Excellent location next to the sea. Great breakfast. Very friendly owners. Good pub opposite. Quiet and good WiFi. Easy check in. Free parking onsite or on street. Good shower. Lovely outside flowers.

Room quite small with a low roof for someone who's 6 2. Plastic grass is always cheap looking.

Great location and lovely B&B. Very clean and well appointed. Hosts gave us a fabulous welcome and stored our bikes securely. Very good tapas restaurant in close proximity if you fancy something other than fish and chips, which are equally great

Could do with shower gel/soap in shower. Bed a bit on the small size for us but I'm sure will be fine for most (std double). Nothing that would stop us coming back again.

I thought it a traditional b and b. Homely, cosy and welcoming. The location is great and the breakfast spot on.

Not a lot not to like, but if I had to say something the stairs for the upper rooms are very steep, but there is not a lot the owners could do about that, and we where offered an alternative room to avoid the stairs. So really not an issue.

The owners are very friendly and work hard to meet your expectations. The Ashburnam is decorated to a modern high standard and spotlessly clean throughout. The full English breakfast was plentiful and tasty. Ideal location for the town, beach and seafront walks.

Everywhere was spotless. The hosts were so friendly and helpful, even going the extra mile to help. The breakfast was lovely so clean (not greasy at all !) and tasty. The location was superb, right by the sea but close to the front, and even had free parking . We could see the sea from our room.

Been going to Hornsea since I was a toddler. It's a special place. Colin and Debbie run the last B&B on the row of what used to be all B&B properties. They're wonderful hosts and they've spent a lot of time and money making the place beautiful. Our room was spotless and the bathroom and shower was lovely and spotlesslyclean. Comfy bed too. Breakfast was also perfect. Definitely coming back. Thank you for our lovely stay.

You can not fault this accommodation. It is immaculate inside and out , from the frontage, with its little seating area plus the availability of free parking and location so close to the seafront. And a 10 min walk to lovely Hornsea town centre with its village feel . The hosts are great welcoming they give you a choice of breakfast time. The decor through out the place is so fresh and modern and the rooms are spotless with very new up to date fixtures and beautiful sleek bathroom . The breakfast room is also very modern , with help your self real coffee machine fresh juice and cereals then a hot full cooked breakfast with was lovely . We can find no fault with this b&b well worth 5 stars across the board its a great place at a great price as well. Colin and Debbie should be very proud of themselves for this little gem they have . Debbie and Colin were so welcoming from the minute we stepped through the door, the property was perfect and right on the doorstep of the beach with was an even bigger bonus, the room was lovely and very comfortable and the breakfast was exceptional, me and my daughter loved it here we even booked an extra night whilst we was there and we can’t wait to return already!

We were in the attic bedroom, with sea views. Couldn’t both fit into the narrow dormer window space to look out together, had to take it in turns. Very minor point compared to all the good.

We received a warm welcome. We were able to change our room so we only went up one staircase. The room was spacious and clean. Nicely decorated, so was the bathroom which had a shower. It was good to have 2 chairs to sit on instead of the bed. Great that the TV was big and you could watch it in bed without straining your neck. The breakfast was lovely. Tea or coffee and cereal you served yourself. We couldn't fault this property and will definitely return. Excellent location with sea views.

Stairs steep, so maybe not for everyone, but this is as expected in a property of this age, however the owner helped with my bags which was lovely.

Room 4 was lovely with a bay window looking out to sea and a small sitting area. The Marine pub across the road was excellent for evening meal and a game of darts! Excellent cooked breakfast served to the table. Very pleasant hosts.

Everything about the property was perfect, from the very comfortable bed, the amazing breakfast cooked, the cleanliness was excellent and up to date modern decor. Even down to the little touches with the binoculars in the window which my daughter loved looking through at the sea.

I booked the Ashburnam as it was in the perfect location after a long cycle. I can’t praise my stay highly enough. First rate communication, super easy and friendly check in. The room was incredible and beautifully furnished. Breakfast was just as good and the locally sourced sausage were delicious. Thank you so much for such an enjoyable stay
