Western Wall Essaouira

Goede ligging in medina, vlak bij souks en 5 minuten naar zee. uitstraling riad aan binnenkant is leuk, wij hadden een grote kamer aan het binnenplaatsje, tuinzicht. Mooie kamer. hartelijke ontvangst door Hassan. Hassan en Fatima zijn aardig en behulpzaam, evenals David de manager. Ontbijt op klein dakterras. Bij minder weer en wind op de kamer. Ontbijt is voldoende. Wat meer variatie in broodbeleg bij ontbijt zou welkom zijn!!!!! Maar we hebben een fijn verblijf gehad!!! Merci beaucoup.

Straatje waarin de accommodatie ligt stinkt nog weleens naar kattenpoep. Ik zou als manager laatste stukje goed schoonhouden en aankleden met planten waar katten een hekel aan hebben en/ of wierook laten branden. (Gezien bij andere accommodaties) Een riad is nogal gehorig ivm gebruik van stenen en tegels, en de binnenplaats , dus misschien wat meer kleden op de vloeren. Op dakterras de twee losse zonnebedden vervangen voor aantal makkelijke losse stoelen bij twee tafeltjes. We kregen op 7 nachten een keer vervangingen van handdoeken, of bed een keer is verschoond betwijfel ik. Kamer schoon op het eerste oog, maar niet super schoon.

Excellent séjour à Essaouira ! Le riad est idéalement situé, à deux pas de la plage et du cœur de la médina, tout en étant au calme. Un grand merci à Hassan pour son accueil chaleureux, sa disponibilité et ses conseils précieux qui ont rendu notre séjour encore plus agréable. Le personnel est attentif et toujours prêt à aider. Nous recommandons vivement cet établissement et y reviendrons avec plaisir !

Style très authentique Les recommandations sans fautes et super adaptés

Le petit déjeuner est servi en chambre ou sur le toit avec vue imprenable mais il faut se lever tôt pour avoir la place car il n y a que deux tables Mais ce sera pour une autre fois 🥰

Riad datato e trasandato, monolocale al piano terra con odore di muffa, nonostante gli accordi con il proprietario impossibile fare colazione alle 8, prevista solo alle 9.....

Wir kamen 4 Std. zu früh und wurden sehr herzlich mit Tee und Plätzchen begrüßt. Es war ein Aufenthalt in 1001 Nacht...Exotik, Herzlichkeit, Sonne, gute Küche, alles, um sich in einer Woche maximal zu erholen. Wir träumen schon von einer weiteren Reise und danken Hassan für all sein Entgegenkommen. Unvergesslich!

Literally everything exceeded our expectations at the riad! It's an incredibly beautiful place, with the friendliest and most caring team you will meet. The room was wonderful, with an incredible view over the rooftops towards the sea. The breakfast is amazing and is served with love on the gorgeous roof terrace every morning by Fatima and Hassan (they even got up very early on our last morning to serve us breakfast before our flight!). We found it so hard to leave and hope to be back!

Nous avons adoré l'attention du personnel et nous les remercions sincèrement ! Ils n'hésitent pas à être aux petits soins avec nous comme par exemple nous apporter le petit déjeuner sur la terrasse au dernier étage. Le petit déjeuner est très copieux. La vue sur la mer sur la terrasse est vraiment un plus pendant le petit déjeuner. Hassan est très attentif à notre confort, et nous a servi le déjeuner avant même l'heure prévue car nous partions tôt. Les conseils sont bons sur les activités, spa ,etc.

Je dirais plutôt des bricoles, ça serait un plus si la fenêtre était un peu plus facile d'ouverture et de fermeture afin de bien couper le bruit des mouettes.

Un riad dans la medina mais au calme avec un beau toit terrasse ,proche de la plage , trés propre , avec des hôtes charmants , trés disponibles et prévenants , un excellent petit déjeuner

Der Gastgeber ist sehr freundlich und wenn ich ihn nach etwas gefragt habe, hat er prompt reagiert, er konnte mir bei allem helfen. Eine Sache gab es und er fuhr sofort mit dem Fahrrad los und kaufte das ein, was er brauchte um mir bei meinem Problem zu helfen, das ist mir woanders noch nie passiert.

Das Wetter war ungewöhnlich windig und regnerisch, dafür war die Unterkunft nicht ausgelegt, das heißt die Fenster und die offenen Bereiche. Bei Sonnenschein wiederum sehr angenehm auf der Dachterrasse zu frühstücken.

