Muy bonita la cabaña.

No tienen clima pero se duerme a gusto con los ventiladores.

Son unas cabañas preciosas construidas al estilo Maya, muy cómodas y con todo lo necesario. Las personas que lo regentan son encantadoras, todo el rato pendientes de que tu estancia sea perfecta, tanto en las cabañas como en Celestún. Muchas gracias Mary y Onésimo!!! Y encima nos ofrecieron un desayuno buenísimo y muy sano. Además vimos como cuidan los ecosistemas de la zona, algo muy positivo y necesario, no solo para Celestún, sino para todo el planeta. Las cabañas no son solo un alojamiento, es una experiencia completa.

De cabanas zijn ontzettend leuk, het ontbijt is heerlijk (fruit, granola en iets van een cake), het strand op een steenworp afstand en de host is top! De hondjes zijn ook een hele leuk toevoeging. :)

Douche zat onder haren van vorige gasten, geen heet water en geen airconditioning.

Oenacio a été extrêmement accueillant. Nous avons en plus fait une excursion avec lui dans la mangrove qui a été extrêmement intéressante. Confort plutôt simple mais très bon endroit pour un vrai échange avec la culture mexicaine et Maya. L’accès à la plage est à 60m.

Très bel endroit avec des cabanes bien équipées et très proches d une belle plage et d une eau turquoise. Le petit déjeuner proposé est avec des fruits, du granola du pain. Le lieu dispose d une cuisine commune et de vélos. Je vous conseille de prendre l excursion proposée pour découvrir la mangrove et les flamants rose. La famille est aux petits soins pour rendre votre séjour le plus agréable possible.

Las cabañas son muy bonitas, están limpias y están separadas unas de otras para dar un poco más de privacidad. El personal es amable y atento.

El calor se encierra relativamente rápido en la cabaña y únicamente hay ventilador, nosotros fuimos cuando empezaba la temporada de lluvias así que no fue gran problema. Para el desayuno esperaba algo más que fruta, agua natural y el café americano. Aunque está sobre la calle principal, los restaurantes y demás están algo lejos a pie.

Me encantó la ubicación ya que estás muy cerca de la playa, las cabañas están en perfecto estado y tienen todo lo básico necesario. Onésimo y su familia fueron increíbles, muy amables, atentos y serviciales, nos hicieron sentir como en casa. Les recomiendo tomar el tour de los manglares con ellos ya que vale 100% la inversión (que por cierto, fue muy buen precio). Espero regresar y los recomiendo ampliamente.

L’accueil du patron qui a été aux petits soins avec nous, la propreté, très proche de la plage. Nous avons pris une sortie dans la lagune, c’est le patron qui nous a envoyé avec son tuk-tuk, il nous a montré les flamants roses, les ratons laveurs. Super belle expérience.

Excelente servicio y atención de Onesimo y su familia, disfrutas de un mar tranquilo,limpio y muy seguro en su relieve plano.Celestum es un paraíso de aves y manglares.

Nada todo es hermoso

Reonaldo es un gran anfitrión: muy amable, servicial, platicador y siempre dispuesto a ayudar. Además, da excelentes recomendaciones de restaurantes y actividades en la zona, y se nota que realmente se preocupa porque tengas una buena experiencia. Las cabañas están muy bien equipadas para el tipo de experiencia que ofrecen. Aunque no tienen aire acondicionado, cuentan con ventilador y realmente es suficiente. Todo estaba limpio y cómodo, el internet funciona muy bien y las habitaciones tienen lo necesario para pasar una estancia muy agradable. Otro punto muy bueno es el desayuno incluido: fruta, café o té y pan dulce. Todo muy rico y perfecto para empezar el día relajado. El lugar es ideal para desconectarse y descansar. Celestún ya es un destino tranquilo, pero aquí realmente sientes que estás en medio de la naturaleza y lejos del ruido. Es una excelente opción para relajarse por completo. Además, aunque no lleves coche, se puede llegar fácilmente en mototaxi.

J'ai beaucoup aimé l'accueil de Reanoldo, une personne pétillante, très flexible et solaire qui n'a pas compté ses efforts pour créer ce lieux exceptionnel. Il nous a même prêté des vélos pour nous rendre sur la plage. Je recommande les yeux fermés.

Les rideaux de la fenêtre ne fermaient pas mais c'est un détail car tout le reste était fabuleux

Excelente atencion, las cabañas amplias, comodas y limpias, incluye un desayuno sano y rico. El Dueño del lugar muy amable y atento. Lo mejor fueron las mascotas del lugar muy cariñosas y educadas, son las primeras en recibirte. La atencion supera por mucho el costo. Super recomendadisimo!

