Reviewed Aug 27, 2026Las instalaciones eran cómodas para dormir y la cocina estaba bien equipada.
Para empezar, cuando llegué al hostel era de noche, así que les escribí primero para preguntar si habría alguien para recibirme. La chica me dijo que sí, que me estaban esperando, pero cuando llegué no había nadie. Llamé al hostel y me dijeron que el chico se había dormido y que enseguida me abrirían. Como tardaban mucho, volví a llamar y esta vez la chica me dijo que el chico había salido a comprar y que ya llegaba. Pasaron unos 15 minutos mientras estuve sola en la calle, de noche, hasta que finalmente llegó el chico a abrirme y me dijo que «había salido a tomar unos drinks». Me pareció una situación de muy poca profesionalidad y bastante incómoda. Todo quedó ahí hasta que hablé con otra chica que estaba hospedada en el hostel y me contó que a ella le había pasado exactamente lo mismo. Por eso, tengan cuidado si llegan de noche a este hostel. Además, las dos tuvimos problemas a la hora de realizar el pago. Nos empezaron a decir que solo se podía pagar en efectivo y nos lo repitieron en varias ocasiones, insistiendo en que realizáramos el pago. En Booking en ningún momento se especificaba que el pago tuviera que hacerse en efectivo, así que yo no llevaba dinero. Finalmente, cuando insistí en que no podía pagar en efectivo, resultó que sí tenían datáfono. En general, el ambiente y la situación fueron muy incómodos. La verdad, no entiendo cómo este hostel tiene una calificación tan alta.

Sehr alt, kleine Zimmer, runtergekommen, geputzt, aber wirkt trotzdem dreckig. Falls man etwas für 1 Nacht sucht, billig, ist es gut - ansonsten würde ich etwas anderes buchen.

Reviewed Jul 16, 2026Das Hostel liegt etwas ausserhalb und ist daher angenehm ruhig. Die Menschen dort waren sehr freundlich und trotz der Sprachbarriere – es wurde kaum Englisch gesprochen – haben wir uns irgendwie verständigen können.
Leider war mein Einzelzimmer jedoch stark verschimmelt, weshalb ich mich dort nicht wohlgefühlt habe. Insgesamt ist die Atmosphäre nett, aber das Zimmer war für mich ein deutlicher Minuspunkt.

Reviewed Jun 1, 2026Nothing special. I'd say nothing to mention here, but to be fair the staff tried to help me when I had an issue in my room.
Regardless of how cheap the price was, this was the worst hostel I've been in my life. Facilities were very old and in a bad condition. Toilet seat was almost broken. My first night there was only one locker left for me and it was broken so I needed someone to leave the next day to use their locker. The blanket had a hole in it (come on by some new ones!!! The mattress in my upper bunk bed was really bad.

Reviewed May 25, 2026Not a welcoming vibe at all. This was the only hostel in seven months of traveling where I was treated this way. After returning from a full-day excursion to the waterfall, I was blamed for the hostel’s disorganization and asked to remove my belongings immediately at 7 pm because the host and staff had failed to block my single room, despite me confirming my extension twice with two different employees the previous day. The way the situation was handled was extremely rude and unprofessional.

Reviewed Apr 9, 2026Das Personal war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Es wurde sogar extra der Check In mitten in der Nacht ermöglicht, da unser Flug erst sehr spät ankam. Wir hatten jederzeit einen Ansprechpartner. Die Lage war gut. Zu Fuß war man schnell im Zentrum und an der Haltestelle für den Bus zu den Iguazu Falls.
Die Zimmer entsprachen nicht den Bildern von Booking. Die Zimmer waren sehr klein, einfach und es fehlten Ablagemöglichkeiten für Kleidung etc . Außer dem Bett und Nachttisch gab es nichts... platzbedingt

Reviewed Feb 10, 2026Todo! La ubicación es perfecta, a solo unos minutos del supermercado y de una de las paradas de autobús que te llevan a las cataratas. Las habitaciones están muy bien y limpian todos los días. Nadia y las otras mujeres voluntarias son muy simpáticas y te resuelven cualquier duda :) Además hay piscina y un jardín/terraza muy agradable.
Nada. Volvería sin dudarlo.

No salía agua caliente. Alquilamos toallas que no estaban en buenas condiciones. La cerradura de la puerta del baño no funcionaba bien. Sin embargo la recepcionista fue muy amable con nosotros. Creo que deberían evaluar lo que ofrecen en relación a lo que cobran.

Reviewed Jul 29, 2025I loved staying in this place! Firstly staff were so helpful and kind. They always cared guests, answered my questions, and gave me informations about Puerto Iguazu. It's located in quiet area. Bus stops for Puerto Iguazu are 5min walk for local bus or 15min walk for big bus station (Rio Uruguay etc) Room was homey. facilities were a bit old but for me no problem at all. I wanna come back with good-Spanish next time! hehe:)

El baño siempre estaba con popo, no se si no servia el desagüe pero siempre tenía que jalar yo la palanca antes de usarlo. Las veces que dije que estaba sucio fueron a arreglarlo pero no era confortable ver las heces de los otros inquilinos. No me gusto que no tenían toallas para secar el cuerpo y que no dieran jabón y/o algún artículo para asear el cuerpo.

No hot water after sunset. Given that outside temperature is lower than 10 degrees Celsius. Shared bathroom is smelly. The bed is broken and I can hardly sleep. The most uncomfortable bed I have ever slept .

Photos are fake!!!! The most broken hostel I have ever stayed. We booked a double room but there isn’t even a hanger inside the room. The shared bathroom is smelly all the time. The kitchen is very small and can’t cook properly. Nothing shown in the photos is real. The door of our room is broken and i doubt the safety. Too many volunteers ‘working’ there but they are only the obstacle to customers. Be Careful! The owner will charge 10% more if pay by credit card. It is unfair!!!!!! Be careful!!!!! The hostel will cut off hot water after sunset!!! I have no hot water when in the middle of my shower.
