Everything was good

The staff were able to facilitate all of our needs, although there was a language barrier. We stayed for 8 nights and they offered to clean our room daily, offering clean towels and fresh water. Variety of food for breakfast whether it was a buffet or you ordered off the menu.

There was building work on 2 houses outside the front of the complex and building work at the end of the garden all of which created a lot of dust, dusting did not form part of the room clean. These building works also created a lot of noise making it difficult to relax in the outside area. The owner of the hotel invited us to join him outside which was really friendly and made us feel welcomed, after a while the conversation became more of a lecture on how Britain has bullied the world which made us feel uncomfortable.

Serene & calming courtyard, large clean room with seating on attached veranda. Firm comfortable bed and good shower. Breakfast selection not limited to items on serving table, you can order items. Dinner we was tasty and very generous, we had to leave about half the food. Location was fine for us as we utilised Ubers & Tuktuks to get to the main attractions. Good staff service.

One person on reception was a little unwelcoming and lacked hospitality niceness

The safety, security, serenity of the property. Staff were nice with great attitude.

Very old furnitures, look & feel of the room. Old bathroom fittings, dusty curtains. Rooms have old doormats that are old, rusty and smelly. The room was full of dust.

The staff cooked according to our dietary requirements and were very accommodating

Location was remote and bad. Overpriced as per facilities It's like a simple house stay..

Firstly, please do not disrespect the national flag by hoisting a torn and faded off flag. Secondly, your dining area needs to be spotless, I found coffee being served in a cup with lipstick marks. The kitchen and hotel staff needs to look clean and not like railway station staff. Please give them uniforms and train them so that they understand the importance of hygiene and cleanliness. While the property is beautiful, the rooms are not well lit(no sunlight enters the rooms). The sheets of the room that I was allotted had a hole(#16). This is not expected as you are charging a premium for the rooms. There were not toiletries. 2-3 unkempt housekeeping guys coming in when the guests are in the room is awkward. Not that they are not well behaved but its intrusion of privacy. The duration of bfast served is too short. The front desk guy was very helpful but he looks tired. Does he work 24/7? Why does he sleep in the reception area? Give him a room. Have a guard instead outside the reception entrance. I am suggesting the above as I think you have a good property but need to just pay attention to some finer nuances to make this place more popular and worth the proce that you charge for the rooms.

The staff serving food were kind

Hot water was not working. + The manager was not even ready to fix it till I had to shout at him. If we asked for extra blankets the manager was again not prompt. Had to push him a lot to give blankets. The bathroom's condition is bad plus was stinking like a gutter. When asked to fix it, they simply put air freshener. We couldn't even breath in the bathroom cause of the stench. Disgusting! Rooms were never cleaned. Corridor was littered with trash. Hospitality was zero! Photos on booking.com looked great but in reality was super bad. Not worth the money we spent.

The property is located very close to all the sites. Housekeeping and breakfast could be much better.

Caring & friendly staff. Clean rooms and bathroom. Well kept lawns. Freshly made food in restaurant. Digvijay was exceptionally friendly and shared useful info.

Entrance to the property is narrow and between houses.

The food was good and the staff members were nice and cooperative.

The location is poor and the hotel is not well maintained. It's not worth the price they are asking.

Terrace

Not the cleanest place we stayed. Firm beds. Garden is currently overlooked by a building site. The terrace outside the bedrooms was not cleaned all of the time we stayed. Very noisy families staying in the hotel keeping us awake at night.

Our room was clean and quite spacious. Adequate for a night

The service was odd. To enter the hotel you have to go through what seems to be a residential part and there was no signage or guidance. Can't say the staff were welcoming in contrast to our experience at other properties in Rajasthan. Nor did anyone bother to offer to help with the bags when we checked out, especially as the exit gate is a little outside. Shower was too small. No toilet paper in the bathroom. They have a good property but they have to work on their service.

The complementary breakfast is prepared based on your liking/favorite food. We got wonderful and tasty idli and sambar.

Everything was perfect. Staff were wonderful. The location of this friendly, family run hotel couldn’t have been better. The verandahs and terraces are o exceptionally beautiful of an evening, helpful staff. Very friendly.

We liked everything. Our only reservation was the beds were a little too hard for us, everything else was perfect.

Great location for visiting Jodhpur's main sites for tourists. Always good Service from Staff. Spacious and Clean rooms. We ate 1 evening in the hotel and the meal was really tasty. Good breakfast. Love the Tea.

Bathrooms are probably in need of an update but nonetheless were clean and acceptable for the price paid.

It’s a good medium category hotel but found the noise of mosque vey loud and disturbing. The staff and the manager are very good. The dining room is mediocre and the breakfast is average. I like the Balcony, but disturbed by mosque and road noise.

The staff can improve their english, it was difficult to understand each other some times ex at the breakfast we didn't know that we could order from a menu in the beginning.

it was a quick overnight, rooms were adequate, large, clean ,smelt of moth balls as some hotels do in India but soon remedied by having the window open..Breakfast was fine , staff helpful . No complaints

The hotel is located away from the usual tourist areas in a more residential area, which makes it great if you are working and don't want to fight the crowds, but can be a bit tricky to find the first time. The rooms are lovely and clean and the staff are very friendly and helpful.

Lovely hotel with a large outdoor covered, balcony that was so conducive to relaxing. It was so pleasant to wake up and open the doors to the balcony and take in the amazing view. The room was large and clean and the breakfast was very good. I also really appreciated the attention to detail the people running the hotel provided, both during breakfast and with any questions I had. It is also set back from the street and nice and quiet. Highly recommend!

Rooms are spacious and clean. The area is calm and noise free. You even have a balcony to enjoy the evenings! The staff are very polite and helpful.

