Lapland winter cottage

It was a very nice stay! Overall as described but much better in person and very cosy. Every amenities were nicely thought. It was clean and confortable bed.

The bed was a bit small for two people

What can I say, this stay was excellent. The host was so lovely and responsive and the apartment was very well set up, all of the tea, coffee, etc was available as well as toiletries and even an airfryer! It was perfect we would stay again thank you!

Idéalement placé pour découvrir Rovaniemi

Nous avons aimé l’emplacement. Et l’appartement était très beau.

Il était dit sur l’annonce qu’il y avait une kitchenette. Nous voulions juste cuire des pâtes et pas de plaques ! Un Airfryer, ce n’est pas une kitchenette. Nous avons du manger dehors, ce n’était pas prévu. De plus le canapé du salon était vraiment très limité. Si il n’avait pas eu marquer kitchenette, nous serions allés ailleurs.

A huge thank you to Tiia for her kindness. The cottage is beautiful, very cozy, and just a 10-minute drive from Santa Claus Village. Although it doesn't have a full kitchen, it does have an air fryer, toaster, fridge and others and it is well equiped so it's more than enough. The floor in the bathroom and the shower (which is huge) is always nice and warm. We also booked the outdoor fire (€40—which we thought was a great price and highly recommend); Tiia set everything up beautifully and included some hot chocolate and pastries. Both the kids and we loved it. We recommend it 100% for a stay in Rovaniemi.

Die Unterkunft war klein aber sehr liebevoll und detailreich gestaltet 😊 wir haben uns dadurch sehr wohlgefühlt. Es gab einen Wasserkocher, Kaffeemaschine, Mikrowelle, Toaster sowie eine Heißluftfritteuse, was uns vollkommen ausgereicht hat. Ja, für die Sauna muss man pro Nutzung 30 € zahlen, finde ich aber nicht schlimm, da die meisten anderen Unterkünfte inkl Sauna deutlich teurer gewesen sind. Alles in allem hat uns die Unterkunft sehr gut gefallen und wir werden sie weiterempfehlen und gerne wieder kommen 😍

Very homely and welcoming accommodation with lovely decorations and lots of thoughtful details. I love the lit lanterns on the stairs, the chocolates on the bed, the delicious biscuits and so much more.

There was nothing I didn't like. The only thing I missed was a hob, but I completely understand why it is not available. There was an airfryer a microwave a kettle, toaster and a fridge.

Tout est vraiment super , l'endroit est idéal pour aller a rovaniemie, le lieux est magique avec toutes ces lumières. Et les petites attentions de l'hôte sont vraiment gentilles.

It was amazing! It looks better in real life than in the pictures.

The house is nice and cosy. The garden is great for the kids to play. It is a 20min walk to the city center.

The cottage is close to the center by car. It is very warm, cozy, and clean! We were with a child who received a welcome gift, which made a great impression on us! The cottage also has a sauna and a fire pit in the yard, with safety considerations for children as well.

There is only one sink, which is located in the bathroom, and there is no TV.

Cosy and warm and beautifully decorated. Had useful facilities including fridge and microwave.

You have to pay extra to use sauna and fire pit, when similar properties include this in the price so you can have spontaneous access. Shower went freezing cold on second person. No TV in room. No curtains so very bright from early mornings which woke us up.

It was simple. I liked that the owners had given treats like coffee and choco powder for the non coffee drinkers. Had piparkakku which was delicious. And chocolates and marshmallows for the sweet tooth lovers

Fireplace can be offered for free instead, also we think it is a little overprice for €40.

Very cozy, everything that we needed was there. Shower was lovely, sauna was fabulous and fire pit was amazing. Beds very comfy and it was always warm in the cottage.

It was very cozy and clean. Little cottage with fantastic hosts. You have everything you need for a stay in this cottage. The hosts were very polite and helpful. It was best stay of our life. Everything was 10/10 and we kindly recommend to stay at this beautiful place and more beautiful hosts.

There was enough space for the 3 of us, it was warm and when we entered the cottage we found ginger biscuits and marshmallows and a little activity pack for our child left to welcome us. The hosts also allowed us to leave our luggage at the property after checkout so that we didn’t have to take them around with us while waiting for our evening flight.

We were under the impression that we could use the sauna free of charge but there was an additional charge for this
