Roman is an exceptional host, very careful and balanced man with refined passions and therefore an exceptional dialogue partner. I won an extremely high value experience and a friend. This is way more important than any other things.

Very friendly and helpful host. Good breakfast. Short walk distance to ski lift and Mayrhofen center. No need to use ski bus if equipment is stored in the depot next to Penken gondola lift.

The host, Roman, was lovely, welcoming, friendly and went above and beyond to make my stay great. Each morning I was greeted with a lovely breakfast that kept me going until lunchtime and as I was on my own, I enjoyed chatting to Roman to hear about the area and for recommendations of attractions for after skiing. He even helped me out when we missed the gondola lockers close time on the mountain by helping me get my equipment to and from the town that day/next morning - always on hand to help! Location is walkable to the gondola in about 15 minutes, we had our skis and equipment with Bunzl in their lockers at the top of the gondola. If you had gear with you, the ski bus is about 1 minute walk from the property so that's a good option too.

Ligging: zeer goed(12min wandelen van Penkenbahn-en centrum), voortreffelijk ontbijt, proper, authentiek. Maar vooral de gastheer! Roman wil alle wensen van de gasten inwilligen en doet dit ook.

Sehr gute Lage in Mayrhofen, OT Dorf-Haus zu Fuß wenige Minuten zu den Bergbahnen und SkibusHaltestelle wenige Meter. Gute, saubere helle Zimmer , sehr netter Empfang und gute Ausstattung der Wohnung

Wir hatten einen sehr schönen Aufenthalt in dieser Pension – es war rundum sehr gut! Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und reichlich, es hat wirklich an nichts gefehlt. Die Zimmer sind zwar eher rudimentär ausgestattet, dafür aber extrem sauber und gepflegt. Das Ambiente der gesamten Pension ist angenehm und einladend. Besonders hervorheben möchten wir den Hausherrn Roman und seine Frau: Beide sind außergewöhnlich nett, herzlich und zuvorkommend. Unsere Wünsche wurden uns sprichwörtlich von den Lippen abgelesen, der Service war einfach überragend. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt und kommen gerne wieder!

Selten haben wir so tolle Gastgeber erlebt. Mit viel Herzlichkeit, Wärme und Aufmerksamkeit wurde unser Aufenthalt zu etwas ganz Besonderem. Man spürt sofort, dass hier mit Herz Gastgebersein gelebt wird. Wir kommen gerne wieder!

Es war mir eine Freude bei Herrn Griesmann unter zu kommen. Ich wurde sehr herzlich von ihm empfangen und habe mich sehr wohlgefühlt. Herr Griesmanns Gastfreundschaft war außergewöhnlich und die Unterkunft war makellos sauber und gut ausgestattet. Ich kann diese wärmstens empfehlen. Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis ist auch super.

Es war ausnahmslos eine der besten Unterkünfte in denen ich je wahr. Der Gastgeber war äußerst freundlich, hilfsbereit und zuvorkommend. Man hat hier alles was man braucht. Das Bett war sehr bequem und das Zimmer sehr schön. Das Beste war die wirklich angenehme Ruhe und das leckere Frühstücke. Auch auf vegane Wünsche wurde eingegangen. Top! Ein super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis.

Es hat alles gepasst und gibt nichts zu bemängeln.

Die Begrüßung war außergewöhnlich herzlich und natürlich freundlich nicht aufgesetzt. Fühlte mich so sehr willkommen. Tolles Frühstück lässt keine Wünsche offen Absolute Ruhe im Haus . Zimmer komfortabel und sauber Komme sicher wieder.

Kann nichts bemängeln,im Gegenteil

Tolles Frühstück, vorallem auch die selbstgemachten Marmeladen. Außerdem ein sehr herzlicher Gastgeber, der versucht seinem Gast den bestmöglichen Aufenthalt zu bieten.

Super Ferienwohnung. Sehr sauber und von der Lage her unbezahlbar. 👍Unser Vermieter war sehr zuvorkommend. Einfach ein Schatz der Roman. 😉Wir kommen definitiv wieder.

Amazing place to stay. The bed was very comfortable, big room and very clean. The hospitality was the best I’ve ever had, Roman made me feel like I was part of his family and after my stay I would call him a friend. He made sure I was always happy, I enjoyed my breakfast and assisted with any additional needs I had - like washing my clothes. I would come back every year if I could. Simply amazing.

De gastvrijheid, heerlijk appartement, persoonlijke benadering. Heel veel zorg voor behoud van charme vh huis. Prima locatie. De gastheer heeft er werkelijk alles aan gedaan om ons verblijf prettig te maken. Hij weet veel over de omgeving en staat altijd voor je klaar om te helpen. Dankjewel voor de fijne dagen!

We werden vriendelijk ontvangen door Roman die ons meteen de kamer liet zien.

