The staff and the cleanliness. The staff made a huge effort with little understanding of English to make our stay comfortable.

Very uncomfortable beds. The pool had not been cleaned for some time and was unswimmable. Not a walkable distance to the swimming beach. The two guys running the property tried really hard with the breakfast but it was not cooked properly.

This is a little oasis away from the main buzz of Mirissa but still in walking distance to the beaches of the town. Beautiful, relaxing garden with small pool, big rooms with everything you need and fantastic staff. All staff was super friendly! In particular the hotel owner, nicknamed the captain, was super helpful, well organized, very generous and also helped arranging our whale watching trip (went with Eagle Eye). He has great advice for the whole area. And he even invited us to his home to celebrate New Years with his family. Thanks again Captain for this unforgettable experience!

Bij ontvangst direct geholpen met de koffers naar binnen. Heel vriendelijk personeel die je helpt met alles. Ze gaven advies wat we kunnen doen en regelen ook de uitjes. Zoals de whale watching en het vervoer volgens eerlijke prijs. De laatste dag werd er zelf een heel ontbijt op maat gemaakt voor ons. Het hotel is goed onderhouden en wordt elke dag schoon gemaakt. Het stand erachter is mooi om zonsondergang te zien. Mirissa centrum en beach kan je beter met de tuk tuk doen.

De prijs is misschien een beetje aan de hoge kant, maar zeker waar voor je geld! Nibanna hotel bedankt en zeker een aanrader.

The hotel is perfectly located in a very nice part of Mirissa, away from the hustle, noise, and crowds, which makes it a very safe and peaceful place. The rooms are clean and spacious; we had a room with direct access to the swimming pool. Stylish furniture and a beautifully maintained garden add to the charm of the property. The service and staff are outstanding, especially Niahantha — extremely kind, friendly, and talkative. He prepared delicious welcome juices for us and was always ready to help with anything. We truly wish there were more people like him. He even arranged a tuk-tuk for us on our first evening. The owner is also wonderful, regularly checking whether guests are satisfied and if they need anything. Coffee is served in a beautiful teapot — aromatic and perfectly paired with a freshly prepared Sri Lankan omelette and toast. Of course, there are also other breakfast options available. In the evening, the pool and garden are beautifully lit, creating a very pleasant atmosphere. We really enjoyed spending time there — it’s a pity we stayed only two nights.

马路进去很长很窄的田野小道里，满心狐疑酒店在哪里，好难找。前台等人等好久，感觉很不好。床单上有没洗干净的污迹，补巴。卫生间有壁虎，有点吓人。蚊虫很多。位置写的离动物园几分钟，结果四五十分钟。

The garden and proximity from the beach for the sunset were lovely. The staff was adorable and very helpful. The breakfast and welcoming drink were very appreciated.

Mosquitoes were biting a lot, it wasn't possible to stay in the garden. Would be nice to have some mosquito repellent to burn in the garden.

This was our second stay at Nibbana, and once again it didn’t disappoint. We stayed in a spacious family room with a balcony overlooking the pool. Captain and his team are absolutely wonderful — so helpful and welcoming. Captain kindly stored our surfboard while we went on safari and visited Ella, and also arranged seamless transfers from Ella back to Nibbana and then on to Colombo.

Pobyt był fantastyczny, dobra lokalizacja, blisko do centrum oraz plaży. Pokoje czyste i zadbane. Personel był bardzo miły i pomocny. Bardzo polecam nocleg w tym miejscu.

Even though this hotel is not far away from the main road it was quiet and nice. There is a small pool at the hotel but it wasn't crowded or anything. The beach close to the hotel is quite rocky and wavy so not recommended for everyone to swim or just relax there. The owner was very friendly and helped our son with stomachache which was very nice :)

Everything was great. The room was clean and comfortable and really big. The breakfast was excellent. All the staff were so friendly and accomodating. The location is a bit out of mirissa but it is so easy to get a tuk tuk from outside

We had a fantastic week at Nibbana Mirissa Hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, breakfast was great with fresh juice each morning, and the swimming pool was a hit with our kids. Our family room was spacious and air conditioned. We saw many peacocks during our stay. The location is perfect—quiet and close to the beach and restaurants, and only a short tuk-tuk ride to central Mirissa. We’ll definitely be back!

It would be lovely if the pool was bigger, but in the space available that’s probably not possible.

