Tamahuche Hotel Rural

A relaxing and peaceful little place in a small town, with a great view - perfect after a full day of hiking around the island. I spent two weekends here in the summer, relaxing with a drink on the terrace and enjoying the view. There is a warm family atmosphere, and the comfortable, authentic rooms are just a few steps away from the restaurant. The hotel has the charm of an old Canarian house. A good breakfast and fresh coffee were a great way to start the day. The photos match reality. There is also a renovated communal swimming pool area by the ocean, five minutes away by car. Supermarket nearby. For us, it was great value for money. We will return.

Отсутствие WiFi, в номере было сыро и душно, завтрак не плохой, но повсюду мухи, которые садились на еду. Жареные яйца в итоге ты ешь холодными, потому что отсутствует подогрев еды.

A lovely family run the place.. Always friendly and helpful. Fabulous high wooden ceiling and big windows. Easy to walk into town but also great having the option to eat there. Very good location to explore the north est of yhe island and the national park.

The streets to get to it seemed very narrow to me but are the norm for the island. The wifi was not really reachable from my room but I had 4G and a good data package.

La terraza devant l'habitacio molt maca,un raco de relax amb vistes al poble,la noia del bar molt agradable,l'esmorçar molt be,un buffet petit pero no faltava res,suficient i a la terrassa molt agradable.

El carrer de devant tot amb obres,tot i que ells no tenen culpa,vam entrar per totes les obres i em va decepcionar bastant,tot i que cuan estas adalt no les veus,el noi que ens va atendre a l'arribada tambe podria ser una mica mes agradable,a l'atencio al public una mica mes de relacions publiques si us plau.

La atención, la comodidad de las instalaciones, lo bonito que era todo.

No es no me gustó, pero si las habitaciones hubiera tenido aire acondicionado, hubiera dormido mejor.

Es un hotel sencillo, con unas bonitas zonas ajardinadas. Tranquilo, limpio y un gran desayuno que se disfruta mucho en la terraza. Personal amable. La localización de Vallehermoso es bastante buena para tener equidistantes los principales puntos de interés de la isla

A tener en cuenta: no hay ascensor y no hacen la habitación todos los días. El aparcamiento puede requerir un pequeño paseíto

El desayuno estuvo muy bueno ,cenar también cenamos en el restaurante del propio hotel y la cena estaba buenísima ,un cocinero 10

La cisterna estaba suelta ( los tornillos que anclan al suelo) al sentarte se movía mucho .

Es ist eine sehr schönes kleines Hotel in ruhiger Lage. Zimmer sehr geräumig, ansprechend und Sauber. Frühstück war ausreichend und gut. Die Gastgeber sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit und gehen auf die Wünsche der Gäste ein. Das Abendessen im Restaurant war sehr Lecker. Der Aufenthalt war sehr Angenehm und wir haben uns wohlgefühlt! Vom Hotel aus ist der kleine Ort gut zufuss erreichbar und eine Bushaltestelle fast vor der Tür.

Das Zimmer war sehr hellhörig. Aber ab 22h ist alles ruhig! Wir hatten Glück und waren die ersten 3 Tage die einzigen Gäste!

Es ein schön restauriertes Haus und der alte (ruale) Stil wurde erhalten. Sehr großes Zimmer mit einem tollen Ausblick auf die Berge. Unser Hund hat sich auch sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Betreiberpaar ist sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es gab ein gutes Frühstück.

The hotel was perfect. The host was really friendly. They did not get the booking confirmation from booking.com, but they were prompt to help us and to gave us a room (we were lucky that they had available room). The breakfast was standard but tasty and fresh. The location and the view was amazing with the mountains.

Hôtel à l'ancienne avec un certain charme désuet qui nous ramène à une époque révolue. Malgré un accueil assez austère, les échanges étaient très cordiaux. Grande chambre sombre meublée à minima, manque de certains mobilier notamment pour poser les valises, fenêtre d'un autre âge qui ferme mal et laissant passer l'air, volets qui ont du mal à rester fermer avec le vent...(un mini frigo posé à même le sol....donc se mettre à quatre pattes pour l'ouvrir..)...idem pour la salle de bain un peu étriquée mais propre malgré une robinetterie d'un autre âge avec un débit d'eau défaillant.. De préférence, demandez une chambre au 2eme étage, car celles du 1er étage ce trouvent au dessus de la salle restaurant et des cuisines avec toutes les nuisances qui en découlent (odeurs et bruits) et le personnel qui discute bruyamment et tardivement. Nous sommes restés 2 nuits et la chambre n'a pas été faite...Les extérieurs sont réalisés avec une certaine harmonie, mais le jardin d'agrément manque vraiment d'entretien (peut être suite à la dernière tempête du mois de Mars) Restaurant sur place correct, idem pour le petit déjeuner avec un bon choix de sucré salé (sauf pour le jus de fruits qui manquait de fraîcheur) avec en plus le sourire et la gentillesse de la jeune dame qui s'occupait du service.Le parking privé est un plus mais peu de place. Attention l'hôtel est situé sur une route très passante, donc bruyante, d'autant qu'actuellement il y a à proximité un important chantier routier en cours qui devrait encore durer un certain temps. Cet hôtel familial semble être en mode survie car il a peut de touristes en cette période, et le village de Vallehermoso n'a pas beaucoup de charme.

Sehr schönes, alt ehrwürdiges Hotelzimmer mit hoher Decke. Sehr gutes Restaurant mit schöner Atmosphäre. Das Frühstück ist außergewöhnlich gut und sehr reichhaltig.

