Reviewed Nov 13, 2025Een supergezellig huis waarin geleefd wordt en waarin je je meteen thuis voelt. Het huis ademt een sfeer van vakantie en genieten van het leven. Met een geweldige buitenruimte (terras, tuin) en een spectaculair uitzicht. Wij vielen er als een blok voor en hebben er erg van genoten.

Reviewed Sep 30, 2025The location was great. All the extra made the stay easier as you can't bring everything on holiday. Great for the kids to run around the property. Heaps of things to entertain the family.
The master bed mattress was a bit hard for my liking and the couch was dusty but I couldn't knock it for that.

Reviewed Jul 11, 2025La propriété qui est immense avec un "coin" forêt sauvage magnifique. La vue est juste splendide et a part la mer et les oiseaux il n'y a rien qui puisse déranger ! La maison est récente et dispose de tout ce que vous avez besoin pour passer un bon sejour avec tous les points d'intérêt dont Cathedrale Cove juste a côté! Enfin Tina est une super hôte que nous recommandons a tous !

Reviewed Jun 2, 2025Great place, had everything we needed and more. Fully stocked and convenient. The outdoors are adorable especially with the darksky and milky way visibility was amazing. Bird call in the morning is a must listen.

Reviewed Mar 6, 2025The house was wonderful though I think I was expected hardwood floors and a little more luxury with the price.
Our GPS could not locate the property. We arrived at night in the pitch dark and it was difficult to see street signs and the house itself was difficult to find, as Orchard Street is not just one street, but has a turn off. We ended up driving up dark, narrow, extremely steep streets not knowing where we were going. I would highly recommend the owners give SPECIFIC instructions to everyone who stays there, so no one else went through the ordeal we went through in trying to find this property.

Reviewed Jul 4, 2024We absolutely LOVED our stay at Hahei Hideout Retreat and will definitely be back! We went with another couple and it was the perfect space for a relaxed, mid-winter weekend away, plus in the perfect location for adventuring around the Coromandel. Super clean, well presented, and the kitchen was well-stocked. The fresh herb garden and little adventure trail down through the garden were added bonuses too!
Can't think of anything personally, it was honestly so awesome. The other couple we went with did say their bed was quite uncomfortable and they could feel the springs (they were staying in the room furthest away from the kitchen).
