Reviewed Aug 8, 2026Warm and friendly homestay with excellent food, comfortable and clean lodgings and private bathroom. The chicken tagine cooked from scratch on the beach was mouthwatering. The accommodation is very simple but the reception you receive and the time Mohammed and his family give you was beyond our expectations. Mohammed is totally committed to showing you authentic, rural Berber life and his family life story is behind the philosophy of this homestay. This is about warmth, family, tradition, experience and peace of mind.
Nothing but please note this is not a luxury hotel experience but not hardship either.

Reviewed May 14, 2026Nous avons passé une très belle nuit dans ce gîte, que nous avions choisi au départ comme simple étape entre Taghazout et Essaouira. Finalement, ce fut bien plus qu’une halte.
L’accueil était particulièrement chaleureux et nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis les bienvenus. Les repas étaient délicieux, préparés avec beaucoup de générosité et de soin.
Un grand merci à Aïcha, qui a été d’une grande gentillesse tout au long de notre séjour. Elle nous a fait découvrir les alentours de la plage de Timzgida Ouftassi, dont les décors sont tout simplement fantastiques. Ce moment très agréable s’est terminé autour d’un bon thé.
La maison est simple, mais profondément riche d’humanité, d’authenticité et de bienveillance. Une très belle expérience que nous garderons en mémoire.

Mohamed vous reçoit comme si vous étiez des amis.
Nous avons pu préparer le repas du soir avec Aïcha.
La chambre est spacieuse et fraîche avec une salle de bain privée.
Un petit déjeuner incroyable avec des produits locaux.
Si vous voulez rayonner dans la région dans un cadre authentique, c’est l’adresse à retenir

You will experience incredibly delicious food (the best we had on our whole marocco trip), conversations that make you think deeply about life, an impressive nature close by and all in all an feeling of being at home.
Shukran for everything to Mohamed and Aicha and to the whole family! We will come back and will memorize this place with loads of good feelings!!

Reviewed Mar 29, 2026The hosts, Mohamed and Aïcha welcomed me as their friend, they were so nice and helpful and made me feel like family. Their house is pretty and comfortable enough, I truly appreciated the calm and laid back atmosphere. The area is remote, totally off tourists tracks, the scenery beautiful and the nearby beach fantastic. Aïcha's cooking is really excellent and I especially enjoyed sharing the meals with the whole family. My only wish is to return for a longer stay.
The first nights were a bit cold due to the rainy weather - luckily it improved for the rest of the stay.

La chambre parfaite avec nos enfants en bas ages. Qui d'ailleurs se sont fait copains sur place!
Les repas étaient délicieux (les meilleurs que nous avons mangé lors de notre sejour)

Reviewed Jan 28, 2026Everything! From initial contact via email to the day we left Mohammed, Aisha and family were such wonderful hosts and treated us like one of the family. Great communication and nothing too much trouble. They even finished decorating another bedroom in time for our visit so they could accomodate all 13 of my family! Perfect location for exploring the local area and extremely quiet at night so slept well! Mohammed helped us arrange visits to the local market and hamman, showed us some amazing caves and happily answered our numerous questions about the moroccan culture. And yes the other reviews are right.... Aisha's cooking is AMAZING and the best food we ate the entire trip. Cooking a tagine on the beach with her is a must. The kids are still talking about it. If you want a true moroccan experience then you'll love this place. We definitly hope to return again soon. Thankyou Mohammed and family x

Abbiamo cucinato insieme al mare e mangiato il miglior Tajine del Marocco, la cucina di Aisha è speciale !

It's nothing luxurious but covers needs
Big room, clean toilet and shower.
Beach is 10m car from stay
The tagine is best we eat on our morrow o trip big thanks to Aisha master cook.
Breakfast is really good .
Only down side if better an improve point .
Fan in rooms would be welcome.
We where there in August summer and (45degres also at night )

Reviewed Jul 31, 2025Die freundlichen und hilfsbereiten Gastgeber halfen uns bei allem. Es war ein wundervoller Aufenthalt und wir durften die authentische Erfahrung machen. Die ganze Familie hilft mir, ich durfte sogar in der Küche in die Töpfe schauen. Die Zimmer sind wunderschön und sehr sauber. Uns wurde der wunderschöne Strand gezeigt und ein leckeres Essen gekocht.Wir kommen wieder!

Reviewed Nov 25, 2024Sheikh Mohamed will go beyond expected to make your stay a success. The highlight is his sister, Sheikha Aisha, known in town for being a great chef, amazing breakfasts, tajine by the beach and tradicional dinners. It certainly couldn't be any more authentic, the house, the área, so rural without turists, the amazing beach feels private and the stars at night are astonishing.
Looking forward to goinc back and enjoy Aishas food and Mohameds conversations.

Reviewed Oct 9, 2024I’m not easily impressed, but Mohamed and his sister Aisha were fabulous! The name says it all - it’s super authentic! The food was the best I had in Morocco by far! Aisha is such a wonderful person and cook and Mohamed is an inspiration :)
The room was very comfortable and you can feel with how much love it was made. We helped Aisha with the cooking, we made a trip to the beach all together, had lunch and even cooked at the beach (which was amazing!) and we did a hiking trip with Mohamed which I cannot recommend enough! It is definitely a 10 of 10 and everybody who has the time should stay there and feel the vibe of a true Moroccan lifestyle (including the “singing” of the village donkeys ;) )
