El desayuno muy bueno Y completo, y el personal muy atento

Lo único es que no pasaron ningún día a hacer la habitación, al ser un destino con arena se ensucia bastante fácil.

El alojamiento tenía varios detalles que hacían la estancia muy cómoda: dispensador de agua, nevera en la habitación y colgadores para la ropa sucia. Además, limpiaban la habitación todos los días. También ofrecían excursiones y se encargaban de gestionar los speedboats, lo que facilitaba mucho la organización del viaje.

El único aspecto que mejoraríamos sería ampliar un poco el horario del desayuno. Por lo demás, todo estuvo genial y no tenemos ninguna queja.

This place was lovely ! Staff picked our luggage from the pier and took it to accom, they was friendly , bed was SO comfy , breakfast was good and different each day. Cut cats about, next to the beach!

The shower sometimes had a weird smell but we just closed the door.

La habitación es muy bonita y la cama muy grande y cómoda. Se hizo overbooking y me quedé sin la segunda noche, pero el mismo chico me gestionó la segunda noche que tenía con ellos, fué un detalle por su parte.

As small Island makes the location not far from the beach. Only the ground floor makes it easy to entrance. Owner and Staff are very helpful. The bathroom is a good size, but the floor tiles are slippery. My friend slipped and fell. Fortunately, they are okay, but this is a safety concern

We almost We almost missed our speedboat to Fulidhoo despite double-checking with the property and the airport counter. We waited for a long time and asked the counter staff 4 times, but they just kept telling us to wait. Five minutes before departure, a new staff member finally helped us. We reached the boat late and felt very uncomfortable because all the other passengers were staring at us. It was a very stressful start to our trip.

Es war sauber, Klima funktionierte und wir wurden bei der Ferry abgeholt. Auch die Organisation des Speedboats klappte holprig nach mehrmaligen Nachfragen, da selbstständig keine Informationen geliefert wurden…

- sehr unfreundlicher hastiger Empfang, haben uns be/gedrängt die Kosten des Speedboats auf der Stelle begleichen - die EcoTax wird nicht auf Booking vermerkt und wird vor Ort extra eingefordert (für mehr Transparenz vielleicht einfach erwähnen, dass dies nicht inklusive beim Zimmerpreis dabei ist) -Kein Room-Service ohne Nachfrage - Frühstück kein gutes Preis/Leistungsverhältnis (würde empfehlen stattdessen in einem Café 100m weiter etwas zu frühstücken unabhängig von der Unterkunft)

Cats are really friendly

The pictures are a bit misleading. I traveled with a friend and was looking for a room with two beds. I didn’t check the room details carefully and relied on the photos, which all show rooms with two beds. However, when we arrived, only one bed had covers and we were asked to pay an additional $10 for them to add the cover of the other bed. I currently work in the Maldives and my friend is Maldivian, but the staff still insisted on charging us the green tax. We had to explain multiple times and show screenshots of the regulation stating that green tax is exempt for Maldivian citizens and people with a valid work permit before they finally acknowledged it. Everyone was so nice in this island, local people even invited us home for dinner, this is the only place that we didn’t feel that welcomed.

This place is run by truly amazing people. From the very first moment, they made me feel welcome, safe, and well taken care of. The staff are incredibly kind, friendly, and always ready to help with anything. They provide clear and detailed information about everything — from activities to logistics — and they also help organize the transfer from Malé airport, which makes the journey very easy and stress-free. You can arrange lunches or dinners, as well as many exciting activities: fishing, swimming with sharks, snorkeling with rays, drone filming with sharks and rays, and much more. Everything is well organized and feels very safe. As a solo traveler, safety was extremely important to me, and I felt completely comfortable here. The hotel is very clean and well maintained — everything is tidy and in perfect order. Huge thanks to the whole team for their care, professionalism, and warm attitude. I truly enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend this place. Everything was just perfect!

The rooms were very clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay. We were also able to borrow snorkeling gear and fins from the hotel, which was really nice. The staff were very friendly, and they picked us up and dropped us off at the pier upon arrival and departure. The breakfast was also very good, and they helped us book tours and excursions. We would 100% recommend the nurse shark, dolphin, and turtle tour — it was the best tour of my life! Would definitely recommend this place!

The hotel's location is very convenient, close to the dock, and the breakfast provided every day is different, especially delicious. The room is very large, with two beds. Las personas que trabajan allí son muy amables y dispuestos ayudarte en todo lo que necesites. Las habitaciones son muy amplias y baños reformados. Está muy cerca de todo (playas,restaurantes...) Muy contentos con la selección del alojamiento. Gracias!

Nice location , clean and chill

Estaba bien, estaba limpio y demas. Pero los chicos cuando llegamos a la isla cuando vieron que llevabamos la moneda local y no euros/dolares nos dijeron que ahi su moneda era mas cara y nosotros llevabamos el dinero justo para pagar el ferry y poco mas y nos dejaron a 0, estas cosas se avisan antes con antelación. Para pasar un par de noche esta bien

La atención de los chicos que trabajaban allí fue increíble, se fijaban en todos los detalles y eran muy serviciales. Si alguna vez volvemos a Fulidhoo repetiremos sin duda.

Very friendly staff, greeted us at the port and dropped us off on the day we departed. Staff provided breakfast in the morning which was nice. They also give us local recommendations for the island. Rooms were basic but clean and tidy.

They welcome us and treat us very well! Also every day they change the breakfast so we could eat different things. The tour guide took amazing videos of us.

