The staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was of a good size and the beds were very comfortable.

There's nothing I found unlikable about this venue.

Welcoming staff, lovely bar area, very clean and tidy, large selection of drinks, good pool table, close to mainline station.

Single glazed windows, slightly damaged, made the outside noise on the front a little uncomfortable to sleep with. Kitchen was closed so no food available which was ashame because the menu is impressive and the dining area is lovely.

Right next to West Byfleet station. Room was quiet until the neighbouring room slammed their door at 3am grrr.

Carpets are a bit shabby, room fan has no front cover, flat roof outside window at rear is covered in rubbish.

Rooms very spacious, beds comfortable. Towels lovely and fresh with complementary shower wash and cream. Reasonable price for one night's stay.

Television a bit small and channels very limited. Could do with a descaler for the kettle as it had hard water scale which I had to give the kettle a good clean out before use. Nowhere to put toothbrush and toothpaste in the bathroom or shower gel. Check in time quite late, 4pm and early check out time 10am. We had to check in after 9pm after having dinner first with family. Lucky we are only using room for visiting family in area.

Limited facilities as one bathroom was out of use. Room was very warm due to warm weather and no fan. No plug sockets by the bed so couldn't use lamp for reading at night.

I spent only 1 night out of the intended 4 at this property as it was around 9pm when i arrived after along day of travelling otherwise i would not have spend even 1 night at this location the next day i was moved to an acceptable clean location 20 miles away which incurred additional travel costs to my work location due to the issues i encountered listed below. Room - bed had what looked loke a blood spot stain on the bed sheet. duvet was old and yellowing , duvet cover was a double sheet which had been sewn to create a duvet cover, unacceptable for any hotel/inn No headboard on bed and the wall where the bed was located was dirty. when i moved the bed away from the dirty wall i was greeted by 2 bedbug traps and a peanut, proving they had not bothered to clean this room adequately. only 1 plus socket which was overloaded by using a cube style extension with an additional extension plugged into it for the coffee machine and lamp none of these products were pat tested. Temperature of the room was around 30degrees. when i requested a fan was told there were none to give, no air con in room. shared kitchen - lino was torn , fridge was dirty shared bathroom - shower was disgustingly dirty with hairs left in the shower tray, this had clearly not been cleaned for a while with soap scum and i dread to think what other bacteria was lurking there, could not use this facility, spare toilet roll looked like it was a left over from world war 2. After the bar restaurant closed the only way to exit was out the back door past their large refuse bins this was not a nice area to have to walk out of. Would not recommend this to any other traveller as the room did not resemble in anyway the pictures supplied on your website. please contact me ASAP to arrange the refund and at that point i will supply images of this accommodation

The young barman very helpful, kindly organised for me to leave🚴‍♂️ in my room Room was value for money, and had a very good meal at the pub

Only criticism was people outside the pub until late,gone 12 , also The guy who delivers the beer was there early just before 7,ok for me ,but someone wanting a lay in not good

Friendly staff

Ive stayed here many times. Its so handy for the train. It has a great bar area with nice drinks and food. The bar staff are great, special mention to Logan who made me feel very welcome. Clean room and spotless ablutions. Nice hot shower. If youre there on a Wednesday why not take part in the excellent quiz with the friendly locals.

The cleaner! She knocked on my door at 09.36 asking me what time im checking out and then tersely said make sure youre out by 11am. I know checkout is 11am, I was told that and thats why I set my effing alarm for 10.30. She shouldn't be knocking on the effing door waking me up. Ive paid good money for this room so I want to make the most of it. She didn't even say good morning back when I did to her. She just gave me a dirty look as if to say, huh, ive got to wait till 11 to clean your room. She needs to learn some effing manners and timekeeping. I want to stay again because apart from this unfortunate incident I had a wonderful time.

Location has been a major factor as a relative lives close by and the train station allows easy access to the hotel. Evening meals were very good and the lounge had a convivial atmosphere.

We have stayed at "The Station" on a number of occasions given its location etc. However the upstairs communal kitchen have been effectively removed, thus making simple meals impossible to prepare. A big disappointment. Also, the TVs in two of our rooms did not work properly.

Would have appreciated air conditioning. The internet was very patchy. But staff was very friendly and helpful. Looking forward to staying there again. The location was good for what I needed.

