Reviewed Oct 20, 2025Sehr nette Gastgeberin, wir konnten sogar unsere Wäsche waschen lassen während wir eine Tour in Lesotho gemacht haben. Gut ausgestattete, tolle Hütte, mit Gasheizung für kühlere Abende und Heizdecken im Bett. Fußläufig zum Supermarkt. Definitiv wieder beim nächsten Mal in Underberg!

The hosts were incredibly kind and helpful, making us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. It was amazing value for money, and we’re already dreaming of our next visit.

Reviewed Jul 1, 2025Our hostess was warm, friendly and welcoming, and the bed was comfy with very cosy blankets to keep us warm. Gas heaters made up for the fact that there are slight gaps around the door, which allows the winter chill into the unit.

Reviewed Jun 18, 2025Location is very close to the town of Underberg. Gas heater and electric blankets kept us warm. A tv with Netflix and YouTube was a nice surprise, was good to relax and watch tv after a long day exploring. Electric and gas kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows.
Location was at someone's house, the owners house iterally a few meters away. Owners dogs can be a bit noisy, barking day and night (not constantly but it is a factor). Gas shower can be a bit difficult to get the right temperature, was scalding hot or freezing cold if you don't get it right.

Reviewed May 24, 2025Absolutely great value for money! The cabin was spotlessly clean—warm, cozy and well‑equipped with everything I needed. The bed and blankets were very comfortable, making for a restful night’s sleep. It felt very safe, which made it an ideal place for a solo traveler like me. The location is perfect—right in the heart of Underberg, with quick access to Sani Pass tours, Maloti Drakensberg Park, Silverstream and other attractions. An added bonus: laundry is done for free if you stay two nights or more! Highly recommended for a relaxing, well‑located and secure getaway.
Honestly, there was nothing I didn’t like—I loved everything about my stay!

Reviewed May 2, 2025It was very beautiful and so comfortable with free WI Fi which we didn't expect. Tea , coffee in the kitchen and an extremely comfy bed and pillows with an electric blanket. All so clean and neat with a little braai area too.

Reviewed Mar 16, 2025Neatness,lot of space all rooms are big enough no congestion.Provision of tea stuff,Kitchen has all facilities .Wifi & quietness.I was also offered a shelter for my car.Outside door braai facilities.The price we paid was too little for the rooms & facilities available.
Weather was bad but there was no heater & tv.But we will come back soon.

Reviewed Jul 29, 2024The place looks nice, and it is a nice spot to be for a night or two. There is on site parking and you do have your own little space and freedom. The bed was comfortabel, a much needed electric blanket was provided. The owner was friendly and happy to help where possible. And the place was clean.
We were there during winter and it was incredibly cold. Although a gas heater was provided, this wasn’t sufficient to get the place warm and cosy. Due to the lack of insulation, there is barely a difference to the temperature outside. Efforts were made to heat the place, but at no avail. Our cheese and juice were frozen at breakfast.
