Very clean and comfortable. I loved the fact that I could get myself some cereal and fruit for breakfast before hitting the road early. Matthew was great to deal with.

Last minute reservation but warm welcome, an upgrade, a pool available for play and of course the famous donkeys to be able to feed in the morning, after a hearty breakfast.

Wonderful hosts, great breakfast, great location. Bonus was the ability to meet, feed the donkeys out back!

Matthew was an amazing host. He gave us great tips for the area, made us a delicious breakfast, and even took us out to meet the resident donkeys!

Les hôtes sont adorables et nous ont très accueillis. L'établissement est situé au calme, les chambres sont confortables, très propres. Nous y avons passé une très belle nuit.

Location was ideal for our needs, and room had all the facilities we needed. Host was chatty and pleasant.

Rooms could do with being updated and modernized, but we were aware of what we were booking, and the room was clean and comfortable and suited our needs for a single night.

La literie

Nous n'avons pas pu prendre de douche car ça ne fonctionnait pas lorsque nous avons voulu la prendre. Et au pdj nous avons discuté avec des dames qui nous ont dit qu'il fallait tirer sur une ficelle de l'autre côté de la baignoire au plafond, le propriétaire leur avait expliqué (jamais vu ce système dans le monde) pour avoir de l'eau...le propriétaire ne nous avait rien expliqué à notre arrivée donc pas de douche pour nous .... Le chauffage se coupe la nuit donc il fait froid. Les toilettes s'évacuent mal, obliger de tirer la chasse plusieurs fois.

L'amfitrió va ser molt agradable, tant quan vam arribar (bastant tard a la nit), com al matí (fent l'esmorzar). Els vam veure poc. L'establiment en general estava prou net, tot i que a la nostra paperera hi havia una bosseta de te dels hostes anteriors. L'esmorzar tenia varietat (diferents llets -totes de vaca-, sucs, iogurts, cereals, pa, mantega, mel i mermelada, etc). A més a més, la nit anterior et pregunten si voldràs un esmorzar calent estil Irish.

El lavabo era comú, n'hi ha dos, però només un amb dutxa. Com que les fotos de l'habitació inclouen un lavabo, és fàcil saltar-te aquesta informació. A l'allotjament hi ha un billar, amb un cartellet que no es jugui a partir de les 10:30. Durant la nostra estada, hi havia un grup que va fer-lo servir al vespre i abans d'esmorzar. Tot i que estigués dins de les hores permeses, i tot i ser l'habitació més lluny, ens molestava bastant el soroll. Potser caldria regular les hores al matí també.

It is a very nice property. Host is friendly and helpful. It is outside the town of Cashel but walkable. The Rock of Cashel is a sight to behold! Cashel and ramparts area is beautiful.

If you have luggage a car is needed to get to this accommodation. Taxi's would need to be called prior to your arrival as they are not readily available. Public transit is available in town only but can be infrequent.

It was such a lovely place! The breakfast and company were also wonderful. And I got to feed the donkeys!!

The location was near the town of Cashel which was fine. The room and beds were clean.

Our check-in was disastrous as no one there to meet us & the lock box wasn't explained. The proprietor came briefly and then left & we in fact let two other clients into the house. The house was musty and hadn't been renovated since the 1970's. The breakfast table was a clutter of things, and the breakfast itself was terrible. We wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

We wanted to experience staying on a B&B. The breakfast was amazing.

Bathroom is outside the room, it is an old house that could use a little maintenance, the bed was okay for one night but not too comfortable. When we arrived at 8 30 pm on a friday we were told not to make any noise because everyone was already asleep. Bear in mind that sunset is past 10 pm. So we felt like strangers overstaying our welcome.

L'hôte Matthew est serviable, prévenant et sympathique. Nous avons apprécié discuter avec lui. Petit-déjeuner satisfaisant. Chambre et salle de bain propres. Emplacement à proximité des commodités. Chambre avec vue sur le pré des ânes.

Matthew is a very friendly and helpful host. The room was clean and had a new carpet in it.

We had the room with two single beds. Unfortunately the mattresses were not in the best condition and the bathroom was very small and not perfectly clean.

Einfach aber gut! Netter Empfang, gutes Frühstück und die Esel im Garten sind toll! Rock of Cashel gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

exceptional time and care taken by Matthew to ensure we were well equipped to make the most of our time here. He provided excellent information both verbally and via links to our phone to help with our researching family history. Both Matthew and his mother Mary were caring and friendly creating a family atmosphere. We extended our stay beyond our initial plans because of the warmth and care extended to us. Highly recommended

Really cosy place to stay perfectly quiet to get my work/admin done too. Price was great for 3 nights Location was good and the view from my room was lovely I could see the donkeys grazing in the field 😄 Mathew and his mother were wonderful hosts super friendly and helpful I felt very welcome. Shower and all amenities working perfect the bed was very comfortable and fresh. breakfast was nice and filling and it was nice to chat in the dining room too. I would like to come back next time I’m in for work again

We liked the fact that it had a pool table, which most others don't have. Great addition. Location close to the town also great. Liked the way there was a room off the property as it's more private. Mathew and family were more than welcoming lovely people.

Not to be rude but the kitchen could do with some new cutlery eg, knifes, forks, glasses ect and upgraded showers 🙂 other than that everything was perfect

Close to town and quiet.

The bathroom was dirty. The decor uncomfortably outdated.

The hosts, Matthew and Mary, were wonderful, super helpful and accommodating. Really, they went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and comfortable! The location is absolutely lovely, with easy parking on the property and a short quiet walk to town. A traditional Irish fryer breakfast was tasty and filling, an excellent way to start the day. Tea and fruit were readily available in the dining room around the clock:)

It’s an older property, so if you’re are expecting something fancy, you’re in the wrong place. However, the sheets and towels were fresh and clean and it was a good value for the money.
