Scooter kan je direct huren bij de accommodatie en je zit dichtbij alle bezienswaardigheden. Het is heel rustig, lekkere bedden en kleinschalig resort (2 kamers) ontbijt bij de prijs inbegrepen en je kan ook lunchen en dineren tegen redelijke prijzen. Zeer aan te bevelen, een echt pareltje op Bohol

We had a wonderful stay here. The rooms were beautiful, clean, and thoughtfully presented, making it feel comfortable and relaxing from the moment we arrived. The hosts were genuinely lovely and welcoming, always friendly and happy to help with anything we needed, which made the stay feel very easy and personal. Having a car made everything very convenient, and the location worked perfectly for us with attractions all nearby and easy to reach. Overall, a peaceful and enjoyable stay with great hospitality and lovely accommodation. We would happily stay here again.

Pour nos trois nuits à Bohol, nous avons bien apprécié le confort et le calme de cette maison d'hôtes familiale tenue par un Belge et sa femme philippine, avec l'aide de leur fille. Elle ne comprend que deux chambres mitoyennes, spacieuses et très confortables, installées au calme tout au fond d'un joli jardin verdoyant. Un petit frigo serait un plus appréciable...

Guesthouse un peu isolée et accès aux chambres pas très aisé. La cuisine du restaurant est correcte mais le service trop lent, surtout le matin : les cafés ont largement le temps de refroidir le temps que le reste du petit déjeuner arrive. De plus, un supplément est demandé pour avoir un expresso à la place d'un café instantané pas terrible. Nous n'avons malheureusement pas pu profiter de la belle piscine, marron à notre arrivée suite aux pluies diluviennes, et redevenue bleue le matin de notre départ et un petit geste commercial aurait été bienvenu, concernant justement les cafés par exemple.

2名用の部屋に5歳の子供と３人で泊まったので、ベッドが少し狭かった。二人なら問題ないと思う。移動手段が限られているが、前日にスタッフにお願いするとトゥクトゥクを手配してくれる

The room was perfect right in the middle of the forest. Easy access to panglass falls, tarsier sanctuary & cholate hills. Kate looked after us answered all our questions and gave us really good advice.

Food was slightly cold when served but I'm sure if we had mentioned it would have been rectified.

Le repas du soir ainsi que le petit-déjeuner étaient très copieux et excellents. L’établissement est également bien situé, proche des activités à faire sur l’île.

De ligging, de kamer, eten was prima, vriendelijke mensen, vlakbij chocolate hills en tarzierssanctuary.

Een paar kleine punten: zwembad tegels waren veel te glad, geen waterflesjes op de kamer, geen fohn, miste kleine handdoekjes, koffie bij het ontbjjt moet apart betaald worden, dat hebben we nergens anders gezien.

Wunderschöne Anlage und super freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal. Es war perfekt für unseren kurzen Aufenthalt auf der Hauptinsel, um die Sehenswürdigkeiten anzuschauen.

Heel mooi gelegen, veel privacy, ontzettend lief en behulpzaam gezin die de twee kamers runnen! Je hebt een heel gastvrij gevoel en ze denken erg met je mee!

Badkamers grenzen aan elkaar waardoor het in de badkamer een beetje gehorig is.

The breakfast was outstanding, as was all the food. Joanne is a sublime cook, and each meal was an experience of sight, taste and surprise. Joanne and Tony have created an oasis - a green paradise filled with beautiful plants, a manicured lawn, a coffee house, an on-site restaurant, big blue pool. The quiet location and the huge glass windows of your en-suite room make you feel like you are embraced by nature and the surrounding Forest. it is so beautiful, you feel special, spoilt, and so pleased that you chose to stay here. We were unexpectedly caught up in the typhoon, and they calmed us down, helped make alternative arrangements and were so kind. All our needs were thoughtfully catered to, and when we needed tricycle transport or anything else, they could not have been more helpful, arranging it for us. Kate, their lovely daughter, who looked after us in the restaurant, where we ate all our meals, is friendly, and each meal was a memorable experience. Cannot recommend this stay highly enough.

Die Unterkunft ist sehr ruhig gelegen mit einem schönen Garten und Restaurant, die Eigentümerin kocht selber und hat eine vielfältige Auswahl und ist jederzeit für ein Gespräch zu haben. Wir können die Unterkunft wärmsten empfehlen, auch die Lage zu den Sehenswürdigkeiten ist super.

Very very very good place — everything is perfect: great beds, great bathroom, great staffs, great kitchen, great swimming pool. Peaceful & quiet, it's easy to relax. The tourist attractions around are mostly natural places where we can observe nature and animals. We'll surely come back for relaxing!

So peaceful place run by family host! Everything was perfect for us. The location is perfect base for exploring bohol. We rented a scooter (which is almost new one), can go chocolate hill, loboc river, waterfalls, tarsier area easily. All the facilities were super clean and great! Pool is nice to swim. cafe next to the pool offer nice coffee and drinks. garden is peaceful. The host family is really kind and nice!! Can’t skip to mention about the food. Every meal of restaurant was awesome!! So we rearranged our schedule to eat at least one meal deliberately at their restaurant.

Our best stay in the Philippines! The room was beautiful, spacious and clean with both fan and a/c. We really enjoyed the quiet and peaceful environment and we loved the homemade food! Location is close to many tourist spots. Don't hesitate to book this place :)

The accommodation is extraordinary, in the middle of a garden, surrounded by greenery. The accommodation is very clean, the room and bathroom are large, with storage space. From the bedroom there is a gorgeous view of the garden. The guards are very kind and helpful. The food they prepare is delicious.

