Reviewed May 19, 2026Alojamento bem localizado, perto de restaurantes, praias e supermercados e a pouca distâncias de grandes centros. Os quartos eram espaçosos e o pequeno almoço era muito bom. A anfitriã era muito simpática e atenciosa.
Nos dois primeiros dias não conseguimos tomar banho de água quente. A anfitriã tentou alterar o sistema de modo a aquecer a água, mas em vão. Para o preço necessitava de ter um sistema de água quente melhor.

There is no windows except door to pool. Bathroom can be looked after bit more like shelves in shower place.

Sehr einfache Ausstattung der Zimmer - für den Preis aber völlig in Ordnung, Strand ist zwar fußläufig aber mit Restaurants zugepflastert, direkter Zugang zum Strand schwierig aber mit einer kurzen Tuk-Tuk Fahrt sind gute Badestrände schnell erreichbar.

La responsable très insistante à chaque fois qu’on lui demande quelque chose pour être payée immédiatement. Pas d’eau chaude. Beaucoup de moustiques à proximité de la piscine. On ne nous a pas proposé le petit déjeuner Sri lankais.

Place is really cozy with good energy! :) Location perfect, close to the beach, restaurants but one the other hand there is very quite, not busy street or train around etc perfect to relax.. Very friendly and nice staff and owners :) Good room with everything you need to feel comfortable. Great value for this price I am very happy to find this place and I will be back for sure!! :)))

Reviewed Feb 28, 2026Very clean room with excellent furnishing (comfy bed, great bed lightning, AC controller directly above headboard of bed + controls for ceiling fan), also a, extremly welcoming and kind hotel staff. The breakfast was so delicious and the location is perfect. It is also very quiet and not that busy. 15 minutes to the bus stop to Weligama / Mirissa and 3 Minutes to the nearest beach. Many good restaurants/ bars in this area. One of the best accommodations in Mediha. We will visit again.

Reviewed Feb 24, 2026Unser Aufenthalt im Bienvenido Cozy Madiha war etwas ganz Besonderes. Der Service war wirklich super, super, super gut – so herzlich, aufmerksam und persönlich, wie man es nur selten erlebt. Die Menschlichkeit und Wärme des gesamten Teams haben uns am meisten beeindruckt. Man fühlt sich ehrlich willkommen und bestens umsorgt. Der Pool war jederzeit sehr sauber und gepflegt – perfekt zum Entspannen. Auch die Nähe zum Strand ist ideal, sodass man Meer und Pool wunderbar kombinieren kann. Ein absolutes Highlight war das Essen: Das Frühstück war sehr lecker und frisch zubereitet, mit der Wahl zwischen einem kontinentalen oder einem traditionellen sri-lankischen Frühstück – beides hervorragend. Auch alle anderen Speisen und Getränke im Hotel waren richtig gut. Besonders die Eiskaffees und Shakes waren fantastisch! Dazu kommt ein wirklich sehr gutes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis – Qualität und Geschmack stimmen hier absolut. Auch das Spa war sehr empfehlenswert und rundete den Aufenthalt perfekt ab. Was am Ende aber am meisten bleibt, ist diese besondere Herzlichkeit. Wir würden jederzeit wiederkommen und können das Hotel von Herzen empfehlen.

There was a big party with loud music near the hotel so we heard everything until midnight. If people talk too loud in the corridor we can hear everything too.

Na miejscu usługa pralni (za opłatą)- pranie czyste i pachnące. Przemiły personel i bardzo pomocny. Lokalizacja- w pobliżu bary, restauracje, sklepiki. Możliwość plażowania i surfingu.

Reviewed Feb 11, 2026Das Personal ist wundervoll, freundlich und sehr hilfsbereit! Sie geben sich sichtlich Mühe und tun alles dafür, dass man sich wohlfühlt. Die Lage des Hotels ist super und nur wenige Minuten vom Strand und diversen Restaurants entfernt. Wir hatten das sehr geräumige Familienzimmer mit drei Betten und mehr als genug Platz. Beim Frühstück hat man die Wahl zwischen Continental oder Sri Lanka Breakfast, beides war gut und immer ausreichende Portionen. Der Pool ist schön, wenn auch etwas kalt, da er so gut wie keine Sonne abbekommt.
Die ein oder andere Ecke des Hotels könnte etwas aufgeräumter oder besser instand sein, unser Bad entsprach zum Beispiel nicht denen auf den Anzeigefotos.

Détail minime, le bruit du ventilateur et de la Climatisation qui fonctionnait mal.

It felt so cramped. There is a space about 3ft between the room door to the pool. If someone is outside their room it’s difficult to walk past (to get to rooms you have to walk past others room) There were 3 of us and we were only given 2 towels, when we asked for more I was told they didn’t have any more. The bath mats had stains on them and so did the mattress. Be careful when booking tours, they told me that they had asked the tour operator and i would have to pay full price for children aged 7 and 8. This was wrong information and when challenged i was told the tour operator had give the information but they had not contacted the operator.

Reviewed Jan 16, 2026The family running the hotel were lovely. Very generous and hospitable. They actually arranged a cake for our daughter’s third birthday - a lovely surprise. We enjoyed the pool and it’s a short walk to the beach where there are many restaurants. We were lucky to swim with the turtles of the shore which was amazing. We loved the peacocks coming to visit too. Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious. Thank you Anusha.
We had the family room which was very big but the bathroom was small.

Selten einen so hart arbeitenden Menschen gesehen, der dabei so nett ist. Das clubsandwich und der Eiskaffee waren wirklich sehr sehr lecker und auch das Frühstück war gut. Rundum alles super und wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen.
Sehr viele Ameisen im Zimmer.

Reviewed Dec 12, 2025Welcome was warm, there was a few minutes wait for the room, not only for us but for others that had arrived. The hotel is built around a small splash pool, that doesn't get a great deal of sun but it is clean and has sunbeds and tables/chairs. Rooms on the 1st/2nd floors are up a steep set of stairs. Pool rooms are very close to the pool. Rooms are basic but clean, ok for a night or two. A kettle etc is provided. Breakfast was good, a choice of continental or Sri Lankan. They can book trips etc from the hotel and can arrange bike hire at a cost.
No top sheet on bed. Air con didn't work properly and the fan only worked on fast speed or non existent. No TV's in rooms so only ok for a couple of nights not long term.

Die Zimmer sind super und der saubere Pool sorgt für die nötige Abkühlung. Auch die Massagen sind sehr zu empfehlen. Wir würden auf jeden Fall wiederkommen. Danke!

La ventana del baño estaba rota y tenía que poner un cojin para que no entraran los mosquitos. En el cuarto hay una ventana de un metro de largo ppr otro de ancho que no tiene absolutamente ninguna cortina o un estor..nada..asi que a las 6 de la mñn.todos arriba.
