De tudo, a dona Rosa sempre disponível e uma anfitriã sem igual. Na casa estava tudo impecável. À chegada tinhamos um tabuleiro cheio de coisinhas para degustarmos que só demonstra todo o cuidado que a dona Rosa têm com os seus hóspedes.O espaço exterior é sem dúvida de uma qualidade espectacular principalmente para quem viaja com crianças pois têm escorrega, baloiços e uma casinha de jardim. A dona Rosa deu-nos permissão para ir ao pomar dela apanhar algumas frutas e foi sem dúvida uma experiência maravilhosa para os meus filhos. Com certeza voltaremos no próximo ano.

Encontramos tudo aquilo que precisamos para uns dias de descanso num ambiente muito acolhedor, a casa com tudo o que precisamos, um espetacular jardim, uma ótima piscina e o reconfortante carinho da D. Rosa e os seus "miminhos" que nos fazem sentir em casa e com muita vontade de voltar. Estadia excepcional. Um grande bem haja á D. Rosa por toda a atenção e cuidado. Pormenores deliciosos que nos fazem sentir especiais preparados por alguém muito especial na arte de bem acolher.l. Sítio 5 estrelas.

As instalações são ótimas e a anfitriã é excepcional :) Fomos muito bem recebidos. A casa estava impecávelmente limpa e com todas as condições. O exterior é lindo, muito bem mantido e perfeito para relaxar. Aconselho sentar no varandim da horta à noite para uma observação de estrelas de sonho. Obrigado Rosa :)

It is a beautiful place to stay for a short period of time or for 1-2 weeks stay. We have had here everything what we need - pool to swim, open summer kitchen to make a grill and even a closed garden to let the dogs run for a while. Having a car, you are 30 min away from amazing Coimbra or Lousa and Piódão is a remote, historical mountain village in central Portugal's Serra do Açor just 45 min drive. Host is very responsive and we were welcomed by the small set of local delicacy including bottle of wine, local strawberries and many more... We recommend this place very much and if we have an occasion - we will stay there one more time!!

The house itself is quite small, but the bedrooms are a perfectly decent size. However, the outside area, with a big tiled roof providing a huge area of shade all day, is fantastic. It has its own (big)fridge/freezer, a huge table with chairs plus plates, bowls and more and a barbecue and a traditional wood-burning oven for guests to use. Not forgetting,of course, the lovely swimming pool, which was cleaned every day by the owners before we even got up. At the same time, they also emptied the rubbish from the outside area. There was a big basket full of goodies waiting for us when we arrived, as well as a variety of homemade jams and honey. And every day the lady of the house brought us bowls of fresh fruit and vegetables, straight from her own garden. The owners were friendly and helpful, without being the least intrusive. Portuguese hospitality at its best.

Great property that had everything we needed. The outside area is super and as it was fully enclosed it was perfect for the dogs. The little treats that were left for us were very much appreciated. Would stay again

Dogs not being allowed out for 2 hrs first thing in a morning was a little awkward but we managed to work round it.

É um alojamento ideal para tempo mais quente. Será ótimo disfrutar do quintal e da piscina em diferentes condições climatéricas. A casa é um pouco fria no inverno, mas tem ar condicionado (um pouco barulhento) para compensar.

A viajar de bicicleta pela EN17, não foi preciso fazer um grande desvio para o alojamento. Tive oportunidade de ligar e antecipar a entrada, ainda para mais num dia de chuva, e não houve qualquer problema. Ao questionar sobre sítios para comer, a anfitriã D. Rosa deu várias informações valiosas, alertando para a dificuldade de arranjar restaurantes abertos para jantar. Ao mesmo tempo indicou onde encontrar o supermercado para poder comprar comida e deixou igualmente sopa caseira e fruta da sua horta. Foi uma atenção espetacular. Recomendo vivamente o alojamento e se necessário coloquem todas as questões que sejam necessárias que a D. Rosa, certamente responderá

Realmente gostamos de tudo, a casa o espaço exterior que é fantástico que recebe maravilhosamente pequenos e graúdos, , a localização, mas devo salientar a simpatia dos donos , deixaram uns miminhos maravilhosos para nós receber, e tiveram a amabilidade de ligar pessoalmente para saber se estávamos a gostar e se necessitamos de mais alguma coisa para melhorar a nossa estadia.. Certamente vamos voltar.

Da estadia não ter sido mais prolongada!

Una absoluta maravilla de alojamiento a 20 km de Coimbra. La anfitriona vive junto a la casa y está a disposición por si se necesita cualquier cosa. A la casita no le falta detalle, decorado con mucho gusto. Además, está todo LIMPíSIMO. La cocina tiene toda la vajilla y cubertería que puedas necesitar. Al recibimiento, la anfitriona nos dejó: dos copas de tomatitos cherry de dos tipos y otra de fresitas cultivado todo en su huerto. También nos dejó tres tipos de mermeladas caseras: de tomate, de higos y de melocotón. Una botella de vino tinto y otra de un licor típico de la zona, también casero (y riquísimo). Todo un detallazo. La zona de la barbacoa es muy completa, con una mesa redonda enorme, ventilador de techo que da muchísimo aire, gran frigorífico y dos barbacoas, una tradicional (aportaban carbón y leña) y otra grande de gas con termómetro, de las que se cierran, que fue la que utilizamos porque se hace antes todo. Y qué decir de la piscina, súper limpia (como todo) de buen tamaño para dar unas brazadas. Además, anexo a la zona de barbacoa y piscina hay otro jardín con un césped perfecto con un balancín y una tumbona, parque-casita de juegos para niños y cama elástica con protección. Nos fuimos con muchas ganas de volver en el futuro. Ojalá la tuviésemos más cerca de nuestra ciudad de residencia... Todo de 10/10 💙

Todo nos gustó, pero por decir algo, la cama de matrimonio era muy dura (y eso que a nosotros nos gustan muy firmes).

