La amabilidad y la tranquilidad

Excelente ubicación. Las instalaciones son limpias y tranquilas. El personal es muy amable. Será mi lugar fijo cuando regrese a Medellín.

Las almohadas podrían ser mejores. Mejor señalización en la cocina respecto al gas, en una ocasión alguien dejó accidentalmente una hornilla abierta; pudo ser peligroso.

Great location, very friendly and responsive management. Super clean and extremely well run. For me the only place to stay in Medellin. Close to everything but still quiet.

Fijn hotel op een super goede locatie in Medellín. Rustig gelegen maar dichtbij winkels en metrostation. Er is een grote schone keuken om zelf eten te maken. En een fijne ruimte om te zitten. De kamer is ruim en de douche heerlijk (warm water).

Het is warm in de kamer. Er is wel een ventilator maar dat vind ik persoonlijk niet zo fijn. Ook een muggennet boven het bed zou fijn zijn.

El precio de la habitación varió al momento de pagar. Me cotizaron 162 mil las tres noches y me hicieron un recargo del 13%

Bonito, limpio, bien ubicado, área súper tranquila, la cocina cuenta con todo lo necesario. También tiene un café que pese a estar cerrado en la noche siguen vendiendo cosas y a precios muy normales. Las próximas veces que vaya a Medellín me volveré a quedar allí

Muy agradable estadía

Great place, lovely staff, clean and comfortable rooms, really nice coffee. The location is perfect - just a few minutes from the Estadio Metro station, and easy to get to Communa 13, bus stations, city centre etc. A quite street with a lot of restaurants just around the corner.

We wished there were mosquitoes nets in the windows. That was the only small thing we would improve.

La ubicación excelente, se percibe seguro, muy cerca del estadio, y de la 70, el lugar increíble, la limpieza excelente, la cocina con todas las herramientas, el personal chebre, a media cuadra encuentras parqueadero para la moto, sin duda volvería a hospedarme en próximos conciertos en el estadio.

No mejoraria nada, un excelente hospedaje.

Todo me gustó inclusive nos guardaron las maletas terminadas la estancia y nos permitieron llegar a descansar y cargar los celulares,de verdad los súper recomiendo

Petite chambre mais confortable, avec étagère, cintres, etc. Chambre et salle de bain très propre. Personnel adorable et bon petit déjeuner (en supplément). La cour intérieure est agréable. L'auberge est à 5min du métro, dans un quartier globalement safe. Possibilité de laisser les sacs dans un local sécurisé.

Voisins de chambre bruyants qui parlent tard dans les couloirs ou écoutent la musique fort dans leur chambre. Nous avons dû nous lever pour le dire mais c'est pénible de constater le manque d'éducation et de considération de certains locataires. C'est le problème des auberges...

It can be a bit noisy from the party street a few blocks away but nothing some earplugs from the pharmacy can't handle. It would be a good ideea for them to sell or give down at the reception

I loved my stay at Selva House. Marco and his team always made me feel welcome and safe - especially for a solo female traveller who can't speak much of Spanish, it felt really secure. I recommend you to eat there too. I had a great pesto tomato sandwich, delicious pineapple cake and best carrot cake throughout my stay. I also recommend you to visit the place for a vibe and a great coffee. It's exceptional.

Cuando llegamos hubieron problemas en la habitación porq me habían indicado que me adicionarían una cama en la habitación y luego dijeron que una colchoneta pero a la final fue cama.

Selva is an amazing house. Everything is clean, kitchen has everything you need, service is friendly, the location in Laureles is close to everything but quiet and safe neighborhood. Besides, there is a ceramic atelier and a cafe in the house.

I've stayed in many hostels, and this hostel was one of the cleanest, most organized and comfortable hostels I've ever stayed in. The best quiet peaceful sleep I have found in Medellín. The owners are kind and serve delicious food. The kitchen was superior to your average hostel kitchen. Highly recommended

It has a very nice garden and in-house coffee. The kitchen is amazing: clean, organized, and equipment with a lot of gadgets. After traveling for months with eating out, it’s a perfect stop to recover and eat my own food again.

It’s close to the stadium and outside from the main tourist center. I was able to run, go the park and swimming. It’s close to the metro station and super easy to get around.

The room was great for the price. Selva House was clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was nice and the staff were super helpful.

I’ve stayed in the hostel room which just recently opened. Everything was very nice, clean and modern and a lot of space to put your stuff. They also offer towels, overall very good value for money. I also really liked the very well equipped kitchen and that it’s so close to a metro station.

It’s not necessarily social, but great if you’re searching for quietness.

Great location! I didn’t take a breakfast because of my early hours for the excursions.

