Minor shortcoming - we had the room facing the street. Windows had to be kept closed because of the noise (with closed windows there was no noise).

Bei Fragen waren sie immer erreichbar und haben uns tolle Tipps gegeben. Beim Frühstück hatte man das Gefühl, man ist bei guten Freunden zu Besuch. Es gibt frisch gepressten Orangensaft, regionale Marmeladen, Honig,… alles was das Herz begehrt

Reviewed Sep 12, 2026Beautiful old house right in the center of Litochoro. All restaurants and shops are close but it is still quiet at night. The room was spotless and cute. The breakfast was the best of any accommodation we stayed at during our 3-week Greece roadtrip. However, what really sets this place apart from so many other accommodations are the most welcoming owners and their amazing hospitality! They even accommodated their breakfast times to match our early schedule to catch our flight. Upon arrival, we instantly felt like home and would definetely stay again! Many thanks!

Reviewed Sep 9, 2026John and his family were the best hosts. Their knowledge of the area was very helpful, they recommended restaurants, hikes, things to do. The guesthouse is located in the centre of Litochoro, just a short walk from everywhere. The house and our room were clean and tidy, with complimentary drinks in the fridge, and tea and coffee in the communal area to prepare anytime. The breakfast was delicious and generous, with bread, cheese, fruit, veg, nuts, home made spreads, yoghurt, eggs, freshly sqzeezed orange juice and more. It was very quiet at night and we loved the pillows. We will definitely return!

Reviewed Aug 18, 2026Perfect stay at riverside guesthouse. A small family run place. Has only two rooms, so it was all for ourselves. The location is amazing, close to litochoro center, but queit and peaceful. The place was very clean. And they thought about every detail. Amazing breakfast, the family who runs the place were so nice and helpful. Definitely we will come back again!

Reviewed Aug 11, 2026Nous avons tout aimé ! La maison est restaurée avec beaucoup de goût, c’est l’une des plus belles de la petite ville. L’accueil de Yannis et de ses parents était très chaleureux. Les chambres sont très confortables avec boissons à disposition dans un petit réfrigérateur. Le clou de notre séjour fut le petit déjeuner : incroyable ! Le meilleur que nous ayons eu en Grèce, digne d’un 5 étoiles. Nous avons vraiment pu expérimenté l’art de l’hospitalité grecque. Encore merci pour ce magnifique séjour 🤩 !!!

Πολύ καλό πρωϊνό. Βέβαια, δεν θα είχαν καμία σημασία όλα αυτά, αν δεν υπήρχε η ευγένεια, η καλοσύνη και η αξιοπρέπεια των ιδιοκτητών και των παιδιών τους, και αυτή η αίσθηση του μέτρου.

The beds were comfortable, and all the facilities were in good working order and well-maintained. We enjoyed a hearty breakfast. You could also see Mount Olympus from near the property. Man sieht dem Haus die Hingabe der Besitzer an und diese spiegelt sich in Ihrer herzlichen Art, der Wohnung und auch dem perfekten Frühstück / Versorgung wieder. Hinzu kommt die zentrale Lage im Ort und zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten. Auf ein Wiedersehen in Litochoro.

The breakfast was prepared with all the attention and the best quality! Fresh fruit, omelette, delicious bread, Greek yoghurt.. we simply loved it! Litochoro is a beautiful cosy town; you cannot miss. Parking is nearby at a short walking distance. Restaurants are are close by. We want to come back 🥰

Wir waren in Zimmer 1 und die Fotos im Internet vermitteln nicht annähernd die geschmackvolle Einrichtung des Zimmers. Es gibt einen zusätzlichen Aufenthaltsraum und einen Innenhof. Die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich, zuvorkommend und zu Recht stolz auf ihre Unterkunft. Sie hatten tolle Tipps für kurze Wanderungen und Restaurants. Das Frühstück war phänomenal. Lage: im Ortszentrum, kostenlose Parkplätze 3 Minuten Fußweg entfernt Wenn Sie Baden wollen, fahren Sie nicht ans Meer. Die Enipea Schlucht ist nur 5 Gehminuten entfernt und bietet phantastische Badeplätze.
Ich habe ca. 3 Sekunden überlegt: Nichts Leider hatten wir nur eine Übernachtung.

Reviewed Jun 20, 2026This is a lovely little hotel with 2bedrooms. One has a double bed and a full size single. If you book the 2 rooms the whole property is yours. There are hot drinks available all the time and free cold drinks in the fridges. It is really central and very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was amazing. John and the owner are excellent hosts who are very knowledgeable about the area.

Reviewed Jun 9, 2026אהבנו הכל!!! חדר נוח מאוד במיקום מעולה. נמצא ממש במרכז. הכל קרוב במרחק הליכה. המארחים כל כך נדיבים ויצאו מגדרם בכדי שנרגיש נוח ולא יחסר לנו כלום. המליצו על מקומות לטיול ומסעדות טובות. ארוחת הבוקר היתה מצויינת (ביצים, ירקות, פירות, גבינות, יוגורט, מאפים) לאחר שהורדנו את הדברים בדירה חנינו את הרכב בחניה חופשית ציבורית במרחק 2 דקות הליכה. אין לי ספק שאחזור לשם בעתיד

My kids loved the marmelade that was family made! As we had the house fully for ourselves, it was more of a 7 star personal service than B&B.
There are few tiny things one could pick on, but the overall experience shadows them all and it fully shows that people matter not the things.

Reviewed Oct 14, 2025We stayed for 2 nights in RiverBed, Litochoro, over the weekend for climbing the Olympus. Our stay in RiverBed wad exceptionally pleasant. A boutique family owned place, beautiful and super clean, warm and friendly. The owners, Evangelos and John (father and son), did everything possible to make us feel comfortable and helped, including packing our breakfast for the hiking that supplied us for the whole day...everything was just great. Highly recommend! for all good reasons and especially for personal attitude, kindness, and generousity.

Reviewed Oct 6, 2025Great hospitality! As soon as we came we felt like home. A family owned business and everyone was so kind, helpful and super nice. The rooms are beautifully decorated, immaculate and well equipped. We had free water, soft drinks and snacks. The breakfast was a treat: fresh orange juice, home made pastry, nuts and figs pancakes for my son, omelets and so much more. We asked to leave our staff for the night as we went for the Olympus, that was very helpful. We will definitely comeback again!

Reviewed Sep 16, 2025It lives up to its name entirely as a traditional home in which you are a very welcome guest, but what elevates it beyond excellent to a memorable stay is Evangelos and his family that own and run it. I would visit Litohoro again just to be their guest. Most hospitable family I have stayed with. Evangelos was there at 6 am to pack some goodies for us as we were climbing Mt Olympus next day
