Ressemble exactement à la description encore plus grand, avec un balcon très agréable. Équipé clim ventilateur, tout fonctionne très bien l’eau bien chaude très reposante, très calme. Il y a tout à disponibilité de quoi manger en bas de l’hôtel jusqu’à 1h du matin. Plusieurs menus à vous de la boisson une épicerie à 1 minute à pied et une laverie à 1 minutes à pied, bonne organisation l hôte est généreux une fois sur place, j’ai tellement aimé que j’ai rallongé mon séjour le hôte et très flexible, je le prévenez au dernier moment que j’avais besoin de quelques jours de plus. Et je payais au dernier moment, il n’a pas de problème avec l’argent, il vous harcèle pas, il est à votre disponibilité. Je voyage beaucoup et c’est de loin le meilleur hôte

A cheap no thrills homestay. A little out the way, but a RM 6-8 grab taxi fare. Ideally rent a motor bike as there is ample parking. Host was friendly and helpful. No check in as keys ready in your door. No room/tourist taxes. Room was fully functioning. Good shower, A/C and T.V. balcony with table and two chairs. Can extend room with no charge if you have a late flight. shop opposite the road and burger stall and local food outlet on site for evenings until late. i would recommend this homestay.

No fridge in room or communal area, but we used a cool bag with ice which worked well.

Pas de poubelles dans la chambre, seulement une commune dans le couloir mais toujours pleine et jamais vidé. Au vu de tous les commentaires précédents je ne comprends pas que le propriétaire n’est toujours pas mis un frigo ou une fontaine à eau. Après réclamation il nous a livré de l’eau mais donc jamais fraîche.

The host was easy to contact. There is a really nice view from the balcony. There are some nice and cheap food places nearby. There was a lot of bottled water provided.

It's a bit of a walk to the nearest beaches, but grab taxis are very cheap to get there. Some of the main tourist area are at the other end of the island. The wifi works, but it drops out a lot, so it's not great if you require a consistent connection for anything. There's no fridge so you will have to drink a lot of warm drinks as even if you buy cold drinks to bring back they won't stay cold for long.

Fireworks every night for hours, and there's a very loud, annoying, and very loud noise coming from the road—so loud you can't stand it—and the room is full of mosquitoes and it was dirty

Заселение бесконтактное, общались сообщениями тут. Мы приехали на байке и хотелось принять душ, но хозяин написал, что полотенце и вода будет вечером, поэтому мы оставили вещи и уехали кушать. В номере есть чайник, кофе, вечером была на 9 дней по 0,5л. и полотенца. Через 5 дней мы написали можно ли поменять полотенца, но нам никто не ответил, поэтому пришлось постирать самим.

Было бы хорошо иметь полотенца по приезду, чтобы принять душ, и если люди приезжают на долго, то менять его. Очень не хватало хотя бы одного общего холодильника(пожелание). Дом у пересечения главных дорог и довольно шумно постоянно, в любое время, вечерами мотоциклы устраивают шумные гонки.

Great value for money. The room was clean and spacious and the shower was nice and hot with great pressure! The bed was also very comfortable. Would definitely stay here again!

The room is very spacious and comfortable. It has a kettle. The water pressure was good and the water was hot. There was coffee, tea and water for every day of our stay. The check in was auto-check in and if we needed something, we just WhatsApp the owner. The room had a nice balcony. Perfect price-quality relation.

For long stays it may be inconvenient not to provide some cleaning. The towels weren't good. There was no mini fridge.

Very clean, large room with balcony, hot water and air conditioner. Bed was comfortable and owner provided drinking water and was very responsive to messages. He even let me check out late for my evening flight. Sometimes hornbills and other birds visited the tree out front, and walking in the area yielded other birds and insects. It takes about a half hour to walk to the downtown area, and I was happy to stay outside of the main tourist hub. The internet was great and I had no problems teaching my online English classes. There is some traffic noise, but it's not too bad.

There is no refrigerator in the room or access to one. I talked with the owner about this and he plans to put one in the hallway for guests to use, but that didn't happen during my stay. Since the weather is very hot in Langkawi, it would have been so nice to have access to cold water, cold drinks and milk for coffee at any time. It also would be nice to have a table or desk in the room for working. I moved a round table from the balcony into the room so I could teach my online English classes. That worked, but a regular rectangular table would be more practical.

Same as my other review, clean room, good internet, AC and balcony. Owner was very helpful and friendly, and price was good. About a 30-minute walk to downtown. There are several restaurants within a 10-minute walk, but the open times and days vary.