This place is fantastic and I stayed 3 nights. Great quality room with hot shower and a good fan and TV with netflix etc. Really comfortable and calm but not far from the busy streets/bars etc should you want that. Also Estadio Metro is a 5 minute walk. The staff were always helpful and available. Laundry facility which was very fast. Lovely cafe downstairs with great coffee and food options.. Amazing value for money too. 10/10 for this one. If I ever come back to Medellin I would return here.

Comfortable beds, hot water in the shower and plenty of space. Good kitchen area and a quiet (for Medellín) place to stay just off a very busy area.

The location is great, in a quiet area close to amenities and to tube station. The place is clean and agreeable. The staff is extremely welcoming. It is also value for money.

This is an incredible gem and the price is almost hard to believe. Located on a quiet tree lined street that in a short block and a half from the busy Calle 70, selva has been the perfect place for my work/play week. Speedy Wi-Fi, hot strong shower, lovely guests, a kitchen…it’s was perfect space.

Absolutely nothing.

The hosts are great and very helpful. Their coffee is fantastic. We had a private room with bathroom and it was comfy and quiet. The whole place is clean and tidy. your close to all restaurants and shops yet away from all the noise as well. Thanks again for a great stay!

Everything about this place is top tier excellent. The rooms are superbly decorated, lit and spacious. The details make it extra amazing. Lots of Shelves, fans/coolers where needed, a table + comfy chair for laptop time, soundproof windows, bright sunlight, extra thick curtains for sleeping well, the levels of lighting in the room, the perfectly planned bathroom, the extra hooks for hanging stuff, the superb cleanliness of the entire operation, the magnificiently equipped kitchen...I could go on. Plus the location is SUPERB. Very close to the metro, very close to a dozen grocery stores, very close to the parties, yet, one couldnt tell, because of how calm the street is. Perfect for relaxation and sleeping. Its all 10/10 for everything

Super stay! We were absolutely happy! Our room was spacious, with a balcony, super clean, a lot of space and shelves to put your things on, the shower worked perfectly, hot water, very good pressure, the bed was very comfortable, there was a ventilator installed at the wall that was a good add-on for some of the nights. We did not miss Aircon, but as we closed the balcony doors in the night the ventilator was nice. The hotel itself was a perfect mixture of hotel and hostel. The rooms are absolutely private and quiet, and there was a kitchen, very well equipped, to be used by everybody, two huge refrigerators, there was coffee provided to use with a french press or an espresso device, the people staying at the hotel were international, and it was nice to interact, there is a space to work with tone, we felt absolutely safe in the hotel and in the area, 5 minutes by foot to the metro station Estadion, supermarkets, restaurants, bars. We initially booked for one night and stayed for five. They even offer free laundry service (which we did not use) when you stay a minimum of 5 nights. You can pay cash or with credit card (plus 5 percent in the latter case).

My wife and I stayed at Casa Selva for two weeks and had a lovely stay overall. Angie was an approachable host and was always on-hand to address our queries and needs. The volunteers working with her were great too - shout out to Maelle, Edouard and Bahar! Our room was clean and cosy, and we liked the decor of the entire compound with artful touches all around. The common kitchen also came with everything we needed to prepare our own meals. There are pottery workshops on offer at the property if you're interested too. The location within the Estadio-Laureles neighbourhood is excellent. It was a short walk to the Estadio metro station, as well as Calle 70 with bars and restaurants. There are also at least two supermarkets nearby too (Jumbo and Exito). Overall, the vibe of the neighbourhood is quite pleasant, and we didn't feel it was noisy despite the property being only a block away from Calle 70.

Everything was great. This was the first place I stayed in in Medellin, and I stayed a few days initially, and after checking out a few other options, I ended up staying for another 2 months!

The lock on the door had issues initially, but it's been fixed quickly and has been working flawlessly.

Casa Selva is a beautiful space created with love. From the first contact you will know that you are (really) welcome :) This feeling can only expands as the days go by and one see what kind of guests it attracts. The energy around is super cheerful, calm and relaxed. I extended my stay, I'm very happy to be here!

Minimal details, typical of having been in operation for a short time (everything was solved immediately). The 70th street is very noisy, that's why I chose the circular ones, which are very close and the best in Laureles.

Casa Selva is one of the best places i have lived at in Colombia. Nearly new and lovely decor. The sister and brother combo who manage the hotel are duolingo and are friendly helpful and attentive to your needs. Close to estadio markets and Cr 70. Is quiet and comfortable.

Great location, close to an area of restaurants and bars as well as the metro, but also a couple blocks off the Main Street so it’s quiet. Clean place, and new construction. Lovely hostess. One of my favorite places I’ve stayed in Colombia
