Cozy Seaside Apartment

Mooi appartement, gezellig terras. Ruime keuken met alles aanwezig en living. 5min van de tram en 10min van de dijk

Jammer dat er geen lift was. Het buiten terras nog wat meer aankleden

Super locatie

Place was clean and felt like home. Instructions were clear

A recently renovated apartment, it is clean, spacious and well furnished. It is close to the seaside, as well as to the coastal tram, although the closest stop was unfortunately closed during our stay.

The staircase is quite narrow making the handling of large luggage quite challenging, especially considering that we had the apartment at the third and top floor.

Everything is as described. Perfect place in an ideal location.

Bedroom was a bit colder but it is not a major concern.

Fijne keuken. Fijne bedden. Leuke tips gekregen!

Locatie was top!

Location is perfect for a beach getaway. Very quiet, residential area. Easy and free parking available close to the apartment. Well stocked supermarket within walking distance. Julie was very flexible accommodating an early check-in and extra bed sheets. She also provided clear instructions and was readily available for any questions and follow-ups. The apartment is modern and is well stocked, equipped with all amenities and kitchenware.

The staircase leading to the apartment is very narrow making it difficult to transport larger and heavy items.

Locatie en ruime kamers, alles voorhanden.

Prachtig, mooi appartement

Weinig zetel voor 5 personen 3de verdieping zonder lift

Nice and modern, nice location.

Not too furnished, we missed a desk and a couple of chairs on the bedrooms

Dat het zeer proper was en ruim

Niets viel tegen

Een mooi appartement met alle faciliteiten. Zeer netjes.

Alles was in orde

Having a parking lot right in front of the house was an undeniable advantage, and I also liked that it was close to the seaside. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything needed for cooking, which I really appreciated since it allowed us to prepare our own meals if we wanted to. The host’s responses were quick both on the check-in day and during our stay.

However, there were a few downsides. As soon as we entered the building, there was a strong, musty smell like that of a damp basement in an old building. A similar smell seemed to come from the bathroom as well. Our accommodation was on the second floor, and the staircase was very narrow—only wide enough for one person to pass at a time. I think it would be quite inconvenient if you had a lot of luggage or a stroller. Another thing I found disappointing was the lack of clear information about waste separation. It would have been nice if detailed recycling instructions were posted on the wall inside the house. I heard that waste sorting is quite strict in Belgium, but there was only one black trash bin without any color-coded bags, which was unfortunate. Also, there were no curtains or blinds on the glass door leading to the living room balcony, so when the indoor lights were on, everything inside was visible from outside. The side window in the living room also had no curtain, which was another drawback. Lastly, at night, there was a rattling noise coming from somewhere near the room with the bunk bed on the second floor. If you’re sensitive to noise, it might be difficult to get a good night’s sleep because the sound continued throughout the night.

Tout

Rien

Gastheer en -vrouw reageren erg snel. Erg ruim en sfeervol ingericht. Fijne douche. Faciliteiten aanwezig.

Mooi appartement ,alles was aanwezig

Perfect location for a small weekend getaway. Centrally located to many restaurants and amenities for our needs. Dog-friendly, so we didn't have to leave ours behind. Clear instructions to get in/out of the building. Reserved parking in advance with the host to accommodate our rental van. Overall, we loved the minimalistic furniture and the cleanliness of the apartment.

Unfortunately, even with the screened doors, we had many mosquitoes come in. We have many bug bites from our stay.

Great location, lovely clean and modern apartment with very helpful owners and excellent communication

When it was windy, there was an unexplained banging noise, which kept us awake

The property is very comfortable and modern looking. Cleaverly furnished, everything you need for a great stay. The owners were amazing and accommodating. Recommend 100%!

Nothing

The coordination for arrival and entry, the space, and the apartment’s equipment.

There was no microwave. The stairs were somewhat narrow to the top floor.

The apartment was large, spacious, clean, and bright. The walk to the beach was also very short, and the apartment is located in a very quiet residential area. It was great that my dog (a Golden Retriever) was allowed to come along—even without an extra fee!

A minor downside was that the bath towels had a slightly musty smell.

The apartment and all furniture are of high quality and all was in excellent condition, very modern and spacious. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was very well equipped, the free coffee capsules were appreciated. We liked the location a lot, 5min walk from the beach but in a calm neighbourhood. You can park the car on the streets but pay attention to the signs since some streets are paying or for inhabitants only. We’ll come back next year !

Adorable apartment. Everything was delightful and we enjoyed how neat the place is kept.

There was nothing to dislike about the place.

Location, clean and very well taken care of. Provided all we needed.

We had a wonderful stay at this accommodation! The 85 square meter apartment was beautifully decorated and had a fully equipped, modern kitchen that made our stay very comfortable. Everything was new and tastefully furnished. The location was perfect, with the „kusttram“ stop just 250 meters away and Mariakerke Bad beach only about 500 meters from the apartment. This made it easy for us to explore the area and enjoy the beach. Overall, we had an excellent experience and comfort. The hosts of the apartment Julie and Bryan, were very accommodating, kind, and always helpful. Thank you very much!