Disfruté enormemente mi estancia en Los Cinco Elementos! El anfitrión siempre esta pendiente a las necesidades de sus huéspedes y me ayudó arreglar mi transportación (en bicicleta que puede pedir prestar!) en la playa y también para regresar a Mérida el fin de la estancia! La cabaña es preciosa, bien cómoda y con todo lo que necesitaba para relajar mucho en mi tiempo allá. Los espacios comunes también son lindos y es bien fácil caminar unos minutitos a la playa. Gracias y espero regresar!

Tout. Le charme et l'emplacement des cabanes à 2 pas de la plage. Gentillesse et disponibilité de notre hôte Réonaldo qui partage ses bons conseils. Prêt de vélo. Il s'est occupé de notre excursion dans la mangrove à un tarif negocié. Le petit déjeuner excellent. Nous y avons passé 2 nuits et nous recommandons vraiment cet hébergement. Un grand merci à Réonaldo.

Nuestra estancia en Cabaña 5 Elementos fue simplemente inolvidable. Es un lugar encantador, diseñado para desconectar y disfrutar de la tranquilidad absoluta. Nos encantaron los espacios comunes, llenos de hamacas y sofás donde el tiempo parece detenerse. Las cabañas son súper acogedoras y están equipadas con mosquiteras, lo cual se agradece mucho. Además, destaca su arquitectura que respeta totalmente la sostenibilidad del entorno, integrándose de forma natural con el paisaje. Mención especial para el anfitrión, que es majísimo y estuvo siempre disponible. No solo nos prestó unas bicicletas para recorrer el pueblo, sino que nos dio los mejores consejos para nuestro viaje por la península. Sin duda, un lugar que llevaremos en el corazón.

Les petites cabanes dispose de tout ce que nous avons besoin, le propriétaire est aux petits soins, les chiens sont très accueillant. La proximité avec la ville et la mer. C’est un endroit très reposant!

It’s was in a quite area which we liked a lot, yet everything was quite reachable because the owner provided bicycles that you can borrow. The kanu tour recommended at Cabanas Cinco Elementos was the cheapest we could get at Celestun, plus we had a very nice guide who was very into his job and well educated about the mangroves and animals.

Super logement, très bon petit déjeuner. Ronaldo est vraiment un super hôte! On est passés par lui pour faire une excursion en bateau et c’était vraiment très bien. Merci à lui pour tout ses bons conseils et son super accueil.

Super endroit plein de charme, on a beaucoup aimé dormir dans une cabane, c’est très confortable et Reonaldo est très sympa, c’est un plaisir de résider chez lui ! Bonus pour ses conseils, le petit-déjeuner qui est bien pratique et la situation géographique !

I had a truly lovely stay. The place is very cozy, thoughtfully designed, and created with great care and a strong sense of style. The owner was very welcoming and attentive, doing everything possible to make my stay comfortable. He also helped organize a beautiful boat tour through the canals to observe birds, and recommended excellent restaurants. The whole place has a special, warm atmosphere — you can really feel the heart behind it. Highly recommended.

Der Besitzer Reonsldo und auch sein Personal sind freundlich und gut gelaunt und kümmern sich sehr engagiert darum, den Gästen einen unbeschwerten Urlaub zu ermöglichen. Das Frühstück draußen in ansprechendem, gemütlichem Ambiente ist sehr gut. Es gibt einen Obstteller, bei uns mit frischer Ananas, Papaya und Melone. Dazu eine kleines Schälchen Müsli aus Korn und Nüssen. Zum leckeren Brötchen gibt es Honig. Das Gästehäuschen mit Jutedach fand ich sehr gemütlich. Es hat ein eigenes Bad und einen Kühlschrank. Die Anlage ist nicht groß, sodass sie auf mich sehr persönlich wirkte. Auch die Lage fand ich sehr ansprechend. Außerhalb des Zentrums, das aber in 5 bis 15 Minuten zu erreichen ist, je nachdem, ob zu Fuß oder mit einem der Fahrräder, die das Hotel zur Verfügung stellt. Zum Strand sind es zu Fuß 5 Minuten. Geht man dann noch 5 Minuten weiter stadtauswärts, hat man den weißen Sand mit den vielen Muscheln fast für sich Ich fühlte mich unheimlich wohl. Die "Cabañas Cinco Elementos" ließen meine Seele baumeln. Ganz lieben Dank Reonaldo für wunderbare 3 Tage!

