Reviewed Aug 31, 2026La posizione dell'appartamento è ottima: vicinissima al mare, al caffè degli Oudaya e al giardino andaluso, proprio al centro della kasbah. Molto gentile il gestore che ci ha dato tutte le indicazioni per arrivare ed è stato molto disponibile. Ci ha fornito anche una lista di luoghi da visitare e consigli su dove cenare. Che dire? Abbiamo concluso in bellezza il nostro soggiorno a Rabat. Saremmo rimasti volentieri ancora qualche giorno.
La pulizia è migliorabile e le tubature sono da rivedere.

El lugar es precioso y transmite una sensación de tranquilidad desde el primer momento. Además, la atención fue excelente y todo resultó incluso mejor de lo esperado. Sin duda, repetiría la experiencia y lo recomendaría al 100 %. ¡Una auténtica joya!

Reviewed Jun 23, 2026Excellent accommodation in the heart of Rabat old town. Very beautiful terrace with picturesque viewpoint over Kasbah des Oudayas as well as the riverfront. The riad-style apartment has everything you need for a perfect stay. From comfortable beds to spacious kitchen, our stay was unforgettable. The house has a beautiful design and it keeps cold even when outside is hot. The overall space is quite huge with long elongated sofa and kitchen table. I would definitely recommend to book this accommodation when in Rabat: it has perfect location, very close to the beach and Medina. The atmosphere in the old town while living in this riad is once in a lifetime.

Были проблемы с первоначальным поиском на месте — где апартаменты расположены, но здесь скорее мы сами затупили. Хорошие отзывчивые хозяева. Кухонная техника, посуда, стиралка — присутствует и функционирует. Кровати удобные.
Довольно шумно. Окна спален выходят на центральную улицу — народ там тусуется всю ночь. + ещё хочется открыть окна. Межкомнатные двери и замки выдержаны в старинном стиле — немного заедают и открываются закрываются с громким звуком. Отсутствует шампунь и гель для душа. Справедливости ради, надо отметить, что в описания жилья они тоже отсутствуют.

Reviewed May 11, 2026Nous avons adoré l’emplacement de l’appartement, en plein dans les Kasbah des Oudayas, c’était un lieu chaleureux où tout le monde est accueillant. La terrasse donnant sur l’océan et les toits des Oudayas était un réel coup de cœur
Nous n’avons pas aimé le fais qu’il soit mal aéré, moisissure dans la douche et sur les murs du salon, forte odeur d’humidité, la vaisselle n’était pas très propre également, tout avait une odeur de renfermé. Je pense que des améliorations au niveau de la VMC pourrait être pensé.

She gave us recommendations about where to eat and arranged our transport back to the airport for a very reasonable price. She even came to find us on the way there as we got lost! Very traditional property - you feel part of the community from the start!
Not the property’s fault but the kasbah was noisy at night time. Also due to heavy rain prior to visit, the property smelled damp. However the host helped with putting some incense to burn.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026Safaa as the hostess is a true star. Since we arrived almost a couple of hours earlier then planned, she immediately drove down to give us the keys. Dar Sultana is exceptional in location, decor and facilities. In the heart of the historic cultural centre, has a well equipped kitchen and basic condiments. Heaters in all rooms and living room with TV connected with access to channels like Netflix. The entire apartment's decor reflected a cultural setting of the region. Location very clean, close to beach and the old market

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Appartement très bien situé dans la Kasbah, proche de la plage et de la médina de Rabat et de Salé (possibilité de traverser le Bouregreg en barque). Belle déco marocaine et une très belle vue depuis les terrasses. Des lits fermes mais confortables. Draps et serviettes bien propres.
Manque d’ustensiles de cuisine (grande casserole surtout), un feux gaz ne fonctionnait pas. Des problèmes d’éclairage : pas de lumière dans le salon et plusieurs autres lampes ne marchaient pas. L’eau dans la douche s’évacue très mal et la ventilation ne fonctionnait pas, donc une humidité qui stagne. Pas du tout insonorisé par rapport à la rue, qui était particulièrement bruyante sur cette période de Ramadan (il est tout à fait normal que les gens fassent la fête, c’était juste assez difficile de dormir). Malgré ces inconvénients, dont certains sont facilement améliorables, nous avons vraiment bien apprécié notre séjour à Dar Sultana !

Reviewed Dec 14, 2025Un séjour absolument inoubliable. Dès notre arrivée, nous avons été accueillis avec une gentillesse et une bienveillance rares. Safa et Hajja sont tout simplement exceptionnelles. Elles ne se plient pas en quatre, mais en dix pour que tout soit parfait, pour que l’on se sente bien, apaisé, choyé et pleinement satisfait. Ici, on ne se sent pas “comme à la maison”… on se sent encore mieux que chez soi. Chaque détail est pensé avec le cœur, chaque attention est sincère, sans jamais être forcée. Et que dire de Hajja… Ses mains sont tout simplement merveilleuses. Ses plats sont exquis, généreux, remplis d’amour et de savoir-faire. Chaque repas est un moment de bonheur, un voyage dans les saveurs, préparé avec passion et authenticité. Un lieu rempli de douceur, d’humanité et de chaleur, porté par des personnes extraordinaires. Merci Safa, merci Hajja, pour tout ce que vous donnez, sans compter. Une expérience que l’on n’oublie pas et que l’on recommande les yeux fermés.

Reviewed Dec 8, 2025Beautifully restored home with traditional Moroccan touches. The 360 degree rooftop view is quite stunning. Enjoyed the call to prayers from the nearby mosque. Host met us late at night upon arrival. He was very knowledgeable and very helpful.
Linens could have been cleaner. Some noise at night and if it is windy the windows rattle making difficult to sleep.

L’hôte a été d’une gentillesse incroyable, toujours disponible, attentionné et vraiment soucieux de notre confort. On s’est sentis comme à la maison. Je recommande à 100 %, c’était une très belle découverte !

Our only issue was that the street outside can be a bit noisy and the beds are a bit hard, otherwise we loved it and would recommend!

Location is very noisy with tourists, there is limited insulation from outside noise. The area can also have a bit of a smell.