Schon der Empfang war sehr herzlich. Die Zimmer waren sauber, das Frühstück war außergewöhnlich gut und an Vielfalt nicht zu überbieten. Bei gutem Wetter wurde draußen gefrühstückt und Extrawünsche immer erfüllt. Die Lage ist sehr gut, am Ortsrand, mit Blick auf Wiese, Wald und Berge. Aber auch die Bergbahnen, Supermarkt und Restaurants sind nicht weit entfernt. Sehr gute Busanbindung. Es gab auch viele gute Wandertipps. Wanderungen sind direkt ab Haus möglich. Für uns war es eine sehr schöne Woche mit Super Gastgebern. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Urlaub.

The host is a very nice person, it was pleasure chatting with him over breakfast. The breakfast is great. It includes a lot of local products: Dairy, cheese, sausages, jam, etc. There are cats in the house! The place is very close to a bus stop and a store and within walking distance of one of the cable cars.

The guest house is quite far from the town center or train station. You'll need a bus to get there. Or you'll have to like walking.

Outstanding accomodation. Very friendly and accommodating host, great location and comfortable apartment.

Our group had an amazing time here, the owner was one of the most caring and friendly person I have ever met and really made you feel as welcomed as possible.The rooms were all clean and we could not fault a single thing. Only a 10 minute walk to the ski lifts too. I would definitely stay here again in my next trip to mayrhofen

Traditional Austrian house. Short walk from the centre of the town. Ski Bus available too. Friendly B&B owner, really helpful and courteous. Stayed there twice.

Sehr unkompliziert und freundlich. Auch wenn das Gebäude in die Jahre gekommen ist, war es gut ausgestattet und sauber.

Top Unterkunft in Top Lage mitten in Mayrhofen. Besonders hervorzuheben ist definitiv der Gastgeber Roman. Wir haben uns seit langem wieder richtig als Gast in einet Unterkunft gefühlt. Ein Highlight ist hier definitiv das ausgiebige Frühstück am Morgen. Wir würden jeder Zeit wiederkommen!

What a special place is gastehaus zum Gachtna. Roman, the host, is so friendly and goes out of his way to take amazing care of his guests. His breakfasts are the best I’ve had! I was unlucky and had an accident on the slopes. I couldn’t walk anymore so my ski vacation was over, but staying with Roman made it so much better. He took amazing care of me and I can’t wait to return under better circumstances.

Such a warm, clean and welcoming guest house. From the moment I arrived, to the moment I left, Roman took exceptional care of me. Breakfast was so good, I never wanted for anything (including lunch as I was so full it was great). I snowboard every year and have put this trip at the top of my list of best stays. Definitely will be back next year. Thank you Roman ☺️

This was the most hospitable accommodation I've ever booked on Booking.com. The appartments are comfortable, the breakfast is great and there is parking in front of the house.

Sauberes Rustikales Apartment mit einem super freundlichen und Herzens guten Mensch als Gastgeber. Das Frühstück ist sehr üppig und mehr als ausreichend. Skibushaltestelle direkt gegenüber uns mit dem Bus sind es 2-3 Minuten Busfahrt zur Gondel.

A great traditional Guesthouse which are becoming few and far between in Mayrhofen so I was happy to find this place. The host, Roman, goes out of his way to help and made my ski trip pleasurable. For those skiing you quite literally just fall out of the guest house and on to the free skibusses.

Gospodarz bardzo miły i pomocny. Śniadanie wyśmienite, na życzenie dostępna nawet opcja wegańska. Pokój duży i czysty. Wieczorem i w nocy cicho i spokojnie. Wszystko super, a cena najniższa w okolicy.

Roman runs a beautiful guesthouse just outside the town centre. Bedroom was spacious and comfortable. Roman put on a feast for breakfast which set us up great for the day on the slopes.

The apartment and rooms were more spacious than we expected. You get an authentic austrian experience in this guest house. The host (Roman) was very welcoming and was always available for questions or recommendations. There was space to store our ski equipment and on the last day we were allowed to store our personal belongings in the dining area until after skiing. The center of Mayrhofen is 10-15 min walk and the apartment is very quiet, not at all bothered by other residents.

Die Kommunikation war perfekt. Der Gastwirt ist sehr am Wohl der Gäste interessiert und sehr engagiert und hilfsbereit. Es gibt ein opulentes Frühstück.

Klasse Besitzer… ein überaus herzlicher Empfang trotz später Anreise (22:00Uhr). Auch beim Frühstück war alles was das Herz begehrte da und das trotz der sehr frühen Stunde (5:30Uhr).

Das Frühstück war ausgezeichnet und individuell. Individuelle Betreuung durch einen netten Quartiergeber. Gute Anbindung an die öffentlichen Verkehrsmittel.