Es gibt nur Einzelbetten obwohl man auf Booking.com auch französisches Bett auswählen kann. Abends relativ laut vom Restaurant oder von der Straße.

Le personnel est très gentil et serviable. L’emplacement est très bien pour effectuer des randonnées dans cette région. Nous avons testé le dîner : on mange très bien et les portions sont très copieuses. Jolies terrasses pour se reposer après une belle journée. Bon petit déjeuner.

De notre côté rien, mais il faut signaler que l’insonorisation des chambres est moyenne et la tranquillité des lieux dépendra de vos voisins.

El alojamiento cumplió totalmente nuestras expectativas en todos los aspectos: ubicación, servicio, confort, desayuno, cena y habitación. A pesar de estar completo, el equipo se esforzó en ofrecer el mejor trato posible en todo momento. Sin duda, repetiré y lo recomendaría.

Estamos muy agradecidas de haber escogido este lugar para alojarnos nuestra última noche en la gomera. No solo hemos recibido un alojamiento digno y equipado, con instalaciones limpias y ordenadas sino que además queremos dar un especial agradecimiento al personal por haber sido las personas más acogedoras y amables con nosotras en todo momento. Nos llevamos un recuerdo precioso de la isla y de Casa Rural Tamahuche y de su increíble buffet y cocinero!! Pd. Sheyla se quedó con ganas de daros un abrazo también Pd. 2. Tenéis una casa en Barcelona y en Galicia para cuando queráis ir.

Everything. Location, view, the property, comfy bed and sheets. There was a little dolce gusto coffee machine complete with pods, sugar and free drinking water. Breakfast was fantastic (proper fried eggs, crispy on the outside, runny yolks - and cooked in Olive Oil. I even mentioned to my partner that palm honey would probably go really with the queso fresco - and the lovely hostess brought some over before I even thought to ask)

Everything is wonderful - it is an old building so bear in mind sound travels and the floor boards squeak. Nothing negative to say - I highly recommend

Os quartos 1 e 2 são por cima do restaurante e ao lado de um pátio comum. Havia um pouco de ruído do restaurante o dos turistas nas mesas do pátio….

Wenn ich null Sterne vergeben könnte, würde ich dies tun. Das Ort liegt im nirgendwo und hat nichts zu bieten. Parkmöglichkeiten sind nur sehr begrenzt zur Verfügung. Das Abendessen war eine Katastrophe, total überwürzt und das Fleisch ein einziges Fettstück. Das Frühstück ist sehr einfach und einfallslos gehalten, jeden Morgen dasselbe „Buffet“, falls man dies so betiteln möchte. Die Zimmer und das Bad sind heruntergekommen, es stinkt widerlich nach Kanalisation. Eine Konvention mit dem Personal war nicht möglich, da das Personal kein Englisch spricht. Auf Emails mit Nachfragen unsererseits wurde entweder nur unvollständig oder gar nicht geantwortet. Ich würde jedem abraten, hier ein

The location is great, looking up the valley. The restaurant in the evening was very nice food, and the staff were all lovely.

Breakfast was quite limited, although fresh eggs cooked to order were very nice.

Thanks for a wonderful stay in your hotel. The location is just beautiful and very central. We stayed 5 nights and every morning we were excited to come down to breakfast. The staff (lovely lady from Cuba originally) was amazing and very helpful. The breakfast was every morning tasty and the coffees delicious. The rooms are spacious and we were very impressed. Unfortunately the weather wasn't very good. It was cold and windy. So we were quite limited with the walks we wanted to do right from the house starting. We had a hire car and drove to the South Coast Playa Santiago instead for sunshine and beautiful walkis there.

Only one thing, you could hear the neighbours as it's an old hotel. But that's a minor issue compared to our beautiful experience.

Breakfast was good but maybe could benefit from a self service coffee machine as there was only one person serving.

Gutes Frühstück. Schöne warme Dusche zum Aufwärmen.

Leider kein einziger Haken im Zimmer, an den man mal die nassen Jacken hängen könnte. Mülleimer haben wir nach dem dritten Tag dann selbst geleert.

De locatie. Zag er mooi uit. Mooie tuin en terras. Iedereen eigen terrasje bij de kamer. Vriendelijk personeel.

Restaurant. Eten fantasieloos en niet lekker. Badkamer erg gedateerd. Prijs-kwaliteit niet goed. Te duur voor te weinig comfort.

It was quite windy when I was there so windows rattled a lot through the night it wasn't a big issue for me after all it's a rustic rural hotel.

Die Lage und Aussicht sind wunderbar. Auch das Essen und das kleine familiäre Restaurant ist fein. Der Koch hat uns sogar abends etwas zum Snacken gebracht. Der Garten ist idyllisch, und überall ist schön bepflanzt, es war aber zu windig, um sich länger draussen aufzuhalten.

Die Zimmer sind dunkel, kaum Fenster, einfach eingerichtet, jedoch sauber. Die Dusche war alt. Es war völlig ok, simpel.

It’s an attractive property and the interior design is traditional with very good quality furniture, fittings and bed linen. We loved our balcony in the 4 person apartment.

Very friendly and helpful staff who worked hard to solve a small problem we had. We really enjoyed our breakfasts and a supper on the terrace. Loved our room on the top level. Also a nice shaded area to sit in too. The hotel is in an easily accessible location in town.