Spacious rooms, lovely decor. A view of both the courtyard of the building and outside the city wall and the ocean beyond. The sea breeze was perfect for keeping the rooms a good temperature. Breakfast was good and served every morning wherever we wanted it (in our rooms, on the rooftop or in the courtyard).

The staff has been extremely helpful when my wife fell ill. Also, the place is in walking distance to safe public parking and a taxi spot.

L'accueil a été très chaleureux et le lieu sublime. Merci à David pour sa gentillesse. Merci à Fatima et Regraguia pour leur service merci à Hassan pour son énergie son sourire et sa bienveillance. Franchement nous avons rarement sinon jamais etais reçu avec tant de générosité, un shoot émotionnel... Je recommande vivement.

El Riad está extraordinariamente ubicado. Las vistas desde la terraza son espectaculares. David nos ayudó en resolver nuestra comodidad. Hassan muy amable y complaciente y Fátima súper atenta.

La habitación es un poco pequeña. Compensa la vista desde la terraza nada mas salir de la habitación.

The Riad is cute and well decorated. Pleasant rooftop. The staff was responsive.

We had quite a bad experience upon arrival, we could not get inside the Riad - no one was there to greet us and the PIN that was given to us did not work. After that, the room we had reserved was super dirty and still had stuff from the previous guest in the fridge. There was an intense smell of humidity, hair in the sink, dirty mirrors and pee on the toilet seat. We had to get the room cleaned twice and ended up changing bedroom as my husband could not breathe inside the ground floor bedroom.

The riad is very beautiful and located on a quiet street within the medina. It's very peaceful atmosphere! The staff and attentive and prepare wonderful breakfasts for you each morning with a smile. Hassan, who runs the riad, has a heart of gold and made us feel very cared for. There is a lovely terrace on the roof with a view of the city and the sea, as well as an enclosed terrace, where you can have your breakfast. The rooms are very comfortable, cozy, and are decorated beautifully.

I liked everything

We booked this for a one night stopover in Essaouira coming from Marrakech. We stayed in the green room on the top floor. It's a small but beautiful room with a fantastic terrace that looks over towards the sea. . The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful and we had a lovely breakfast on the terrace. Overall a fantastic stay in a great location and amazing value.

Only negative was there was no bathroom door so we each went out on the terrace if the other needed to use the toilet.

Loved the very peaceful ambience. Beautiful terrace. Hosts were great,very attentive. Lovely welcome with mint tea and biscuits 😋 Some areas had sensor lights too which I'm a big fan of.

Nothing major not to like but for such a beautiful place it could step up by adding better local soaps & some shampoo & body wash. There was a small kitchen area but no kettle glasses or cups. Just little things that would go a long way ❤️🙏

Absolutely lovely place. Davide (the owner) met me personally and showed everything. I stayed in green studio at the rooftop so the view was stunnig. The breakfast was very tasty. And it was nice to have a kitchen to make some tea at the evening. Also Davide recommended me some places for a mel and drink and sent very details information about riad in advance.

There is no heating or aircondition with heating options so one morning was really fresh)) But it is riad and medina so you should be prepared for some special conditions there. which is a part of unique experience

Wir hatten einen hervorragenden Aufenthalt im Western Wall Essaouira. Das Zimmer (Apartment 1. Etage) war äußerst geräumig und schön eingerichtet. Das Doppelbett war sehr bequem, die Einzelbetten haben wir nicht genutzt. Das Personal vor Ort war äußerst freundlich und hilfsbereit. Die Unterkunft liegt nah am Parkplatz Bab Marrakech und ist problemlos auch mit Gepäck zu Fuß erreichbar.

David nous a très bien accueilli Le Riad est très bien rénové et très bien situé au calme et très proche d une rue commerçante. Allez y les yeux fermés !

A tastefully, artfully, recently renovated riad. Incredible attention to detail. The apartments are roomy and have windows and shutters (unusual in a typical riad in the medina where rooms are dark as windows face courtyards). Quiet. Very happy with crisp, cotton bedsheets. Slightly off the beaten track, but just four minutes walk to the centre, which is advantageous. Typical Moroccan breakfast served on the roof terrace with splendid views, especially in the morning and at sunset. David is an incredible and attentive host. Arranged a comfortable taxi to the airport.

Amazing place to stay with tons of space. It was initially difficult to find since GPS took us elsewhere but once we arrived the owner David was very friendly, kind and accommodating. He advised us on areas to explore and visit, restaurants to go to etc. The view on rooftop better than pictures, the rooms spacious and clean as well. Everything within walking distance from the Riad. Would definitely stay again
