Good value, only 10min walk to busstation which makes Dambula, Sigirya and Polonnaruwa easily accessible. Included water boiler and tea/sugar packets

Neighbourhood dogs are prone to barking so not recommended if you are easily scared by dogs. But they don’t do anything so you’ll manage ;)

The bed was surprisingly comfortable, the space was larger than I expected (with a living room / small kitchen area including a fridge) and the staff were helpful, responsive and kind. Perfect location for the tourist attractions in the area. The fridge worked well and having a kitchen area was a real benefit, considering the price.

There were bugs and the AC didn't work perfectly (old and noisy), but the host warned us about the bugs and they are natural in the location. It would have been great to have a proper blanket and a few more glasses / cups and cutlery in the room. That said, for the price the room and facilities were really good.

La cercanía del propietario, Indika, la excelente ubicación y el buen desayuno hicieron que nuestra estancia fuera muy agradable. Además, ofrecen la posibilidad de alquilar moto directamente con ellos, lo que facilita mucho moverse por la zona. En general, nos pusieron todo muy fácil desde el primer momento. La habitación es muy bonita y tiene espacio más que suficiente para dos personas. Sin duda repetiríamos. Además, Indika cocina un desayuno muy bueno; de hecho, nos quedamos con ganas de hacer también su cooking class.

Las instalaciones están espectaculares, nos quedamos en una villa con cocina y salón de estar, la cocina completa con calentador de agua y una bandeja con café, leche y té, en un entorno lleno de vegetación que hace sentir en la misma selva. Indika el dueño y guía, desde la llegada nos recogió en la estación de bus, sin pedírselo, con él hicimos todas las excursiones. Sè encargó de todo, sin costo alguno, gran persona, amable y atento hasta el último detalle, nos tenia botellas de agua cada vez que llegábamos de las excursiones hasta nos invitó a unos helados después de bajar de la roca del León. Sin duda el mejor guía, nos hizo todo muy fácil. Nos llevo a sitios locales, vimos un atardecer súper bonito en el Lago más grande de Sri Lanka. Comida súper abundante y deliciosa, desayunos, almuerzo y cenas. Todo espectacular. Repetiremos seguro. Gracias por todo.

Ihmiset olivat ystävällisiä ja Indika (isäntä) suositteli aktiviteetteja ja antoi budjettimatkailijalle hyviä vinkkejä aktiviteettien suhteen. Suomalaiseen sydämeen sopi mainiosti se ettei mitään tekemistä tuputettu vaan sai rauhassa miettiä mihin haluaa osallistua. Varasin vahingossa edellisen yöni majapaikkani (eri paikasta) ilman ilmastointia ja Indikan kautta sain ilmastoinnillisen huoneen onnistumaan hyvin lyhyellä varoajalla. Lyhyestä varoajasta huolimatta sain sen mitä halusinkin eli puhtaat lakanat, lämpimän suihkun ja viileän yön. Aamiainen oli monipuolinen ja maistuva. Edellisenä iltana söimme myös hyvän illallasen ja teimme lisukkeeksi yhdessä paikallisten kanssa rutia. Asunnon hinta/laatusuhde oli loistava.

Siamo stati accolti benissimo, il gestore é sempre stato molto gentile e disponibile verso tutte le nostre richieste, ci ha consigliato le attività nei dintorni e aiutato a pianificarle mettendosi inoltre a disposizione come driver per l’intera durata del nostro soggiorno. L’alloggio é pulito e i pasti sono molto buoni e tipici dello Sri Lanka. La zona é molto tranquilla e priva di rumori che possano disturbare la notte. Eccellente rapporto qualità prezzo e posizione ottimale per visitare Sigirya, Dambulla, Minnerya e Polonnaruwa. Ci ha inoltre fortemente consigliato di visitare Wilpattu e ci ha organizzato il safari, non potevamo fare scelta migliore.

Clean and comfortable room with all the amenities. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful in planning local tours and activities. The resort is conveniently located to check out the sights. Fantastic kitchen with authentic Sri Lankan food.

Lo mejor de nuestra estancia fue, sin duda, el anfitrión. Siempre atento y dispuesto a ayudar en todo momento, nos facilitó la llegada, nos dio recomendaciones excelentes y se aseguró de que no nos faltara nada. Su amabilidad hizo que nuestra experiencia fuera aún más agradable. ¡Muy recomendable!