Like I mentioned in my other review, there is no fridge, so the only way to get cold water or drinks is to buy them at the small store nearby and drink them right away.

Świetnie zorganizowane i utrzymane miejsce z przyjemnie zacienionym po południu tarasem. Czekały na nas butelkowane wody oraz kawy. Duży plus za szampon i żel pod prysznic. Doskonale działająca, cicha klimatyzacja. Bardzo dobra komunikacja z właścicielem.

Trochę daleko do plaży, ale jeśli planujesz wypożyczyć skuter to to zaledwie 8 minut.

Balcony sunset view was so nice, room had everything we needed, lots a space, comfortable bed, hot powerful shower and sheltered motorbike parking. They supplied us with 2 bottles of water per day, plenty of coffee (kettle in room) and shower gel/shampoo. Thanks a lot for a lovely week in Langkawi, we highly recommend :)

If you don’t drive a scooter/car then you may need to get grabs to the main beach as it’s just a little too far to walk. Can be a little noisy at night with the main road right next to it and the chickens in the morning.

The room very neat and clean, and owner are very helpful, we are so thankful to owner for this stay, even start the air-con for us before we check in

This property amazes me with well equipped And the cleanliness is amazing. It’s a Homestay but all daily usage things is available Like shampoo, soap and towels is super clean

The location only a bit far from the beach but no so far like around 9 to 10min. But overall it’s a good stay

We liked everything about Maze and will definitely stay there again. Amazing value for money. Friendly owners. Comfy bed and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Tea/coffee making facility in the room was an added bonus.

A few nearby restaurants that we hoped to visit had all closed down but this is no reflection on The Maze.

This room had everything I could have wanted and more. The plentiful water for my stay was a great touch. And the balcony had great views. Slightly further out of town but this is no problem as grab is so cheap there.

For the price, cannot be beaten in my opinion. Newly renovated bathroom with a sink, ignore previous comments. Good bed, shower, AC, clothes storage. Easy check in and nice owner.

Usual issues in SEA, shouting roosters but nothing that can be done..

This is our second time staying here. The location is good, not far from Cenang. The host is always friendly and happy to help with anything. The room has everything you need and is good value for money.

The towels smell so bad. I wrote this on my last review but still the same towels 3 months on. Especially when they are damp after use the smell is terrible. They need replacing! When I opened the kettle to use, there was ants inside. The room had an ant problem, I had to buy repellent from the shop.

The property was clean and very comfortable. The owner was very attentive, and gave us lots of recommendations of things to do on the island. Location was fine for us as we had a moped, but not much around the hotel if you are on foot. That being said, taxis are so cheap so super affordable to get around. All in all for what we paid it exceeded my expectation and I would stay again.

The towels were a bit smelly, probably a little old and need changing.

Amir is an incredible host and available at any time if needed. He also gave us lots of ideas for activities and places to visit with all the necessary details. Sincerely, we had a wonderful stay and the room was spotless and the bed comfortable.

It was a nice clean room with air conditioning and fan. Highlight is the 4 little kitten! The communication was also good he seems like a nice honest person! Thank you! Maybe see you again when we will come from Germany to visit langkawi again!

ive been traveling for 3 weeks round Malaysia this is the best value for money and well thought out place ive stayed so far - bed was so comfy - air freshners in the bathroom- 2 towels - fan and aircon - balcony with table and chairs - large room - location 5 minutes on the motorbike out of town so perfecr for those not wanting the noise and mess etc but close enough to just pop in for anything. staff fantastic even text me to say my room was ready 90 minutes before check in 😊💙couldn't be happier with my stay .

the only criticism is no sink in the bathroom?? for such a well thought out grest stay seems strange?? but small price to pay for everything thing else being so good 👌 wish id not prebooked elsewhere before staying here or id have never left 👏thanks

The room is spacious & very clean. There’s a window & a balcony with a decent view. The owner is very helpful and kind. The beach is within 10 mins drive. PS. There’s a local restaurant nearby called Aizat, the best food I’ve had in Malaysia

What I like the most is how cozy the room is..

The room size was big. The bed was really comfortable, the best bed I have slept in Asia so far. It was really clean and recently renovated. AC is good and strong.

There isn't any Internet, but this isn't a probably if you have mobile data. There isn't a sink in the bathroom, which was annoying when getting ready. Cold showers are the only option, there isn't any hot water. A small fridge would have been handy in the room.
