Reviewed Jun 21, 2026The place is absolutely tidy. There are everything that you need in the house. The landlady is very nice and makes everything to serve us. She left bread, milk, butter, cereal and even snacks for the kids. The place is only 15 minutes away driving from the village and the beautiful beach.
The shower gets cold every 2 minutes. Must have an automatic clock to force you to have a quick shower

Only few minutes drive from 2 beautiful beaches / Wild Atlantic Way It is a Hidden gem - spacious , quiet with lovely hosts and everything you might need for the weekend break or a longer holiday. Hosts went above and beyond to make us feel welcome - there was few bits and pieces for breakfast , wood for the stove. They also let us use their BBQ.

Reviewed Oct 5, 2024Everything was lovely, the stove was lighting when we arrived, the house was very comfortable, the host was there to greet us, she had left milk bread butter and some snacks. We felt at home right away. We would definitely come back again if we are staying in the area.

Location is off the beaten path, can’t walk to a local pub, but that’s it.

Was difficult finding the property, needed to use Google maps. Needs further details to ensure confidence that you’re at the right place but host was available on the phone to help.

Reviewed Jun 23, 2024Very quiet place, no noisy planes or cars. Big difference, great escape from big city life. Feel like at home. All you need is in place. Welcome goodies: crips, choclate, Tea, coffee, milk. Around 15 minutes drive to the Ballybunion beach, 20 minutes drive to Tralee so very close. Very competitive price. A whole house for the price of a hotel room. Very nice and helpful owner. We enjoyed our stay.

Reviewed May 19, 2024Great quiet location, ideal for us within half an hour of Tralee Golf Club. it is down a long lane & is a peceful setting. Lovely warm welcome from our host. The cottage was warm as the stove had been lit, there was coffee,tea, milk, bread, butter, biscuits, crisps in the kitchen, TV & couple of 2 seaters to relax on. Very comfy beds. Really good shower.
