Reviewed Oct 8, 2026We had an amazing stay at this cottage — it was the perfect place to escape the town, relax, and truly reset. The cottage is in a beautiful countryside location, yet still within an easy drive of some great places to explore. The cottage itself was spotlessly clean, warm and cosy. The master bedroom was spacious and had amazing views, which made waking up there extra special. The cottage is located up on a hill, so there is a short, a bit steep drive along a country lane to reach it, but it was absolutely worth it. The peaceful surroundings, with cows, sheep and pheasants nearby, really made it feel like a proper countryside escape. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would happily come back!
