La localisation et c’est à peu près tout..

Nous avions l’impression d’être seuls dans l’hôtel, un hôtel fantôme et on a vite compris pourquoi.. Nous ne sommes pas arrivés tard, vers 17h30, la personne qui nous a accueilli à l’accueil n’avait pas l’air de travailler la mais plutôt d’être une gardienne de nuit. Elle nous a montré notre chambre au rez de chaussé sans balcon, nous avons demandé à payer et avoir une meilleure chambre : ok pour 200 php de plus en tout, parfait on valide, mais au moment de partir on nous demande finalement 1000 php (15€) non négociable, ce qui est énorme ici. Sans parler de l’insonorisation des chambres, si vous voulez du calme ce n’est pas là qu’il faut aller. La salle de bain est minimaliste, trois pommeaux de douche et un seul qui « marche » mais sans pression. le petit déjeuner est copieux mais aucun choix (riz viande œuf), pas de jus de fruit et pas de fruit tout court

Good bed

Large room, comfy bed, powerful shower, quiet area. Even if it is in the outskirts of Alona beach, it is super easy and cheap to get to the town center by tuk tuk (the staff at the reception can call one for you in no time).

The breakfast could be improved, we only noticed savoury options when we stayed there (apart from some jars of jam).

Personal war freundlich und hilfsbereit. Hat uns Transportmittel in den Ort bestellt. Es gab ein paar Liegen am Pool und auch Tücher für die Liegen.

Leider war das Hotel weit weg vom Geschehen und man benötigt auf jeden Fall ein Transportmittel. Das letzte Stück der Straße zum Hotel ist unbefestigt und somit sehr holprig. Das Frühstück bestand aus Eiern in diversen Variationen entweder mit Reis oder Toast und einer Fleischbeilage, sowie Obst, auf Dauer etwas langweilig, für kurze Zeit ok.

Honestly I cant fault this accommodation. We actually booked an extra 3 days we loved it so much. It felt like a little oasis to come back to everyday. We had the pool to ourselves every afternoon. A big thanks to Dalang who was so very friendly and helpful. Thanks for bringing us a beer while we were in the pool🥰. We loved the hot and cold water dispenser just outside the room. Great hot water fluffy towels, most comfortable bed ever. We loved the little balcony I would absolutely recommend this accommodation to anyone. It is just a 5 minute tricycle ride into town. We loved the serenity.

Colazione un po’ povera, solo marmellata come dolce e qualche banana. Chiedevano 500 dall’aeroporto ma sono solo 5 min .. preso un triciclo a 250.. affittato tramite loro lo scooter ma con un altro intermediario .. insomma un po’ troppi passaggi .. per il transfer al porto invece ci hanno portato con una auto per 600php. Serve lo scooter perché un po’ fuori dalla zona dei locali per la sera

A new hotel with a lovely pool in a quiet and serene location. 20 minute walk/5 minute Tuk Tuk ride away from the hustle and bustle of Alona Beach. Staff were amazing and went out of their way to ensure their guests had a good time. Scooter hire was available. Simple Breakfast. Clean and comfortable room. Great value for money.

I loved the friendlyness of the staff. They always had a smile and nothing was too much trouble. The garden and pool were amazing. I love the tranquility of the resort and quiet vibe.

La propreté et la gentillesse du personnel

Le petit déjeuner servi froid et très basique. Une douche pluie qui n’a pas du tout d’eau . Il y a un autre pommeau de douche branché sur un petit chauffe eau mais un tout petit débit! Le jardin montre un entretien très particulier,avec des gravas posés en tas . Honnêtement je ne comprends pas les notes et commentaires si extraordinaires! C’est un peu loin et il faut vraiment un scooter. Je pense qu’il y a beaucoup mieux au même prix.

L hôtel m à mis en relation avec un loueur de motorbike. Il a essayé de me la faire à l envers. Je n ai apprécié. Cet homme aime trop l argent et est prêt à tout pour augmenter le prix. Je n ai pas trouvé cela correct. L hôtel n à que 3 transats au bord de la piscine. Les transats étaient déjà prix. Il serait bien d en rajouter. Peut être aussi remplacer le jus d orange très chimique du matin par qq chose de meilleur 😀

Situé très au calme, une grande piscine et une équipe très attentionnée.

Rien, si ce n'est qu'il est préférable d'avoir un moyen de locomotion.

Le resort est très bien entretenu, que ça doit a l'intérieur ou à l'extérieur. La piscine et le jardin sont très jolis La chambre est grande et propre, l'eau chaude était présente. Et surtout le personnel était adorable ! Ils parlent très bien anglais et répondre a la moindre de nos attentes Petit bonus pour la connexion à Netflix bien utile lors des journées de pluie

L’hotel è bello, pulito, tranquillo, e lo staff è davvero disponibile. La stanza era fresca e ampia. Una nota particolare per la cagnolina Yum-yum, così carina e affettuosa.

