Reviewed Aug 30, 2026It was superb! Everything was spotless and the room was very cozy and comfortable. Very nice owner, super friendly staff. I would recommend booking with Elson Manor and I will most definitely stay there again. Its a bit far from shops so get your goodies before you go there. All in all: 5 Stars!

The access roads to the location are not in a good condition. The tarred road has many potholes. The alternative is a 7km gravel road.

Reviewed May 3, 2026The place is really top notch inside. Though it is still being upgraded, the inside is really nice and comfortable.
The road to the place is beyond terrible. The outside is still being developed and it's not yet appeasing. There are no burglar guards on the windows in the bathroom and that makes it feel unsafe.

Reviewed Mar 19, 2026Place was very clean, seemed like new, there was a kitchen, which is not shown in pictures., with a microwave.
Access to the guesthouse without a bakkie (pick-up) is at this stage (March 2026) almost not possible due to gravel roods being in very bad condition. No provision for breakfast, which is a problem as there are no eating places in the neighborhood. No reception, only a security guard at the gate who will give you the key to your room.

Reviewed Dec 17, 2024The rooms were very spacious and everything was working. The shower, the aircon,the TV and just the general feel of the area was great.
The location is a little hidden, maybe a Bigger signage board with brighter colour's to make it easier for night travellers would assist. A few others from the Main road just to make easier to get there for out of town lodgers. The road is very bad,about 8 km of really bad pot holes.

We were impressed with the location of the establishment, relative to our trip, the kind/helpful security official, the secured facility, the modern building and modern finishes inside the room, in particular, the modern and spacious walk in shower, the neatness of the place, the neat and crisp bedding/sheets, trouble free connection to dstv.
This has nothing to do with the facility itself but the road leading to the facility is terrible, shame to the local municipality for having left the road to degenerate to a not so safe road to drive on.

The road to there it is only issue I had. The shower it is bit small but it is normal size anyway. Being a big guys it was a bit of struggle
