Clean, welcoming and very relaxing especially out in the nature. The owner was very warm, easy to talk to and accommodating.

Accueil chaleureux et l'emplacement très agréable

Nous étions agréablement surpris par la chaleur de l'acceuil que nous a réservé Mr. Mehdi Mrabet dans son gîte rural. Le personnel a été aussi chaleureux et attentif et s'adaptait à la perfection avec nos rythmes et plans de nos journées...Mes salutations pour Ahmed le cuisinier qui nous a régalé avec ses délicieux plats préparés à notre demande. Mr. Mehdi Mrabet nous a aussi très bien conseillé sur les merveilleux sites archéologiques à visiter dans les alentours du gîte dont l'emplacement est idéal pour visiter Chemtou, Bulla Regia et Dougga. Mes remerciements pour Mme Amal notre guide à Chemtou et Bulla Regia.

Bel établissement, bien placé entre Bulla Rugia et Dougga. Bon accueil. Magnifique piscine et jardin et très bon petit déjeuner. On recommande.

Peut-être une bouilloire dans la chambre avec thé et café. Manque une petite terrasse devant la chambre.

La piscine et son environnement sont très agréables (d'autant plus que nous étions seuls). Petit déjeuner correct avant d'attaquer une chaude journée. Chambre spacieuse, récente et bien aménagée. La situation, très calme, au milieu des citronniers.

Rapport qualité/prix un peu plus élevé que la moyenne de nos 6 autres hébergements de ce voyage.

El desayuno estuvo bien, normal, sin más. El alojamiento cuenta con piscina de la puedes disfrutar. A pesar de estar en medio de la nada, se encuentra fácilmente.

Beautifully decorated, spotlessly clean and modern rooms located in a quiet rural setting. Bed was very comfortable, shower was great and good towels and toiletries were supplied. Our quiet room (Thompson), named after a citrus fruit variety, was a few steps away from the main house and surrounded by citrus trees. There is lots of wooden shelving around the bed and the wall opposite giving a lovely look. The pool is large and spotlessly clean. It was long enough for lap.swimming. Breakfast was excellent and served al fresco beside the pool. There is a large common area inside the main building and we parked in the secure lot out front. Host Ahmed? was friendly, gracious and spoke excellent English among other languages. Being well away from any restaurants, it is great that dinner can be ordered at an additional 20 euro per person cost. Otherwise you will need a car.

The cost was on the high side for the rural setting, but we enjoyed our stay. The basketry bedside lamps were a bit low meaning I had to duck frequently getting into bed.

Simplement tout…l’endroit était magnifique et l’accueil exceptionnel. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour avec un hôte très attentionné et passionné par l’envie de faire découvrir sa région. Beaucoup de conseils nous ont été donné pour profiter des jours suivants notre roadtrip en Tunisie.

Accueil très chaleureux de la part d'Emna et Mohammed et de leur équipe. Belle chambre au milieu des orangers. Jardin et piscine très agréables. Parfait emplacement pour visiter Bulla Regia et Chemtou ou en chemin vers Ain Draham ou Dougga, facilement accessible depuis l'autoroute. Les nouvelles chambres à l'étage seront magnifiques, avec une vue exceptionnelle.

Dar Khedija is a perfect place to stay; the level of comfort and their services were superb. The owner, Mehdi, helped us so much in our travels in the region out of his goodwill, and we left so grateful and having learned so much about Tunisia from him.

La chambre un peu petite et sans même une chaise. Malheureusement pas d'eau chaude en me levan ce matin là..Rien n'est aménagé un minimum pour aller se promener dans les vergers.Mon bungalow donnait sur l'allée ou se garent les voitures, pas très cool... Impossible à trouver sans gps

La posizione molto vicina ai siti archeologici di Bulla Regia e Chemtou. La struttura è un’oasi di pace immersa in una limonaia, con tanto di piscina. I proprietari sono persone incredibilmente gentili e disponibili. Camere ampie e molto curate. Buonissime sia la cena sia la colazione.