Se dovessi trovare un difetto, rinnoverei un po’ i bagni: sarebbe meglio avere un vetro nella doccia per non bagnare tutto.

The accommodation is in a quiet, relaxing location with a beautiful garden. The room was spotless and smelled wonderful. The host was incredibly kind, welcoming, and always ready to help. An excellent place to stay with outstanding value for money. Highly recommended!

Sehr hilfsbereites und freundliches Personal. Sehr schönes großes Zimmer mit Balkon. Frühstück Standard aber ausreichend. Großer sauberer Pool mit Öffnungszeiten bis 22Uhr 🙂. Sehr freundlicher Hotelhund und Katzen 🐈🐱. Waren rundum sehr zufrieden.

You have to get around by car/motorbike, even to go to the beach.

Shas resort est un nouvel établissement, la chambre est grande et assez moderne. Les propriétaires nous ont fourni une table pouvoir travailler. La piscine est super et peu fréquentée. On a pu louer un scooter facilement. Alona beach est à environ 10 min. L’emplacement est pratique car moins bruyant que Alona, mais il vous faudra un scooter ou tuktuk pour vous déplacer. Le wifi était excellent ce qui nous a permis de travailler sereinement.

Le petit déjeuner pourrait être un peu amélioré avec du vrai café. Mais pour le rapport qualité prix, c’était déjà parfait !

I love the customer service I receive whilst staying at Shas Resort. They’re so accommodating and super friendly. From the moment I arrive until my last day in Bohol. I’ve had the pleasure of speaking with wonderful owner (Sonny and Apple). They’re both incredible host! If come back in Bohol I wouldn’t think twice staying here again. They were able to arrange scooter rental during my arrival which great. Absolutely love this place even I didn’t get chance to spend in the pool overall it’s such a good place for great value. Close to public beach (white beach) and Alona for more nightlife and upbeat vibe.

My second time to Panglao. I use Messenger to ask some question before I booking and I got very promplty reply. Everthing is great. Staff are very nice and helpful and It's a very memorable trip. 第二次來邦勞, 在預定前用messenger提問得到非常快速的回覆，如果喜歡安靜的環境這裡還不錯! 雖然住處晚上沒有餐廳，但可以去對面的aftertaste, 東西蠻好吃的!

Technically, there's no restaruant in resort. But there's a restaurant just in front of the resort. And it's good!

La chambre numéro un trop bruyante

A wonderful place, people and owner. A quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Complaining about the variety of breakfasts at such low prices is a bit ridiculous :) We've stayed in various places in the Philippines, but this was the best. Cold water? Sometimes you have to wait a while for it to warm up :) Hard mattresses? Oh no, perfect mattresses! Unless you're a fan of waterbeds :P I recommend the restaurants nearby; great prices and very good quality.

Staff were excellent. Breakfast was off the menu not a buffet but nice to have it included.

Podczas wypożyczania skutera, pan od skutera nie ma drobnych, więc zostawiliśmy mu napiwek, ale kiedy odbieraliśmy kaucję również nie miał drobnych, więc musieliśmy rozmieniać. Dobrze jest mieć drobne przy sobie:)

We really enjoyed the intimacy of the resort and the very kind staff. They offer complete service if you ask them, from the moment you land to Panglao airport, to the moment of your leave. It is a bit far from the rest of the turistic places, but you can use the Grab app and that issue disappears.

Had a very relaxing stay as you are out of the hustle and bustle. The staff were so friendly, especially the receptionist. The room was lovely. It was clean and spacious. The hotel reception and breakfast room seems new and modern. The pool area was nice, water cooled you off in the heat. Reception are more than happy to order Tuktuk to get around.

No hot water in shower - luke warm at best but this wasn't an issue with the hot weather. Also seems to be quite common in the Philippines. Two or three more sun loungers around the pool would be useful, only three there when I stayed.

用餐場地很乾淨舒適，不過早餐非常不吸引人但是能飽腹，不要有所期待，與附近餐廳合作可以叫外送。

The place was relaxing, and the staff was extremely gentle. We arrived late, and they were waiting for us. Furthermore, the day we left was very early, and they prepared breakfast for us before 6 a.m. That was very kind of them. The room is big, and the mattress is extremely comfortable. It is very recommended.

It is a new hotel, many locals don’t even know it’s there, but it’s a nice stay overall. Nice pool and grounds. The staff is wonderful. Free breakfast is a plus. It’s quite.

It’s kind of off the main area so transportation is needed. Bed is a bit stiff but that’s typical in Philippines.