Manager enorm aardig, regelt en helpt met alles voor oké prijzen. Van een trip naar Galle tot taxi’s naar de volgende bestemming. Heel erg fijn. Kamers zijn ruim, bed ligt fijn.

Kregen een andere kamer dan oorspronkelijk geboekt, kapotte stoel op het balkon, lekkende airco op de stoel dus buiten zitten doe je niet. Op een gegeven moment kwam er stucwerk naar beneden in de badkamer? Erg veel muggen overal maar daar kan de locatie niet veel aan doen. Kamers waren ook niet echt schoon, zwarte voeten. Bij het aangeven of ze een keer konden dweilen was er snel actie maar uiteindelijk weinig verbetering, nog stof en viezigheid in de hoeken en nog steeds een plakkerige vloer. Ondanks dat men het goed bedoeld kan er echt veel verbeterd worden.

The room felt quite run down and the bathroom was not very clean. Felt like the place needed a bit of a refresh and update. Breakfast was quite bad and very basic. Pool is a lot smaller than it looks in the pics.

The property was alright. The pool was small. The garden was nice. The staff were nice. The bed was comfortable. It's was all ok. The captain was a good man.

The place was not clean. The men, men do not clean well, asked if I wanted my room cleaning. I said yes please, they asked which bit. I expect it to be cleaned daily. This place is alright. Like every thing in Mirissa, you find it Alright. Could do with clean towels daily, think they were changed once in 7 days. The room was dark, it is on the ground floor so had a roof over the outside terrace area. I like bright. I week was to long. Breakfast was alright. Nothing special. Soggy toast. Coffee tasted of nothing. I bought my own . You soon realise that you are a commodity and it's about making money from you.

Location far from the main beach

I actually extended my stay here…twice. The first night I stayed in a beautiful room with a four-poster bead. It was a very spacious room with facilities like fridge and kettle. The breakfast is delicious with so much choice of food and freshly made juices. It’s a quiet location but you don’t have far to walk/tuk-tuk before you hit the main town area. Thank you for the relaxing stay!

The room size is spacious, clean and has all the facilities you need. Rooms include a ceiling fan and AC. Breakfast choices were amazing. Captain was very kind and knowledgeable about the island and offered support with activities and transport-thank you so much.

Outstanding. The accommodation, public areas and pool are kept in great condition. The team, headed by Lahiru are polite and friedly. Gimhan and Nishantha look after the food and the rooms. I had a problem untelated to the hotel and their help and support was first class. Anyone would enjoy staying here.

We stayed here as a family for a few days at the end of our trip and had a great time. The staff are really friendly and helpful. The Captain took good care of us and offered lifts if needed and helped us get a driver to the airport. He even helped to get a cake for my Wife's birthday. Our room was very spacious and the air con worked well. The location is close to the sea. Slightly rocky in that area, but slightly better beach areas are a just a short walk. It's a 20-30 minute walk into town, but you can just walk to the end of road and easily pick up a tuk tuk which takes around 5 minutes into town and doesn't cost much. Would recommend staying here.

Instal·lacions molt maques, ubicades a escassos metres del mar i ben ubicat per visita els punts més famosos de Mirissa i Galle. El gerent és molt atent i dona molt bones recomanacions d'activitats, llocs a visitar i realitzar compres. L'habitació molt neta i confortable, disposa d'una nevereta per refrescar begudes i esta climatizada. L'establiment disposa d'una piscina perfecte per refrescar-se després de la platja o activitats. Molts bons esmorzars (diverses opcions a triar) i el personal de l'hotel és excepcional i molt atent. Ens hem sentit com a casa.

Iets verder van het centrum van Mirissa, maar met de tuk tuk of lopend ben je er zo.

Personeel was zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. De kamers waren erg ruim.

Lovely breakfast in the garden with great omelettes.

Not sure if all boutique hotels are like this, but the room had hardly any amenities, and staff were rarely around. During a power outage in Mirissa, they took away the AC remote before starting the generator, and later turned it off, we had to argue to get it back on. They also didn’t provide water bottles on the second day, they didn’t have any in the kitchen, though eventually brought some after we asked.

