Reviewed Aug 21, 2026It has 2 terraces that look over almost all of Tetouan, you can see the sunrise from one side, and the sunset from the other. It has clean bathrooms and showers, the whole house gets cleaned every single day, it has a couch space and a traditional salon in addition for socializing, the host is super duper friendly and welcoming, and to my luck I met amazing people there with different nationalities, and became so comfortable with each other to the point that I felt like I was hanging with my cousins at my uncle’s house lol, we even organized a movie night at the terrace, and enjoyed it to the fullest, I feel blessed that I met such amazing people. In addition, the bed and the sheets were all clean, and the curtain helps with privacy, as well as the locker was useful to keep my cherished stuff, which I didn’t even use much later because it felt very safe there lol. For the safety and calmness part, as a female solo traveler, I felt very safe there, and the room was so quiet, even though people socialize in the rooftop or stay up late, you don’t hear them at all from the dorm, which is not the case for other hostels that I have been in. For the available Free amenities, you got much toilet paper, a bottle of shower and a bottle of gel wash available in each toilet, which there were two, but they were more than enough for all of us, also an iron and ironing board. For non free things, you gotta pay 10 dh to use the kitchen, 20 dh to use the washing machine, 10 dh for the washing machine detergent, and 10 dh for a new 1 L bottle of water, 10 dh for a rented towel, which I paid for all of it gladly except the towel and the kitchen use because I am not gonna cook in my HOLIDAY.
The use of the kitchen and the washing machine is paid, I think it should be stated clearly on the site, but that is also a smart move, otherwise it will get dirty 24/7 by irresponsible people.

The staff were friendly and welcoming, and everything was well organized. I felt comfortable throughout my stay and would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a nice place to stay. Przy łóżkach są zasłony więc nawet dzielony pokój zapewnia prywatność. Czysto i cicho. Wspaniały widok z tarasu. Dobre śniadanie podawane na tarasie. Spokoja okolica, właściciel przesyła filmik jak dojść do obiektu - super pomocne dla mnie .

Reviewed May 21, 2026El dueño es encantador y ayuda en todo. El lugar es privilegiado, en medio de la Medina tradicional y auténtica. Las vistas desde la terraza son muy bellas. Volvería una y otra vez a este lugar, sabiendo y conociendo que hay que compartir baño, que es un barrio de Medina sin lujos, etc El dueño y el lugar te transmiten toda la paz del mundo. El desayuno es simple pero muy sabroso. Además está muy cerca de la estación de buses.
Todo me gustó. Pero hay que tener en cuenta que los baños son compartidos, que la habitación no tiene vistas, pues está en la medina, que hay que subir escaleras estrechas, etc. Para mí eso no es importante, pero hay que saberlo.

Estuvo mandándonos mensajes con indicaciones y nos hizo un recibimiento muy amable, ayudándonos en algunas dudas que tuvimos sobre Tetuán. Nos gustó mucho ver la distribución de una casa típica por dentro. El té de bienvenida y el desayuno muy buenos y la terraza muy cuidada.

The dorm is only separated from the entrance / main room by a curtain. It is loud.

Reviewed Apr 20, 2026Ok size dorm, with big lockable cupboard. OK bed (sheets are provided, contrary to another review). Big lockers, charge point for each bed, some hooks to hang clothes. There are about 3 private rooms, plus the 4 bed dorm, so could be 10 people sharing one clean but very small bathroom on that floor, plus another bathroom upstairs. Great kitchen and wifi The vibe is halfway between a homeshare and a standard hostel. Good location in the labyrinthine Medina. So access is bit tricky and, as in any Medina stay, involves some stairs. 20 minutes walk from CTM station. Other guests with cars said there is secure parking fairly close. Overall, good value for money.
No curtains on dorm beds. Bathroom provision not great. Otherwise pretty good.

Als ik al iets moet noemen dan is het dat ik 1 andere gast heb gezien. Om deze reden geef ik geen 10. Maar de vraag is hoezeer dit in de invloedsfeer van het hostel ligt. Ik vond het ook heerlijk rustig. Tijd en ruimte voor mezelf.

The only problem i found was that water was cold shower. No toiletries, only hand soap.

Reviewed Mar 30, 2026Das Casa Marwan liegt sehr zentral in Tétouan nahe dem Bab Oqla. Der Gastgeber Marwan ist ausgesprochen freundlich und zuvorkommend und kümmert sich gerne um seine Gäste. Er hat es uns an nichts fehlen lassen und uns gute Tipps geben. Das Zimmer war ansprechend und sauber. Der Blick von der Dachterrasse ist ein Traum! Für 10 Dirham kann man sich selbst Kaffee machen. Such andere Snacks sind für einen kleinen Betrag zu kaufen, z.B. Orangensaft, Cola, Chips etc. Man merkt, dass Marwan gerne Gäste empfängt. Und er macht ein liebevoll zubereitetes Frühstück.
Die Casa Marwan ist eine einfache, saubere Unterkunft. Uns hat das Preis-Leistungsverhältnis sehr gut gefallen

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026Court séjour d’une nuit, tout s’est très bien passé, Marwan est gentil et accueillant. L’emplacement est très bien car il est dans la médina mais au calme. On peut se garer facilement dans les rues plus bas. Petit-déjeuner copieux et terrasse avec très belle vue. Je conseille des bouchons à oreilles pour les personnes sensibles au bruit car toutes les chambres donnent sur les parties communes. Nous recommandons !

Reviewed Dec 10, 2025La atención de los anfitriones miy bien, estuvieron pendientes para nuestra llegada y que no nos extraviaramos, mandaron mensaje con las indicaciones precisas y un video de la ubicación desde la puerta de entrada así como la ubicación del parking más cercano y los precios del mismo y también a nuestra llegada nos dieron un té de bienvenida. El cuarto era pequeño pero con cama cómoda para descansar.
El baño tal vez por el espacio reducido tiene una mala distribución y al bañarse se moja todo, es difícil poner la ropa en algún sitio para evitar que se humedezca.

Pas du tout adapté au vélo et il y a un parking à 5min à pied on pensait suite aux échanges que c’était compris dans le prix mais en fait ça ajoute plus de 10% pour des bikes donc plutôt prendre directement un hébergements plus cher qui accepte les vélos Bruyant et douche tiède

Reviewed Nov 28, 2025The rooftop terrace has great views. The place is humble but very clean and convenient. Nice vibe with other travelers at the dorm. Location, slightly difficult to find but convenient inside the old Medina. Lockers in the room.
The breakfast was very simple (but included). Charging 10dh/session for using the kitchen...