La struttura é nuova, esattamente come nelle foto, il posto è pulito. Le “capanne” sono delle chicche, ampie e ventilate (c’è l’acqua calda). Il proprietario è italiano e tiene molto alla cura di tutto e dei suoi ospiti. Colazione non abbondante, ma con frutta fresca e caffè a volontà. Posizione a un km dal centro, ma vicina ad una tranquilla spiaggia libera. Consigliatissimo.

A wonderful and laid back place about a 20 minute walk from town. Reonaldo is a great host, very attentive and knowledgeable about the area. If you are looking for something a little different and fitting to the vibe of Celestun then you'll love the cabanas.

Reonaldo is een leuke gast en hij heeft de plek heel sfeervol ingericht. Zeker aanbevolen!

Het is een stukje lopen naar het "dorp" (maar er zijn ook fietsen beschikbaar)

Zeer vriendelijke eigenaar, fietsen gratis lenen, weer eens wat anders dan een hotelkamer. Fijne sfeer, ontbijt met koffie/ fruit en brood.

Jammer dat de watertoevoer beperkt was, douchen met een kleine straal en warm/ koud lastig in te stellen.

Die Unterkünfte sind sehr gut ausgestattet es gibt eine Dusche es gibt warmes Wasser alles war sehr angenehm und sehr sauber. Reonaldo hat sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert hat Optionen für Touren angeboten und eine Tour organisiert. Hat uns viele Tipps gegeben.

Very nice host who has good recommendations for food, tours and places to visit in Celestun.

Reonaldo ist ein sympathischer und um das Gästewohl besorgter Gastgeber. Er informiert (Sonnenuntergang, Gastronomie) und kümmert sich (Bootstour zu den Flamingos und Alternativen). Die Cabañas sind ein lustiges Abenteuer, auf das man sich einlassen sollte. Das ist ein guter Kontrast zu anderen Hotelarten und macht insbes. Spass, wenn es sich um eine laue Sommermacht handelt. Frühstück/Verpflegung ist okay.

Ronaldo ist ein sehr netter Gastgeber mit guten Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen und Restaurants. Die Cabanas sind einfach aber gut ausgestattet. Man hat alles was man braucht. Dazu frisches Obst zum Frühstück und immer gratis Wasser. Es gibt die Möglichkeit umsonst Fahrräder auszuleihen. Ein Ort zum Entspannen und um das Meer zu genießen. Auch die Mangroventour ist sehr zu empfehlen.

L accès difficile par un chemin chaotique, la coupure d eau et le restaurant

L'emplacement, un peu après le centre ville, permet de profiter du calme et de la sublime plage sans foule alentours. La cabane est très belle, propre, confortable et bien équipée. Mais le must a été notre hôte chaleureux qui nous a très bien conseillé et aidé au cours de notre séjour! Une super adresse à Celestun.

Absolutely beautiful, quiet place near the edge of Celestun. Right across the street from a quiet beach where we had the whole beach to ourselves in the mornings and even saw dolphins swimming. The cabanas are very clean, comfortable and have a lovely ambience. Reonaldo is an excellent host and someone who does a lot for the community. We had some great conversations. He and the staff were very kind and helpful, and they have built a very special place. The breakfasts were excellent and they served very good strong coffee! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this little slice of paradise.

The only thing I can suggest to improve is that the bed was a little bit hard - but we like quite soft beds with lots of pillows :)

A lovely place to stay for a few nights - we weren't sure whether celestun would be for us, but the reviews for this place convinced us and we were extremely glad we came! The accomodation is very comfortable, a minute from the beach and the team working there are lovely. We didn't have a car, so got a taxi there from Merida and were offered free use of the bikes to get around. It was brilliant and we'd highly recommend!

Location and long lonely beach

Very charming, very unique. Perfect balance of rustic and comfort.

We really enjoyed our stay here! Our cabana (Aire) was very clean, with comfortable bed and very good shower pressure. We also liked ample storage space and thoughtful decorative touches.The whole property is very well maintained. However, what we liked the most was our host Reonaldo who was very attentive, responsive and friendly, making us instantly feeling "at home". Coming back from the "Dawn in the mangroves" tour with Guardianes de los manglares de Dzinintun (also highly recommended) he surprised us with a complimentary breakfast, which was highly appreciated.

The only downside was that we could not stay longer.