Adorámos a parte exterior, muito bem pensada e conseguida, para as famílias usufruirem ao máximo! Da simpatia, do cuidado e dos miminhos da Sra Rosa. A casa estava muito limpa, com todas as comodidades necessárias para passarmos uns excelentes dias. Com certeza, voltaremos em breve!

Tudo impecável, era mesmo o que eu queria para o meu dia , um sítio que me deixasse sonhar e é este o indicado gostei imenso. Os miminhos que a d.rosa nos deu eram maravilhosos é quase familiar muito bom. Uma piscina fantástica Gostei de tudo.... Recomendo

Adorámos a estadia! O espaço é muito bonito, bem decorado e transmite muita calma, ideal para momentos em família. Fomos recebidos pela D. Rosa, que foi extremamente hospitaleira e atenciosa, garantindo sempre total privacidade e ainda nos surpreendendo com alguns mimos que tornaram a experiência ainda mais especial. A casa estava impecavelmente limpa e equipada com tudo o que era necessário para uma estadia confortável. Tivemos pena de a estadia ser curta, pois por nós teríamos ficado mais dias. Sem dúvida, um local a recomendar e onde queremos voltar a repetir!

The accommodation was exactly as advertised. Small, but cosy, with everything we needed. Private parking off-road, closed in with an automatic gate. The outdoor facilities are excellent, although we couldn't use them to full advantage, as the weather was unseasonably cool (Even so, we couldn't resist having a quick dip in the swimming pool before running straight indoors to thaw out in a lovely hot shower). The host, Dª Rosa, was extremely helpful and friendly - but without intruding. On arrival there was a bottle of wine and water waiting for us, as well as a bowl of fresh fruit and a selection of home-made jams. On the second morning she appeared with a bowl of freshly picked strawberries from her garden and a freshly baked home-made cake. 2-3 km down the road (on the N17) in Mucelão we found the Restaurante "O Cantinho", which serves very reasonably priced lunches. Each day they have a different typical Portuguese dish (one fish dish, one meat dish - that's it). It caters for local working people, so portions are large. If you want to sample genuine traditional Portuguese cooking, this is the place.

The only thing missing was a tea-pot!

It was clean, wonderful and gorgeous backyard.

We stayed in this house for one day, but we had a wonderful holiday. Apartment was very clean and cozy, we were delighted with the delicious compliment from the owners. Courtyard of the house is the best place for holiday with pool, grill and dining area, beautiful garden with kids zone. We will definitely come again, thank you for the hospitality!

The location was good with several shops nearby it was very good for walking the dogs

The entrance to the property was very narrow and the courtyard had a couple of stone pots which didn't help parking

It was clean, nice and quiet well maintained and a lovely outdoor kitchen area and pool

The lighting was bad inside it was a little bit too dark

House and territory is nice, hosts presented us some wine and cake.

Hosts live on the territory, there are 2 houses and they rent out the small one, there is no indication at all that there is one more house on the territory, so that’s a lie. Please bear in mind that the territory isn’t private. Overall the hosts didn’t disturb us, though we felt a bit constrained and confused because we thought we thought it will be 100% private. 2 sockets in the bedroom near bed don’t work.

Our host welcomed us with a nice array of jams, fruit, and a bottle of wine. The property is absolutely perfect. It was tastefully decorated, comfortable, and very clean. We were welcomed to use their common areas, which was nice when we decided to have a down day from exploring. We would highly recommend this place to couples or families with young children. It is well located for those people that want to explore Coimbra and Piodao and have a car. It is located in a very friendly and safe village. What really makes it is how friendly and helpful the owner is.

Hospitality of the host, cousy apartment, welcome drinks and snacks, beautiful garden

Our stay in this house has been lovely. We really appreciated the fruits, the jams and the wine found at our arrival, the heating system (not very common in Portugal, so we were very grateful), the cleaning of the whole house. The space outside was very welcoming and nice, but we didn't use it much because the weather was a bit cold. We recommend it very much!

Basically nothing. Only one thing: we read that it was possible to ask for breakfast, but on site we were told that they don't make it. Maybe it could be changed the info on the booking page.

Home from home. The owner lives on site and it was just a lovely welcome. Fresh baked cake was waiting for us, fruit from their garden, a homemade liquor.. and many other touches. Very secured, with locked Gate. Gorgeous garden, we didnt use the pool (its Feb after all), gorgeous view. For dinner we headed about 15mins drive to : Churrescaira: roasted chicken @ As Medas; google states they open at 7pm but they were opened at 6.30pm Restaurante D. Dinis just further along (5mins drive from As Medas). We went on Valentine's day (forgot); restaurants were fully booked but they took as in which was lovely.of them. amazing food, very reasonable. For breakfast/ snack and coffee we headed into Beirao de Gema. lovely staff and very helpful.

It was a wonderful place for our family holiday. The house has all the amenities, a beautifully maintained garden and a lovely swimming pool. Our hostess, Rosa is a very nice and cheerful person who constantly surprised us with home-made cakes, strawberries and vegetables from her garden, and delicious liqueurs. The surrounding area is beautiful and more suitable for people (like us) who prefer nature and peace and quiet. All the best to you Mrs Rosa and your family.
