Tauranga Harbour Views

I stayed for the week as I was recovering from surgery and it was perfect. Very warm and cosy with lovely views of the mount. Very clean and had all the facilities I needed like a fridge, washing machine, microwave, little stove cooker, heat pump etc. Would absolutely stay again.

The bed could be a little firmer as I felt I sunk into the mattress - in saying that I had great night sleeps.

Ceiling sound insulation could be better (noisy foot steps).

Upon arriving in Tauranga, we found the room we had booked to be practically uninhabitable and demanded our money back!! This meant we were stuck in an unknown city with nowhere to stay on a long weekend. Thanks to Booking.com we found Harbour Views. Our weekend was perfect, clean, comfortable accommodation to come back to every nightbeautiful views and no noisy, other guests, foottraffic or cars.

The location was excellent as it was close to the city centre and beaches. The home is in a very quiet area.

Could not fault the accommodation.

Nothing at all

Accommodation is great, good size,good fixtures and the extra little touches were nice. The view is amazing and the apartment is well fitted out.

Sadly the only thing that lets it down is the noise from upstairs, there is clearly no noise insulation between the floors you can hear every step the people upstairs make, muffled sounds from the TV,doors closing etc. It would have been nice to have some privacy curtains in the bedroom especially so you don't need to close the full curtains when privacy was needed.

Lovely place in a quiet street but very central to all the sites. Easy parking off the street. Great view of the harbour. Lovely people running the place. Strongly recommend.

Very complete appartment equipped with all you may need. Perfect conserved and clean. Located in a residential area, very quiet. Easy to arrive to the city center by car. Great views.

CATS. I hate cats

We liked the lay out. A separate lounge for eating, TV and coming and going. A separate kitchenette space kept things really tidy. This kept the bedroom quiet, clean and cozy. The use of a modern washing machine was a real bonus too!

For the price... it did not disappoint.

The house was immaculately presented, and had everything you could want if you’re travelling and need some creature comforts of home. The location was excellent, and had such an amazing view of the water. The communication from the host was very informative. I honestly dont have enough words to say how much I loved staying here. If I ever come back, I will be making sure I stay here!

I personally wasn’t a fan of the mattress, but my partner loved it

I very much enjoyed the space as a whole. It was such a lovely place for such a reasonable price too! It was peaceful, and just all in all wonderful.

Nothing really 😅, I however wish I got to meet the lovely hosts though.

Everything about this stay was exceptional. The hosts, the accommodation and the location. Would happily recommend this place to anyone. It was without doubt one of our best decisions on our 6 week tour or NZ.

Like it being close to the city, located in a quiet suburb and the awesome views and lovely area outdoors.

The house is just underneath the owners dwelling which can.make it feel less private than some other places. Conversations.and normal house activities can be heard.

The settee in the lounge was very uncomfortable we find photos sent to coming guests do not always represent a property eg the garden in this case.it looked as if the view of the sea, was completely from this property.

what a lovely place to stay, a real home away from home, everything you could possibly want was provided. Stunning views across the water to the Mount, so much nicer to stay in a real home rather than a hotel. Highly recommend for business or personal travel.

Julie and Murray are excellent hosts. They go above and beyond. The quarters were immaculate and well appointed.

A clothes drier would be nice. Failing that, a fan would be nice for drying out wet clothes on the drying rack.

Very clean, tidy, everything I needed was here. Very accommodating hosts, very friendly, approachable, really comfy bed, great shower and kitchen with a laundry washing machine a bonus. I would really recommend this place and I look forward to returning again sometime.

Great stay, lovely hosts, clean rooms, a kitchen where we found everything needed for breakfast or snacks, comfortable beds, a private patio with lounge furniture and a nice view to the the harbour and Mt. Maunganui