The room was very clean and the breakfast was good. Location was good too, but the island it’s so small that wherever you are staying the beach its just 2 steps away. The also have coffee and water accesible all day. They pick you up from port and drop you off when you depart. The staff was very friendly and always eager to help, and chat with you, we really felt at home here. The room has a small fridge so you can cool your water. And there are furniture and benches for you to place all your staff nicely. Internet was algo good. The island has a couple of places where you can have lunch and dinner, and the price is good value. For the value we paid this place was gold.

We stayed in room 5, and the fan has no speeds, it’s just running on the fastest and it was too much for us. All the rooms have AC, it’s just that we rather used a fan as we do not like AC’s. Apart from that everything was great.

The hotel was clean with a huge room, super comfortable bed and pillows, and excellent air conditioning. Staff, especially Shofike, was very helpful. Breakfast was delicious, and there were cute cats hanging around outside which added to the charm. They also offer well-priced activities like feeding stingrays (9am–11am), excursion trips, and boat transfers. There’s a nice chilling area with chairs and shade to relax. Wifi connection is okay.

Some downsides: they seem short on staff, so you’ll need to request things like blankets or room cleaning (which isn’t done daily unless asked). The dining/common area has a microwave, but staff needs to assist if you want to use it—it’d be more convenient if guests could access it freely.

We felt so welcomed and well taken care of. We’ve been in Hathaa with our 4 year old daughter for 8 nights. This is the best place for a family. It’s very close to the beach where we snorkeled among the colorful fish and our daughter could play with the local kids. On the other side (also very close by) is the beach where every day we’ve seen sting rays and sharks. We highly recommend taking a trip to swim with sharks, dolphins and turtles that is offered here. Thank you for everything! These were the best holidays we’ve ever had!

You dont get to see the sea from your hotel, but it is just a few steps away. But from the first minute i stepped on the island there was a hotel staff member who picked me up, took my backpack and led me to the hotel. After a welcome drink I was provided with the room keys and short explanation how everything works. Buffet breakfast is nice even with fruit and cakes and they alter it every day. Hotel also provides nice snorchelling excursions.

The breakfast was very good, homemade with excellent local products. The presence of air conditioning in the room. The 24/7 availability of the two guys, Shofike and the other one whose name I can't remember. They helped us a lot, especially when we arrived and when we left, taking us to the jetty for Malè at 6:30 AM.

I feel sorry to write this review because the two guys running this place deserve a 10+ for their effort, but reviews are here to help travelers book the right place to stay, and this place is a humble and basic one, which does not deserve more than a 5. I didn't book this place because it was cheap – it wasn't. I booked it because of the reviews, which I now really can't understand after being here. The property is very humble, and I don’t have an issue with that, but the photos are misleading and give false expectations to those who book. It seemed like I had booked a room with a balcony, but all the rooms are on the ground floor and open onto an inner garden. If you want some privacy, you need to keep the curtains closed, which means there’s never any natural light in the room. I am used to showering with very hot water, even when it’s 30°C outside. The water is warm, but it never gets truly hot. I went scuba diving and came back cold, and not being able to take a piping hot shower was unpleasant. You’d better hope it doesn’t rain during the night. I don’t know what material the roof is made of, but it sounded like there was an incredible storm. The noise was absurd! I went outside to check, and it was quieter—it was just normal rain 😅. I didn’t sleep for two nights because of the racket. The towels (I had read a review from a year ago about this) were stained. Clean, yes, but if you’re paying €440 for four nights, those towels shouldn’t be there 😅. For practically the same price and less, I could have stayed in a proper hotel and not in a place like this. The photos and reviews tricked me! Again, I could have given a 10 like others, but that wouldn’t be an honest evaluation. If you want to run a business like this, you need to meet the standards to justify charging nearly the same as other properties.

The stuff was friendly and welcoming, and food was delicious. They also offer dinner options, along with exciting excursions that include snorkeling and rental for masks and fins. Higly recommended, we can't wait to return!

The staff treated us with respect and went above and beyond to make sure we had a trip to remember! From the initial comms to the way we were greeted upon arrival and departure and everything in between! The meals were delicious and made to the standards you would make for a family member, and they were lovely enough to cater to our dietary requirements (including a plant-based diet). They brought us out on incredible tours to visit marine life taking into account everyone's varied preferences. We felt safe during the tours and our captain for those boat tours went above and beyond to keep us safe out there. He knew where everyone was at any given time and even redirected other boats away from us. They made us feel so special and were warm and kind.

Very nice new apartment, 5 min walk to the bikini beach. Many restaurants, lovely local people. Owner's helpful, breakfast was delicious. We stayed 5 nights. Lajos & Krisztina.

The staff was amazing. The owners of the guest house were so friendly and accommodating. They helped us with everything and even made a local dish for us for lunch one day and didn't even charge us anything for it. The rooms were so clean and the bathroom was spacious. The whole aura of the guest house was beautiful and safe. It was near the beach also, hardly 2 mins walk. I would definitely recommend other people to stay here as it gave us great value for money.

The breakfast could have been better.

Everything is perfect here, quiet, peaceful and comfortable, the Manager Hassan Areeb here arranged wonderful trips for us, and the breakfast, lunch and dinner here are the best, better than other restaurants. What's more, I got sick during the stay, and all the stuff here were very helpful and arranged medical consult and treatment for me immediately, they were with me all the time during consult and made me feel at home. I really appreciate everything they offered, and it is my best memory of vacation ever. Highly recommended and I hope everyone can enjoy vacation here with Hathaa Retreat!