The location is a little off the main road and can be difficult to spot. But still, it felt safe and we got used to the narrow lanes.

Staff -The sweetest staff and prompt service. Very homey and warm. Peace and quiet - The property is situated in a very peaceful spot. Rooms - The rooms are very cosy. The balconies are cute.

All of the staff at Hanuwant Niwas are friendly, happy and will go out of their way to make your stay a comfortable one. The home cooked breakfast is plentiful and varied. The laundry service was excellent.

This hotel was the best place we stayed in during our trip around India. The property was calm with a nice view to the green garden. They served the best breakfast we have ever eaten in India. The staff was very helpful. We could check-in in the middle of the night. We were also given a ride for free to the bus station while heading to our next destination. Highly recommended if you are planning to stay in Jodhpur.

It's a beautiful property with a polite and courteous staff. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. It felt like they wanted to make your stay comfortable and go out of the way to make it happen. Will recommend this property to my friends and family for future visits to Jodhpur.

The hotel is perfect for relaxation, either in the garden or on the balcony. It's a peaceful oasis in the chaos of India. Rooms are large, well appointed and comfortable, and the food is very good. Staff are always willing to help and make guests feel very welcome.

Had an fabulous time here for 2 nights. The rooms were spacious and clean. It had a comfort of a hotel and the warmth of a homestay. Mr Devi was extremely courteous and helpful in every way. Shanker served us fabulous fresh and delicious food for dinner and breakfast.

Nothing much that i didn't like. A suggestion for maybe more varieties in the breakfast buffet.

Wifi and air-con very good, beautiful garden area to relax, room was a good size. The hotel is situated in a quiet location away from the dusty, noisy and cramped old town. An elevator/lift is currently being installed. This will certainly help if you are on the upper floors. Helpful, very kind and wonderful staff. Nice and plentiful breakfast that set us up for the day. We needed an early breakfast at 0730 on our check-out day, to which they accommodated and we were extremely grateful. The food on the menu was fantastic. We had the Dal and fried rice etc. All were freshly freshly and affordable. Apart from the refrigerator and mattress issue, a wonderful place in a peaceful part of Jodhpur.

A refrigerator would be highly appreciated in the room. The "double" bed was 2 quite hard single mattresses pushed together, which made for an uneasy and uncomfortable night.

The little hotel is a paradise Island in Jodhpur. Very clean, beautiful garden, spacious bedroom, nice personal, good food at its private restaurant. There is nothing to blame, you can rest after visiting Jodhpur, and you will need it ! Do not take another hotel in the center of the blue city, you can really have a good and enjoyed time in this hotel. I recommend this hotel without hesitation! In high season, book in advance because I think there are only 12 bedrooms...

Nothing to complain. The large and half soft bed was comfortable, but my wife prefers very soft 😁 The hotel is not in the city center, but who will be crazy to stay in the center and its dust ???

The place is neat and nice. It's a very small hotel..the service and staff are absolutely wonderful!

The room was really big and comfortable and nothing beats a garden terrace for breakfast (which was also one of the best breakfasts we have had during our whole stay in India). Special mention to the staff who was always trying their best to help and make our stay the best possible!

The Hanuwant Niwas is off a back street, which means no street noise and it was a super surprise to access via the large garden this far more imposing hotel than shown in booking.com's photos. My room was wonderfully large with 2 overhead fans, not that they were much needed as the nights were cool mid February. Fresh towels were provided daily & the water in the shower, heated by an individual immersion heater meant hot water was ample. The large garden and veranda were delightful places to sit, with breakfast served outside as dinner can be too.

Managers and staff very keen to give of their best at all times despite their lack of professional training in hospitality. Large bedroom with shared veranda to garden with square lawn and borders. Bathroom basic but served its purpose. Food nicely prepared and tasted good. Staff always on hand to make sure you are being well-looked after. Strong Wi-Fi signal. Excellent laundry at very reasonable prices.

Hotel not that easy to find. You had to ask for the kind of information that most hotels provide in ways easily accessible to guests. Communication in English sometimes difficult.

Nice clean and well maintained rooms. Recently renovated. Breakfast was served in the garden which made it enjoyable. Rooms had an big attached balcony, which made the stay enjoyable.

Without an elevator can be difficult for guests if they are allocated top floor rooms. Other than that a very good hotel

The owner's nephew looks after the guests very warmly. He is the face of this place. The heritage hotel is well kept with no ostentation but provides a very good and comfortable stay.

They should provide quality toiletries in the bathroom.

Lovely place that was started started a few months ago. great garden, wonderfully spacious and comfortable room. The owner was friendly and took great care of us.

Calm oasis from the world outside, very attentive staff, clean and comfortable room...and tasty breakfast on the front lawn. I only give a 9 out of belief that there is always room for improvement, but this is as close to 10 as you can get, and excellent value for money too.

The best part about Hanuwant Niwas is their staff. They cater to your every need politely. It has to be THE BEST hotel staff we have ever encountered.

There's no hot water attached to the shower, so you can't take that relaxing hot water shower in the winter.

Everything was just superb. Staff members are so much helping.

The rooms and facilities are spacious and clean. The staffs are very nice and kind. They were willing to helping us and that makes us relieved.

The garden is a little oasis of calm ! The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcomed, they made our stay as enjoyable as possible ! Merci merci !

Very little to complain about !

The property was at very good location and well maintained .

The basic toiletry wasn’t there ( tooth paste , toothbrush, shampoo). The balcony wasn’t cleaned before .

We liked everything right from the room, reception, food, location, bonfires but most of all its people who run this day on day, made it special. Service was above and beyond expectations.

The food menu may need more variety. Totally understand it's a new hotel and they will add more to it as they grow.