The room is simply amazing, huge, utterly clean and a beautiful modern bathroom with spotless amenities. Located in a beautiful garden the large window front is amazing with a view from the bed into the garden. It's located on the way to chocolate hills. There is a beautiful pool although I had unfortunately no time to enjoy it with a lovely coffee corner. Small restaurant also located amidst the garden. Lovely dog!

It would be amazing to have a real espresso included in the breakfast (if you like you need to order and pay extra). Other than that nothing!

It was just such a fantastic experience :-) Our hosts were so friendly and helpful right from the moment we arrived. We had many chats with them and they helped us with every query or question we had :-) We can't recommend this place enough! It's PERFECTLY located close to the Chocolate Hills and the Man-made Forest & Tarsier Conservancy so no long rides/drives to get to these attractions. A family run facility which offers fantastic accommodation, delicious Filipino dishes and regular meals and a great place to relax. We will most certainly be staying here again should we return to the Philippines :-)

Lovely garden, great people, tasty food. You can get there by bus (60 php tricycle from ferry to Taglibaran Bus Terminal + 100 php bus to Bilar) or taxi (800-2400 php)

During my recent trip to the Philippines, I had the pleasure of visiting some of its enchanting islands, and in the Pilar area, I found myself staying at the Forest Garden Residence, a small yet incredibly beautiful lodge. The place exuded tranquility and stunning natural beauty, but what truly made my stay special was the wonderful family running the place. Ms. Joanna and her daughter were some of the most wonderful people I’ve ever met. They were always ready to answer all my questions with love and passion, making navigating and exploring the area much easier and more enjoyable. No request was left unmet, and their continuous assistance added a great deal of comfort and joy to my stay. If you're planning to visit the Philippines, I highly recommend staying at the Forest Garden Residence. It won't just be a lodging experience; it will be a unique human experience that will add a touch of warmth and hospitality to your journey, one that you will remember forever.

Very nice hosts. Helpful and kind. Room was spacious with a modern and clean bathroom. Location is close to the Tarsier Sanctuary. You can easily rent a motorbike at the location to go to the Chocolate Hills.

We stay here 3 nights and havent got clean our room, but its just small thing.

This property was in a great location, away from the hustle & bustle. With just two bungalows on the complex, the staff were more than accommodating for us. The rooms were spacious & clean with air conditioning. The food at the resort was nice & reasonably price with breakfast included.

The amount of cockerels roaming around made it difficult to sleep, they were constantly making noise throughout the night & morning. No fridge in the room, this made it difficult when wanting a drink throughout the night.

Lovely room with a beautiful garden view. Tony, Joanne and Kate are great hosts and the meals were fantastic! The residence is very close to all the major viewpoints such as the chocolate hills, tarsiers, man made forest and Loboc river. They arranged a scooter which was perfect.

The pool did not look very inviting but they plan to renovate.

Where to start … we stayed in a few other hotels in the Philippines before our arrival and some with a much higher price and none match the quality we have encountered here. The rooms are nice spacious and clean. The food is really good and very affordable and Tony’s family is more than inviting. They were so helpful and nice, truly a wonderful experience. In top of all of this you could not find a better location, they are right in the middle of all the activities. Also, they can rent you a scooter and ours was as good as new. If you are going to Bohol, this is the best accommodation you will find.

If a really have to give one, it would be the pool. But by the time you read this review it might already be fixed.

Everything was great. I loved my bungalow/room with the big glass windows. You have a view to the beautiful garden and can sit on your terrace as well. The room and bathroom is huge and nicely decorated. If you like being a bit off crowded places and want some peace and quiet, that's the place to go. It's a small family run business. You will feel very welcomed. Enjoy their homecooked and delicious food menu. It's located close to the chocolate hills (20mins by scooter) and one of the Tarsier sanctuaries (5min drive). I wanted to be close to those 2 sights and staying away from the hustle and bustle of Alona beach. You will need a scooter or car to get your way around but they will help you to rent a scooter to a fair price.

No complaints! You might not like it if you want to be around busy lively areas. But that's why I chose it. The residence is not suitable for more than 4 people (2 bungalows with double bed available only). So all positive for me as I needed some me-time to rest.

It's a family owned place, the family is absolutely lovely! The place has a perfect location - we went to see the sunrise in the chocolate hills as it was nearby. It's close to the Man made forest and tarsier sanctuary. We really enjoyed the facilities and loved mango pancakes for breakfast!

We were looking for accommodation close to Rajah Sikatuna National Park and it was close. The breakfasts (and meals in general) were delicious.

Beautiful spot with a great room incl. private terrasse in the middle of a paradise-like garden. The standard is much higher than in comparable accommodations. Tony & Joan are very welcoming and courteous hosts, dinner was great too. We loved everything about it!

Tony and his wife gave us a warm welcome. The two bungalows and the rooms are very well equipped and the level surpasses many comparable accommodations. The roofed terrace built in the garden is a beautiful place for dinner and breakfast. The music was great. The accommodation is highly recommended and within easy reach of the Chocolate Hills and Pangas Falls.

Really nice getaway, the room was spacious and peaceful. We enjoyed the restaurant amongst the green nature.

A great place for couples to come and unwind. The restaurant is only open for guests and the owner cooks delicious Filipino food.
