Reviewed Feb 9, 2026The house was extremely beautiful and would buy it if given the opportunity, location was excellent and design of the house is great with a massive kitchen. Owner was also very accommodating towards us.
The aircon didn’t seem to be working the greatest and maybe needs a pollen filter change or something of that nature and the miggies/bugs at around 7 at night was something out of a horror movie

Reviewed Dec 21, 2025Beautiful home with a lovely view. Has the potential to be amazing. Convenient, spacious, well furnished and a well equipped kitchen. The owner was available on WhatsApp and was responsive. Would go back if changes are made.
No housekeeping. The entire house could do with a proper spring clean. Towels not changed daily and looked dirty. Oven had old food in it and was not cleaned. Knives are damaged and not washed properly. The freezer in the kitchen had something brown dripping from it. Main ensuite toilet is faulty. The pillows and bed linen needed to be washed and smelled like dampness and stuffiness. The aircon made a knocking sound from time to time, in the main bedroom. Wifi is bad and keeps dropping, which also affects the use of the TV's. Pool was not brushed and there was a build up of algae. Be aware that there are ducks that live there. It is part of the charm, but the droppings can be off putting.

NO HOT-TUB AS ADVERTISED( requested), Wrong impression about hot-tub ONLY ONE SWIIMING POOL(not heated) faulty!!!! , NO VIEW DAM AS SUGGESTED BY PHOTOGRAPH. INVERTER EMERGENCY POWER SUPPLY FAULTY. LACK OF GLOBES FOR ALL ELECTRIC LAMPS.

Reviewed May 8, 2025The host was exceptional in the way she accommodated our requirements for our stay after my partner had been in an accident. She was very accommodating of his needs and went out of her way to assist. The place was homely and the fireplace with gas fire kept us warm at night whilst we snuggled up in front of the large TV at night. My boys enjoyed the close proximity to the dam for fishing. We enjoyed our stay and we will be back!

Property not clean. Counters were dirty. Shower in en-suite bathroom was filthy. Outside shower could not be used, it was extremely dirty. Half the lights don’t work. Globes need to be replaced. No hand soap in en-suite bathroom. Drawer with spices in - beyond dirty. Outside pool cushions nowhere to be found. All pillows need to be replaced, very uncomfortable. Entry and exit codes to Pecan Estate annoying…

It's more of a suggestion- Poolside Towels should be included. Lighting over the pool area could be improved. Unfortunately Cellphone signal is not the greatest in the area.

Reviewed Sep 28, 2024The place is beautiful, classy, and clean. Nice view. Self-catering, plenty of kitchen utilities. No question about security, you are safe.
The helper ambushing us when we were packing to leave. No greetings or introduction, she just came in rushing and started cleaning the house when we actually still have more than an hour to leave the place. Bad manners
