Amazing location, Elisabeth the owner was so lovely and accomadating. The property is beautiful and custom built.

The solar lights didn't last the whole evening, going dark after an hour so we were left in the dark

The lady who greeted us was very friendly and very helpful. The place was stunning, with fantastic views. Very comfortable and super well equipped.

There was nothing to not like! This property was the best equipped and most peaceful we have stayed in. This accomodation located on the top of a hill in a wellness centre had an amazing kitchen with veggie patch.

Very tidy place, fantastic kitchen, great hospitality by the owner. Stunning views.

The location is between Opononi and Omapere up a short metal road. The views are great and the room was clean and comfortable. The owner was very friendly and made us feel very welcome. There is a very well appointed kitchen with everything you could need as well as a great vegetable garden you can use.

Had the entire 3 story property to our selves. Beautiful view, clean, kitchen well set up, access to free vegetables Host was very friendly.

Clean, comfortable room with great western views over Omapere & Hokianga south head. Large kitchen with great facilities downstairs that we could use. Quiet as we were only guests. Nice wooden floors and everything smelled great.

Just needed to be mindful that charging devices tricky as solar power but should be able to do your phone.

A great find in Northland. A gorgeous view from the house. A fully equipped kitchen to use and use of store cupboard food, milk and veggies from the garden. Very welcoming hosts showed us around. We felt relaxed as soon as we arrived and enjoyed the fact that it is a healthy living retreat. Had a great game of ping pong in the attic too. Amazing value.

A very special place with widespread views of the water from high on the hill. Serene and quiet. The host Elisabeth was welcoming and showed us around her beautiful guesthouse and garden. She invited us to use the kitchen and any herbs and vegetables we would like from her garden. The laundry facilities are complimentary - no tumble dryer, just washing lines in a corner of the extensive garden. I have never had the pleasure before of hanging laundry with such a view! A most enjoyable and comfortable stay. Many thanks Elisabeth.

Friendly host, spotlessly clean room, fully equipped facilities, comfortable beds, stunning views. This property has everything for a phenomenal price. Well worth a stay and we wish we had a few more days to enjoy the tranquillity.

the place was spotlessly clean! Host is really friendly and welcoming, told us a lot about the place and walked us around the facility to introduce everything relevant to our stay. Beautiful view! Really quiet as we were the only people in the entire building! GF said she had the best sleep in a long time!

Amazing view on the sea and surroundings.

There is no wifi and no reception data providers because of its remote location. Its a recovery place for people with severe illness. Its confronting, not sure if its suitable for travellers in its current state.

The sockets/appliances are a mixture of 12V and regular - and we were not informed about this (not verbally and not in writing). Very dangerous. I got a bad electric shock with burns on my hands. The fuse did not blow as it should have. The host’s excuse that the sockets are different is invalid; it is totally normal for European travelers to have converter plugs. In addition, we were not informed that some of the lights are on solar power and might run out of power, so we had no light in the bathroom during the night. (“You could have called” - sorry, no. Nobody wants to have to make a phone call at 2am and then wait for someone to drive up and fix the problem).

A lovely greeting from Katalina and Claus. The rooms were bright and comfortable. And our view out our window looked straight onto the Hokianga Harbour. Stunning. Kitchen/dining is great, roomy and loving the wooden floor and walls. So very bright and airy. Lots of organic ingredients are there to enhance your dinner or breakfast. Plus we were offered to take any thing from the garden. A very holistic household

Awesome place with stunning views and a lovely atmosphere. The house is magnificent, clean, and full of sun—a beautiful big kitchen and lots of healthy groceries like nuts, seeds...for free to use. The room was very tidy and comfortable!

Exceptionally helpful owners Claus and Elizabeth very friendly. Extremely tidy and well maintained. Highly recommend.

Only detraction is gravel road up the hill.

Beautiful building, view and location and the kitchen is top notch. They offer health and rejuvenation services, but you can stay there as a regular guest as well. I loved the drive down here, with the ferry, from KariKari.
