Unfortunately lets itself down by the area. It is very noisy, constantly loud cars and motorbikes blasting music all hours of the day and night. Weird alarm siren on the roof that goes off randomly every 3 minutes. Also a large water pump outside the front door which makes a loud noise a lot of times throughout the day and night. This is obviously due to the area, but also large gaps in doors and single pane windows do not help keep the noise out.

The cleanliness of the property. Its very clean, very nice, very welcoming, comfortable.

Besides the location being close to a road, the cars passing by at night with loud, the loud motorcycles at night.

It was a good property,good view ,nice space.

A lake of hospitality

The place was great to stay and it was spacious with your own kitchen living room, and outside large veranda. It looks lovely and there's a shop outside. But if you want to explore better rent a car.

Just the area is residential so the noise of early birds (residents) start the day around 6am so if you want to stay and relax until late you cannot.

Nothing was there to like

Property looks good in photos and not in liveable condition. Everything was broken. Toilet not working. Kitchen appliances were in not usable state and proven. Bed mattress springs coming out and pillow were terrible. I had to cancel in one night for three day booking. I will not recommend any one to even book.

The location was awesome! If you want a “home” away from home experience this will provide it for you. The view from the balcony was amazing of the ocean. So peaceful and we saw the stars at night while listening to the ocean😍 the people are so beautiful and they smile greet you and continue to meander along minding their business. We were not stressed about anything at all! It’s called Sunset view which is so aptly named. They have a washing machine on the balcony but no dryer. Most places have no dryer. We didn’t mind that either because it allowed for my husband and I to spend quality time together talking while hanging the clothes on the lines. This was our belated honeymoon. We truly enjoyed our stay! Thank you very much.

Water pressure was a lil low at times but we laughed about it and made it. We couldn’t figure out how the tv worked but still not a negative because we very rarely watch tv here in the USA. It allowed us to communicate with each other more.

The owner never came to meet us. We were welcomed by a tenant from the 1st floor. The beds were terrible. We woke up with sore bodies from sleeping on the broken base boards and worn out mattresses. The coffee table had a broken leg. Only one cooking pot was available. The noise from the dogs, the bikes, and vehicles with extremely heavy sound day and night was not tolerable. Wi fi was very unstable. Water pressure was very low. Public transport was easily accessible.

Every thing was not satisfactory

Presque tout était parfait logement propre agréable et lumineux ,avec une superbe terrasse .

Le logement était top. Très propre et exactement comme sur les photos. Au alentour il ya des arrêts pour aller prendre le bus et on peut randonner facilement.

Ce que j'ai pas aimé c'est que le logement se situe dans un quartier très bruyant du matin au soir. Beaucoup de chiens dans le quartier donc si on est à pieds il faut regarder où on met ses pieds. Dans logement il manque un peu de marmites pour ceux qui veulent cuisiner et qui sont là pour assez longtemps.

The photos are not misleading. They match the property. The two-bedroom appartment is clean and modern and has all the facilities one needs for a nice stay - kitchen utensils, bedsheets/blankets, towels, toilet paper, soap, TV, AC, and many more. On top of that, it is spacious and well-decorated. The terrace is huge; it has a nice view, especially when the sun sets. The hosts are nice, helpful and responsive.

It was not easy to locate the property; the address given was not precise. The hosts could be more organised. The owner visited me without letting me know in advance. When he knocked, I had to get out of the shower, get into a dressing gown and open the door to talk to him. It is important to call or text the customer and agree on an appropriate meeting time convenient to both parties. The most annoying issue was water flow and pressure in the shower. The day I arrived, water would flow during 4-5 mins and stop. It would flow again after half an hour or so. I informed the hosts; immediate actions were taken and the problem was solved the next day.

The warm welcome of the owner and he is a very comprehensive person.

It was very well presented. It was very good value for money. It’s the best accomodation for the cheapest price in Mauritius. If you are on a budget then this is the best place to go to. Just make sure you have a car! The apartment is well sized for 4 people. The place next door makes very good food at very cheap prices at night. Supermarkets and ATMs are close if you drive. They let you park the car inside the gate. The terrace is huge and very beautiful. The host was very nice and helpful. He helped us with anything we needed.
