La proprietaria, Signora gentilissima e molto disponibile che con tantissima pazienza e parlando in inglese e traduttori, ci siamo capiti e ci ha dato tantissimi consigli informazioni utili, e ci ha fatto assaggiare piatti tipici fatti in casa e abbondanti inoltre, anche tante curiosità e per cena ci ha cucinato piatti tipici molto abbondanti e buon. Noi abbiamo scelto sia il piatto di renna cucinato con cottura lenta e sia il pesce bianco fatto al forno entrambi squisiti e oltre questo i diversi contorni tra patate e verdure ottimo tutto! Ci ha chiesto per la colazione cosa volevamo e personalizzato Lo consiglio vivamente se dovesse ricapitare su strada da queste zone, ci torneremo sicuramente

Nice and tasty breakfast, comfortable beds, and very welcoming hosts. Dinner is also available on request, and they are happy to share helpful information and recommendations about local sights and places to visit. A lovely place to stay with a warm and friendly atmosphere.

Very nice and somewhat different hotel experience. Staff were friendly and very social. Big and clean room, simple but very good breakfast.

Struttura parecchio datata,con linoleum su pavimento e pareti, arredamento vecchiotto e poco attraente, bagno con dispenser sapone rotti e sostituiti da flaconi,senza tappetino doccia , letto alla francese, molto molleggiato,tende poco oscuranti ,non sono in vendita alcolici, neppure per accompagnare la cena

Unni was a wonderful host with detailed knowledge of the region and its communities. Talks with her greaty enriched my stay. She also prepared a very nice fish dinner and cooked breakfast. The location is good for trips to all parts of Varanger. The lounge area was nice and comfy.

The bedrooms were disappointing. The building used to be a nursing home and still has that vibe: a hospital-like corridor leads to not much nicer rooms. Unni is aware of this and would like to renovate, so hopefully it will be better in the future. The "sea view" is of a corner of the fjord dominated by a large (and audible) open-pit mine: not the cosy coastal haven I was hoping for and I decided to leave earlier than planned.

Alles was prima en voldeed aan mijn verwachtingen. En gastvrouw Unni is meedenkend en gaf het gevoel dat je er snel thuisvoelt.

God morgenmad - og mulighed for at smøre madpakke (tilkøb). Værterne meget servicemindede og indstillede til at skabe en rar stemning. Midnatssol på værelset - og mulighed for at trække gardiner for.

Austertana is the end of the world, but we met a very kind host, that also prepared a rendeer dinner for us after arrival. Even in the rain (we had a lot) Unni let the sun shine in her hotel. And on your way to that hotel you can talk to sheep and rendeer standing on the street and the nature in that area is wonderful.

La gentilezza di Esther, l'ottima cena preparata da lei a base di pesce e verdure al forno con salsina, sapori "di casa" anche per noi italiani. Il salotto comune caldo e ricco di storia. La stanza grande con affaccio sul bellissimo giardino e vista in lontananza del fiordo, il circondario silenzioso ma operoso. Wifi in tutta la struttura. Colazione semplice ma buona e ricca. Queste cose ci hanno fatto sorvolare anche sui difetti sotto.

Nella struttura c'è un odore di chiuso e cucinato, la stanza era decisamente datata e avrebbe bisogno di qualche ritocco, le tende sono troppo trasparenti per fare fronte al sole che sorge alle 5 (almeno a fine estate). Per la colazione servirebbe un toaster.

Olimme pyörätuolia ja henkilönosturia käyttävän äitini kanssa liikenteessä. Unna piti meistä todella hyvää huolta, hän etsi meille sopivan suihkutuolin ja varmisti joka kohdassa että meillä oli kaikki hyvin. Yövyimme 3 yötä. Söimme joka ilta illallisen, suosittelemme erityisesti Unnan kalaa! On totta, että tilat ovat vanhat, mutta tästä huolimatta viihdyimme erinomaisesti. Kaikki oli toimivaa. Pyörätuolilla liikkuville tiedoksi, että pyytäessä saa oikein hyvän huoneen, jonka kylpyhuoneeseen on pieni kynnys (noin 1cm), ja jonka suihkuun kynnystä oli alle 1cm. Pärjäsimme oikein hyvin vaikka henkilönosturin kanssa täytyi vähän nähdä vaivaa että päästiin kylpyhuoneeseen. Tämä kuitenkin onnistui avustajana toimivalta isältäni oikein hyvin. Unna on todella avulias, häneltä kannattaa kysyä tietoja missä kannattaa käydä ja syödä :) Majoitus tuntui kodinomaiselta, lämpimästi meidät toivotettiin tervetulleeksi ja aamupala oli todella hyvä. Unnan tummaa leipää tulee ikävä!

Ehkä vähän parempaa siivousta olisin toivonut, mutta kaiken kaikkiaan tämä unohtui hyvin äkkiä ja kokemus jäi todella positiiviseksi! Tosin muiden vieraiden meluaminen myöhään harmitti. Tämä ei ole majapaikan vika, mutta toivoisin että hiljaisuutta kunnioitettaisiin. Korvatulpat mukaan.

Jotenkin eksoottinen paikka, jolla myös oma toimintaideologia.

Unna was extremely friendly, hospitable and cooked a nice dinner for us. Also very informative about the surrounding area and gave us tips for future destinations and restaurants.

The building is a bit old and rundown. No blackout curtains so the room is very bright during summer nights.

Clean, simply, friendly.

Unni was nice and kind host and she made a really great and tasty dinner for us. There was homemade bread and self-grown vegetables at the breakfast table. The accommodation was clean and cozy. Everything, like showers and Wi-Fi, were working without any problems. The location was peaceful and quiet. The views from our window were beautiful. Unni also gave us useful tips for our trip in Norway ❤️

The host was very nice and gave us lots of information about sights and specialties for an in-depth tour. She also provided breakfast, dinner, and laundry services to make our trip cozy and enjoyable.

The thin curtains could not keep out the perpetual sunlight. We have to wear eye masks to sleep.

Very quiet, very friendly personnel and the hotel is very near to the places which must be seen.

We enjoyed our one-night stay in this modest but comfortable guesthouse located 46kms north of Tana Bru in a peaceful environment. It is owned by the lovely Esther Utsi, a Sami woman, who purchased the former nursing home in a drive to expand the number of Sami enterprises in the area. Esther is an excellent cook and we can highly recommend pre-ordering an evening meal - fish or meat - for an extra charge. Our dish of reindeer with vegetables was fantastic. The caretakers, Minu and Sanchu, are charming and helpful and even insisted on carrying our bags.

The establishment would benefit from some maintenance and refurbishment as it is looking a little worn and tired. The breakfast is OK but could be improved. Extra pillows would be helpful All-day tea and coffee making facilities would be great, too.

The staff was very welcoming, helpful and friendly. Location was good. They also offer Ayurvedic massage and that was a great experience.

Bed wasnt very comfortable for a couple and for my taste it was too soft. The rooms are quite old and therefore a little bit stuffy.