The bar staff refused to accept Scottish banknotes. I thought this attitude had long since gone but no. I did not like the shared bathroom. I knew when I booked that that was the case but for someone with prostrate issues it was not great.

Lovely location and lovely staff

The staff member was welcoming. Pub was lovely and variety of drinks on offer was good.

The room we stayed in was very basic. I had to move furniture around to be able to plug the tv in. There was also no option of a double bed. Was also difficult to locate the kitchen area we could access. Would have been nice to have access to drinking water in the room. Maybe a couple of bottles of water left in room.

Robe hook on back of door was loose and unusable. Electric fan in cupboard partly broken but just usable.

The station was literally outside the railway station so very convenient for us as we had a family event next to the station. The location was prefect for us.

Was hard to keep out noise as building is old and no double glazing. However very little they can do about this without major investment.

Staff very hopefully and welcoming food was great on Saturday but Sunday Sunday roast only and the chef went home to early .5.00

Отзывчивый и лояльный персонал. Кровати в номере удобные, белье хорошее и одеяла тоже. В отзывах на эту гостиницу люди жаловались на шум из паба. Но, когда жили мы, было тихо. У нас был твин номер с собственным душем и туалетом.

Раньше в кухне на этаже была микроволновка и тостер. Теперь там только холодильник.

Dirty, noisy, unhelpful. Had to keep looking for bar staff to check me in as they seemed more interested in serving drinks. Back of toilet hadn’t been cleaned. Beds very soft soft, the noise from the pub was awfully loud Water pressure from cold tap terrible. Hard to get any water out to wash hands, fill kettle etc.

De locatie was prima achter het station. Maar de zaak zelf is erg vervallen. Naast ons waren ze het dak aan het repareren, daardoor veel geklapper van het plastic. Kamers waren niet heel erg schoon. Personeel was super aardig

The cleaner is rude, was just packing up and was literally minutes past checkout and kept hassling me. The more you hassle me the more you interrupt me being able to leave.

Distance to bathroom

The staff were very friendly and checked several times that I was okay. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. There were plenty of teabags and enough milk, which was good in the morning. Being so close to the train station is very handy and it is good value for money.

No breakfast but you know that in advance. A few biscuits in the room would be good though and helpful as you do miss breakfast!

Subject: Urgent Complaint Regarding Service Quality Hello, I have been a regular client of The Station for four years now, and I have already made several bookings with you. However, I have recently noticed a worrying change in the team, along with a clear decline in the quality of service. Several issues are concerning: The heating in the rooms no longer works, The kitchen is often closed, Breakfast has been discontinued, And, most importantly, there is a complete lack of communication. Last night, I was locked outside when I returned around 1:30 a.m.: no one had provided me with the access code for the back door to enter the building. I called the number listed on the reservation four times, and each time I reached only a voicemail. As a result, I had to take a taxi and stay somewhere else at my own expense. This situation is unacceptable and reflects a clear lack of professionalism.

Staff were friendly. Location was good for what we needed.

Room was shabby and unclean - the carpet was grubby and there was thick dust on the pipes in the ensuite.

The room is very basic and dated. Although I knew it was a shared bathroom, I wasn’t expecting 1 shower for all rooms to share. There were separate toilets but there was nowhere to wash your hands after.

Room appeared to be freshly decorated. Was light and airy.

Licht und Boiler im Bad werden durch Ziehen an Schnüren eingeschaltet, es ist aber nicht klar, welche Schnur wofür ist, und man muss ziemlich heftig ziehen. Ich musste zweimal nachfragen, bevor ich warm duschen konnte.

The only bad part was thay done away with the guest kitchen. Namely microwave bread and milk.

The staff were friendly and tried to help.

The first room we were given had no light in the bathroom, so we had to move. The second room initially seemed fine, but later I discovered that only the main light worked. Since I was traveling with my 8-year-old, I had hoped to read quietly while she slept, but without a smaller bedside light I had no choice but to go to bed at the same time. Unfortunately, I couldn’t sleep anyway because the noise from the bar was very loud, and I could clearly hear conversations from my room. On top of that, the WiFi didn’t work until the next morning.

Very convenient place for us to stay as we needed something close by to the station and also to a place we needed to have good access to. Very warm and courteous staff both at the check in Ms. Lisa and at the Pub. Loved the vibes at the Pub.

Odd hour check in can be a bit hassle but if you let them know in advance they are pretty accommodating !