Posizione buona a 2 km dal centro città

One of my favourite stays in SEA so far, it’s a peaceful location with friendly staff. I ended up extending my stay so did one of the other people that was staying here. It is also great for digital nomads as there is a generator and 200mbps wifi, even by the pool! I dont think any other accommodation on the island can match that. - easy to rent a bike - nice beaches near (rent a bike) - ‘Australian’pies down the road - affordable bar - huge pool - secure + safe Highly recommend (from a New Zealand’er)

Clean and nice property grounds, nice and helpful staff, good value.

The bed is hard. Maybe a little more variety at breakfast but it was fine. Beautiful dog was usually chained to a chair on the entrance walkway, is there a reason the dog can’t run free on the grounds? The place is very nice overall.

The location is perfect. The staff are helpful and kind. Cleanliness is excellent. The pool is clean.

Shas Resort is located in a quiet but convenient location in town. It’s 10mins( with traffic) drive to the airport and less than 10mins a tuk tuk ride to a white sand beach. Across the road from the resort is a cafe serves very good espresso and local food.The pool and jacuzzi on the property is another big plus. The owner of the resort Sunny and his family also made extra effort to assist me during my stay: I got sick before I arrived resort, Sunny and his brother in law drove me to the hospital in Tagbilaran in the second day, they walked me through the procedures in the hospital, waited for me when I visited the doctor and did all the tests, then drove me back to the resort for free of charge! This is the help and service I received during my stay in Shas Resort.

Overall, the hotel is good. It has a nice outdoor area with a great pool and a pickleball court. The room was spacious and clean. Breakfast isn’t huge, but the quality of the food is very good. There’s a nice restaurant just across the street, and if you have a motorbike, the main hub of restaurants and bars is only five minutes away

I have to rate the hotel this way due to two issues that, as someone who works in hospitality, I simply can't ignore as they reflect poorly on the quality of service and management. First, after our first night (of a four-night stay), we found a printed notice on our door stating that construction work would be carried out on the rooftop from 9 am to 5 pm. There had been no prior warning about this, and no one mentioned it during check-in, which we had done just the day before. To make matters worse, the construction didn’t even start at 9 am, but at 8:20 am, I even have a video to confirm this. Second, we needed to stay one extra night in Panglao. Considering the noise and ongoing construction, we expected some understanding or flexibility from the hotel, especially since many hotels would have temporarily closed to avoid negative guest experiences during such works. Instead, they quoted us a price higher than what we had paid the night before, and even higher than what was listed on Booking.com. These two points show a serious lack of transparency and guest care, which unfortunately overshadows the rest of our stay

Nowhere to hang wet towels. Bed quite hard. Limited breakfast. Quite far from town but quiet and peaceful. All day music in upstairs corridor very annoying.

A relatively new hotel (opened August 2024), there's still construction and work being done on the hotel (ie: they installed a refrigerator in our room during our stay), BUT it is already an incredible place that I would 100% recommend. Located super close to the airport, it's super convenient, and is relatively close to Ayala Beach (~100 pesos) while still being quiet. The staff is incredibly helpful and friendly. My stay had a lot of things that required accommodations, and they were always welcoming and accommodating (ie: my friend and I arrived and left at different times). The front desk helped us arrange a country tour, and it was a great time at a reasonable price. Room is so so clean and nice. AC is perfect, wifi is strong. Breakfast changes every day and was nice :) Simple with a couple choices but yummy nonetheless. We absolutely loved our stay here, and we really cannot recommend it enough. The family is so nice, friendly, welcoming, and accommodating!

The resort is so new that it isn't on Grab just yet :( We would have to chase after Grabs that would arrive relatively near but not at the resort. The sign outside does light up at night and does make it easy for drivers to locate the resort when we get dropped off! The shower water drained relatively slowly, but there was a second drain in the center of the bathroom that the water would overflow and drain through (relatively small inconvenience!) Literally nothing else comes to mind. Really really recommend this resort!

Quiet and peaceful..nice parks and gardens

The staff was very pleasant. The hotel is new and great condition.

I mentioned to staff to have some fruit choices at breakfast. The rooms have no tables for luggage or side tables on both sides. So tables would be very helpful.

Amazing brand new loved it and staff couldn’t be more helpful. The restaurant opposite is also amazing deffo try when you stay!!

Beautiful place with amazing staff

It's a great property. Big and quiet, with a nice pool and whirlpool. The room was very clean and cozy. The staff was very accommodating. The owner even drove us to the ferry port because we had issues finding a grab last minute.

The short access road was a bit rough. Nothing too bad but a bit challenging with a scooter.

Everything great nothing to complain

Location is not too far from Alona beach, but much quieter. Nearby White beach is much more relaxing. A bike rental would be recommended to get around or you can easily grab a tuktuk. The staff are beyond exceptional! They helped with any questions, recommendations, and making sure your stay is as good as can be. There are also some great restaurant options nearby the resort.
