and nothing we didn't (except a pool, but the other hotels would allow us to use theirs if we ordered food and drinks while we were there) . Nestled in a tropical paradise. Uncrowded and unpretentious. Often, we were the only people at the beach. Beautiful sunsets. There is a spa hut on the beach where you can get a massage (have to arrange with reception ahead of time) while listening to the waves crash and a shaded hammock area nearby for you to melt into when your massage is done. There are hikes, river floats, horserides, and surfing lessons available nearby to connect with, too. Our room was clean, had air conditioning, and an ensuite bathroom. Food and drinks were delicious (awesome ceviche and breakfast was free!) and notably cheaper than at the neighboring hotels (which you can easily walk to via the beach). Just a note for the ones who live to swim in the ocean, while we were there, the waves were too aggressive for hanging out in for longer than a few minutes and we warned to look for signs of a rip tide before going in. It's a great beach for sunbathing and surfing, though! (There is a spot for small plunge pool by the massage hut, but there was no pool there during our stay. )

The host is amazing. She really helped us with literally everything and went above and beyond. She arrange transport, boat trips for us and also recommended restaurants - both of which were AMAZING. She is really friendly and welcoming.

The room could have been a bit cleaner and the shower isn't great (lower pressure/bad shower head in one of the rooms, the other was fine) - I learnt afterwards that there is not mains water so that may be why so can't fault it, just a point of note.

Service was great. We were really looked after the second we arrived till we left. The room was neat and tidy and the Air con worked great to keep the hot weather at bay! Food was very good and the portion sizes are generous, so be prepared to share. Remember to try their fresh juices if you come here - they were incredible too!

The hammocks were taken up pretty quickly on busy days so maybe a few loungers for lazing on the beach would be great. I wasn't able to receive WiFi signal in my room which meant I had to go to the canteen when I needed to check my mails, so maybe a simple booster would do the trick to the living quarters and possibly out to the beach area too.

The hostel was empty, we were the only guests at the hostel. The worst part is that there is nothing around and we had no place to escape, especially at night time. The crew were nice but no one spoke english. Price was too expensive. Would recommend not to go there, one of the most depressing nights we have had in Colombia.

The description said restaurant and bar on site There was neither. When we got there the first night they said they was no dinner and we would have to go to a different hotel to get food. They did have beers for sale in a cold case but there was not a bar. We did get breakfast both mornings for $12,500 but there were not any choices available. They also did not have any beach chairs to lay out on. Luckily we went in off season so it was not very busy anywhere. We were able to walk along the beach and find other chairs to use and restaurants to eat at. I would recommend finding another reasonably priced hotel to stay at that actually has amenities.
