Foresters Inn Cottage

Beds were very comfortable. Area was quiet. The modern utility room was great although we didnt have much use for it (would be great in wet weather though). The kitchen was very well stocked, we found everything we needed and we cooked most nights. The location was just perfect for cycling. A short walk to hire bikes, and located next to the track to the cycle centre, plus secure storage for bikes! Netflix was handy to have for films in the evening. Would definitely come back!

My partner is tall and didnt like the wooden bed frame, but that's a common problem for him when we go away! Having a downstairs bathroom is a bit of a pain if you're not used to it.

Excellent location for biking. My son and his friend were able to access the Forest of Dean park/trails straight from the house. Cottage is small and cosy and has everything you need, including bike storage and drying room/laundry for storing all your outdoor gear.

Location was perfect for us. Cottage cosy and comfortable. Kitchen had everything we needed and the extra fridge/freezer provided in outside room with washing machine and dryer would be very useful.

Problem with the electric shower. This was sorted out soon after we arrived but we never succeeded in using it again. Water ran very hot but then turned quickly to cold. We didn't raise this with Richard again as we were there only a few days. The stairs in the cottage were difficult for two members of the party but we managed by being very careful.

Self Catering. Location excellent - third visit to this property.
