Old cobwebs & spiders in corners and across wall at headboard, black/mould bits around bath, crack in bath, lots of holes in bathroom wall panels from previous fittings, very old furniture, fittings/bathroom mirror etc. No accessible socket near headboard. No hairdryer. Very rattle windows in the wind. Extremely hard uncomfortable mattress. Could hear the mattress in neighbouring bedroom creak loudly through the wall.

car park is a bit of a walk-through for people accessing the high street so didn’t feel secure (but tbf nothing happened during our stay) Rooms too hot and no fan/AC and windows don’t open very wide Shower door was off the rails We were worried about there being a nightclub underneath but not sure if it’s still in action as we didn’t hear it luckily Noise from loud vehicles and seagulls as we’re on a main road

Tired, decor dated, stairs to room (18) no bannister on wall side only on decreasing stair side as they curved down. No wardrobe, shower poor, shower enclosure mouldy silicone. Ventilation poor. No reception staff most of the time.

En suite was small and creaky, but all ok. Unfortunately a lot of noise from people in the street out front, including police presence. But I was tired, so managed to sleep through most of it. Decor could do with some updating

Personally, I found the decor unattractive; the reception area is pretty dark and the bedroom was bland.

Lady who checked us in, also served drinks, sorted us out about the pool as well as dealing with many other customers. Ate in the restaurant in the evening and had breakfast in the morning. Food and service was perfect. Loved the facilities. Everything was clean and comfortable.
Having to leave. Would love to have booked for a few days.

Room and private bathroom quite tired looking and need freshening up to look cleaner. Problem with shower (room 10) so unable to use as shower head wouldn’t stay up as soon as switched on. Lovely hot bath instead though! Borrowed hair dryer and iron and ironing board from reception. Iron wasn’t clean and left a black mark on my top which was disappointing.

Room was good and bad. Overpowering smell of airfreshener, a very noisy sliding door to the toilet which did not fully close, no shower mat. Mattress was comfortable and additional pillows and a hairdryer were provided.

The shower in the room was pretty tricky to get right. The hotel also has an in-house club. We stayed for Friday and Saturday night and both nights, the music was very audible and went on until 2am.

Bed was a little small, my husband is tall and struggled to get a good rest. Room basic, could do with a hairdryer in the room but they were available upon request.