La posizione vicino ai siti archeologici di Bulla Regia e Chemtou, le camere sono ben curate e immerse nel verde, piscina e giardino molto belli.

The options were great and there was more than enough to eat.

When I reached the GPS location, it was unclear if I was in the right place. I did not know that the large metal gate would open automatically. A sign would have been very helpful.

Dar Khedija is a lovely Gite Rural set in a citrus grove with lemon, lime and orange trees. The accommodations were very comfortable, and a swimming pool is most inviting! The hosts and staff were excellent and multilingual. The breakfasts and evening dinner were consistently delicious and well presented.

It is located in the rural countryside near Bou Salem, so a private care is recommended. That said, the host was able to arrange all my travel needs as I was traveling without a car.

An oasis. Relaxing. Perfect food. Special breakfast with openair oven baked bread.

The location is convenient for Bulla Regia. Modern and very clean room with plenty of space. Comfortable bed and good shower. We had four course dinner at the accomodation which was good although quite expensive.

Need GPS to locate the accommodation which is down a dirt track. There is only a small sign at the road end which has faded on one side. Lacks a few basic amenities such as soap dispenser in the shower and a kettle. No welcome drink on arrival unlike many places we stayed. Overall price/quality ratio a little high compared to other places we stayed.

Dar Khedija is a great place to stay. That's the case for several reasons. In the first place, although Dar Khedija is in an area with limited facilities for visitors, Dar Khedija itself offers comfortable accommodation in attractive, well-equipped rooms (air-conditioning, screening, heating, closet, TV, large bed). Also important for us was the informal, almost rustic style of Dar Khedija which suited perfectly its rural location. We also appreciated the high level of hospitality: although we were there during Ramadan and although the tastes and interests of our group of five vary a lot, Dar Khedija pleased everyone. Breakfast was plentiful and included a wide range of foodstuffs. Dinner was provided each evening at our request, and we could order a wide range of dishes. For us the location of Dar Khedija was important. We were able to visit --without stress -- Dougga, Bulla Regia, the Chemdou museum and El Kef . If our stay had been longer, we would also have visited Tabarka. We reached Dar Khedija without any difficulty, but visitors should be aware that a GPS may be essential.

What an amazing find! Mohamed is a superb host. The guest house is in a really remote area, but he provides everything you need, from a warm welcome and comfortable room, to an amazing dinner which just kept coming! Fresh food straight from the farm, home made bread which you can see being made, and a relaxing, peaceful stay. We will be back!

Nothing! Even when we couldn’t get hot water on the first morning, this was immediately resolved. Great service

Communication was great, meals were great, the room and the bed and the bathroom were very clean! The location was also very helpful since my trip was focused on touring archaeological site and Bulla Regis was located very near by.

I arrived in the rain just after dark and since there is no sign from the main road and no light at the gate I would not have been able to find it with Google maps and GPS.

The place is wonderful. Is a calm oasis to relax and have a good time. The owner and the personal are wonderfully kind.

The rooms are nice but there is both enough furniture to put the things on.

The property is well located for peace of mind. In the middle of the country side, it is very relaxing. The swimming pool is great, rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is very generous and the owner is always making sure we have everything we need and want.

- Can only pay cash (in € or dinars) - A little bit hard to find the resort just with the navigation device as they are no signs (use google maps to find it) - In the front of the gate, there is no door bell (we had to call them to inform that we arrived) - No shampoo / soap was given - The sink drain in our room was leaking - The wine & water at the dinner was not included in the price and had to pay extra (only found out the next day).

The hotel is family run and an absolute haven. The rooms are comfortable and the gardens and pool area peaceful, it's a lovely environment. The breakfast and dinner was excellent with dinner, definitely restaurant quality. The brothers are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, we felt that we arrived as guests but left as friends. Highly recommended. We will definitely stay again if we return to the area.

It's a little hard to find, but with it. The staff are wonderful, and the ambiance very pleasant. I had booked without breakfast or dinner, but they were able to provide both on short notice, and they were both good.