The Host is excellent, a very friendly and courteous guy. Same goes for the rest of the staff. There are able to organize transport and whatever you need to a reasonable price. The rooms are clean with comfortable size. You can also use cozy lounge areas inside and outside in the garden and by the pool. The pool ist not huge but big enough to refresh and to do 3 strokes. Our family room provided a small fridge, plug converters and a climatization which we could adjust. The bathroom was big. Breakfast can be fried eggs, Sri Lanka omelette, sweet stuff, or If you want Sri Lanka breakfast wich we have not tried (supposed to be spicy, also comes with Dal). The TukTuk ride to Mirissa main beach takes less than 3 minutes. Coconut Tree Hill can be walked to. We would definitely come back again.

Nice Behavior of the Manger called Captain

The rooms are not managed professionally like Hotel, probably this property is a Home Stay and not a proper Hotel. The Air Conditioning needs to be maintained properly when guests arrive. There should be a proper dining table for breakfast instead of small tables on lawn. During our various stay at different locations in Sri Lanka most the hotels do not load the credit card bank charges to guest. At this property the final bill should be inclusive of all charges and that mentioned in booking.com. Full cash is inconvenient for taking out from ATM and pay, hence the final bill should not have the 3% bank charges of credit card back charged and loaded on Guests.

We really enjoyed our time at Nibbana Mirissa hotel. The rooms were spacious and modern, comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and the kids really enjoyed the pool. Location was perfect for us. So quiet and still so close to Mirissa and Weligama beach. Loved the local restaurants close by also. The staff did a phenomenal job, making sure we had everything we needed and Captain even gave us tuk tuk rides to the beach and coconut tree hill. We love to stay at smaller familyowned local hotels and this was very good quality for affordable price. Thank you for having us and we hope we will be back in Sri Lanka one day.

The room was very clean, we had the pool to ourself and the host was very sweet and helpful.

The hotel was very nice, rooms very spacious and comfortable . Well maintained garden and small swimming pool. The owner was very helpful and welcoming. The location is about 1 , 5 km from Mirrisa beach and the center, but you can easy get there with a tuk-tuk.

The location is within walking distance to a beach with corals and a nice evening can be spent on this beach.

The hotel does not have a functional restaurant at this time of the year, but they have all meals during the season. In case you come here during Jan and Feb be ready to travel for meals. As the hotel provides breakfast only, you can call this a proper decent B&B with an amazing host, who goes out of his way to help the travellers.

It is a white building near the beach, a 4-minute walk to a beach with few people. The yard is like a small garden and has a small swimming pool. There is a very large communal lounge area, the room is also very spacious and clean, there is good air conditioning, there is hot water for bathing, and the bed is large, the bed is very new and soft, very white. All the staff are very friendly, will help you with your luggage, and will ask you if you have enough breakfast, I highly recommend this hotel! Because if you live on the street, the traffic is loud, but all you have is the sound of the waves and the birds.

What a find ! Great host , couldn’t do enough for us. Perfect location , quiet spot but close enough to everything and everywhere we wanted to visit on our trip.

Great location out of the madness of central Mirissa but an easy walk or an even quicker tuk tuk ride to the main beach. The staff were so lovely and when we lost a phone the manager was very quick to help us recover it. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Just small things missing from the room like teaspoons and towels for 2 people but we know the hotel was very new and these are small teething issues.

Water for shower was cold but eventually fixed but not reliable,as second night, only one of us managed to have a hot shower. Too far out from centre of Mirissa. Had issues with payment and we were charged more than quoted on Booking.com. Overall, a disappointment and unhappy about being overcharged!

Everything was perfect! The location was quiet enough to enjoy the pool and natural surroundings, but close to the busy center of Mirissa. The host is so hospitable and welcoming. He provided us with everything we needed and more. Such a lovely guy! This is definitely the place to stay when visiting mirissa.

Worst hotel i went in Sri Lanka - Shower has no hot water - wifi does not work -No water, coffee and tee in the room - the waterpomp of the pool was off so the water in the pool was not even cirulating ... i could go on

There's not hot water to shower, the breakfast is quite simple and you have to wait around 20/30 min for them to serve it. If you need something like towels or a toilet roll you have to insist multiple times. Finally, they charged more that was said in booking, and the reason is because they use a wrong conversion rate from USD to LKR. The owner said that their bank have a different unnoficial rate conversion and as a result we ended up paying more. When we asked to pay by card, they argued that the dataphone was broken (a bit convenient).Taking all this things into consideration we conclude that the price of the hotel is unreasonably high for the service that they provide.
