Amazing house for getting ready with my girls before my wedding. The house is so well set up, beds were so comfortable and grounds stunning.

The space was so stunning, honestly every part was perfect. The best place to get ready for our wedding!

This accommodation was booked for a group (bride/bridesmaids) for a wedding weekend and was just gorgeous. Its location was close to the venue which was in Waimauku (we even had to turn back when we were on the way to the venue and still got to the venue in time!). The getting ready process was beautifully captured in this place; and it was so relaxing to be in this place before the chaos and busyness of the wedding, and was a peaceful place to be in to wind down after. The hosts were SO generous in their amenities, they even left chocolates in each room. It really just felt like home.

There was only one bathroom - one room that had the shower and the toilet - that was a bit of an issue in terms of accommodating everyone. We had about 7 in our bridal party and then additional vendors (Hair and Make Up and Photography) come through. We made it work, though, and it was all good! The loft can get quite hot but there is a fan up there which was well used! Other than the bathroom situation, everything was immaculate, pristine and perfect!

A casa é ótima, espaçosa, com muito verde no entorno. Estava tudo limpo e organizado. Mesmo sendo longe do centro, cerca de 30 minutos, é de fácil acesso. A anfitriã foi muito gentil, nos ofereceu um vinho e itens de café da manhã cortesia. E ainda, fizemos o check-out mais tarde. Foi realmente espetacular.

Não havia suporte para xampu e outros itens no chuveiro. Tendo que colocá-los no chão. Somente isso, o restante estava perfeito!

Plenty of communal space to entertain in the lounge and dining room area. Very isolated and peaceful. Great value for money as well

We enjoyed having our family together at Kauri Lodge. There was room for everyone with 4 spacious bedrooms and a great living area for being together. Kitchen and dining area and bathroom well appointed and spotlessly clean.

Everything, the location, the property, the house!!

We loved all the way it was set up as an entertainment space - plenty of utensils, large bowls platters boards etc. Every little detail was definitely thought of - abundance of towels and the breakfast that was provided that we unfortunately didn’t touch. Amazing amazing stay

A beautiful property with 4 bedrooms, so has plenty of room for an adult family. Newly renovated, the owner has paid meticulous attention to detail to provide their guests with every comfort. The gardens are magnificent and provide for such a peaceful and restful environment. It is rural but within minutes from the motorway to Auckland or a few minutes from Kumeu. The owner communicated well also.

There was nothing to not like.

Great communication with the host, the property has been recently renovated and is immaculate. We would definitely stay again and recommend to anyone staying in the area.