I had a wonderful 4 nights stay at the Cabanas and I wish I could stay longer. The owners, Reonaldo and his wife are living there and they are amazing hosts, suggested best tours, best restaurants, tips to get around and what to do! They have a passion for hospitality! The cabana itself is lovely, it naturally keeps the temperature cool, and making it pleasant to stay, the bed is very comfortable and it's quite at night, you can hear the sound of the waves a little bit. There are bikes to use for guests at no extra cost and it's useful to get around to see flamingos for example. It's just 3 mins walk to the beach, and a lovely breakfast including fresh fruits and coconut ! When I was leaving, Reonaldo happened to drive to Merida so he dropped me there, which was so kind of him I hope to come back soon!

Reonaldo is a fabulous host, charming, informative and ready to help. The canoe trip with Efrain through the mangroves that he recommended was splendid The cabanas are beautiful and the beach is only a short walk away.

Cabañas Cinco Elements are 5 traditional cabins situated a little way out of the small but busy centre of Celestun in a pretty garden at the edge of town. The rooms are clean with comfy beds and plenty of storage space for clothes. Bikes are provided to cycle the 2 minute ride into the centre which we used to get to the great restaurants Ronaldo recommended. The whole place reflects the love and hard work which Ronaldo has used to create it. We could easily walk to the beach opposite to swim and it was lovely and quiet. Ronaldo also helped us arrange a tour of the mangroves and flamingos which was excellent. We loved staying here and had a couple of very happy days relaxing.

The rooms were very special and well taken care of. The host, Reonaldo, was delightful — warm and welcoming, accommodating, and helpful with our vacation plans.

Comfort. Rather than confined by a hotel room, this limited room establishment has a small but nice yard, where guests hangout mornings, afternoon, and evening. Everything is cozy and kids loved swing and hammock

Owners go over and above to help you out! Super cool decor. Super safe. Totally clean. The fans were completely sufficient to sleep at night and even to keep us cool at the hottest part of the day. Having a fridge in the room was extremely convenient. We are glad to support a business that supports the local community. ❤️ Gave great advice about tours and eats!

The beautiful cabañas are located towards the end of the town, in the quiet of chirping birds and super close to the beach. Reonaldo is a great host, dedicated to quality and putting attention to detail. The cabaña is spacious, the bed is super comfortable. Very happy to have spent some days here!

It was perfect

We loved the beautiful house we stayed and the conversations with Reonaldo. The houses are beautiful designed with a comfortable bed and hot shower. We had a warm welcome and the crazy thing is that I wanted coconut water and my partner wanted a mango. Reonaldo offered both a coconut from the tree and a fresh mango without knowing we wanted them. It tasted so good! Maya the dog and Agata (the roof climbing) cat are very sweet companions that live with Reonaldo and made our stay even better. Celestún is a wonderful little beach town and from the houses it’s a short walk to a pretty beach with quiet blue ocean water. We booked a kayaking trip through an organization that Reonaldo recommended and it was one of the highlights of our trip. Such beautiful nature and so much to see. Will definitely come back!

Really nice cabañas in a quiet area. The accomodation was big enough for two persons. The host was really friendly and helpful, and wanted our best for the stay. He also offered some bikecycles for the stay, and that was really helpful to get around. The host offered service beyond what is expected of a place to stay.

Owner was extremely accommodating. We had early morning plans and he served us a great breakfast outside of the usual hours.

Wonderful peaceful luxury cabins, close to the beach. We loved everything about our stay here, especially borrowing bikes to find deserted beaches! Reonaldo was the perfect host.

Nothing to dislike

The breakfast was delightful. The host was very kind and provided coffee to us prior to our needing to leave to go kayaking in the mangroves prior to sunrise. We then had our full breakfast when we returned 4 hours later.

You get much more amenities than you would expect from a cabaña, the location is just perfect (50m from the ocean) and the beach in Celestun is still pristine. The owners are very friendly and helpful and organised the mangrove tour for me with pick up at the hotel. As a bonus, the owner took a coconut directly from the tree and opened it for me. I will be back

The cabins are meticulously clean, comfortable and well maintained. Away from the centre of Celestun, but still within walking distance, their location is quiet and peaceful. There is access to the beach down a short track just along the road. Our simple breakfast was enjoyed after an early morning trip birdwatching by canoe -ask Ronaldo for contact details. We were honoured to sample slices of Rinaldo's first ever home-grown papaya! Plenty of drinking water is available from the kitchen. We wished we'd had time to stay longer.

Just a wonderful stay! Totally unexpected. The place was super clean, bed was comfortable and the cabanas was just a wonderful experience with the wood feel and high ceiling. It rained during our stay and the cabanas are totally rigid and take any weather: there’s a shower and washroom even toiletries. The host provided us with bikes to use during our stay which was fantastic. It was a pleasure chatting with our host Renolado who catered to our every need. There was a nice common “bar” area with a fridge, sink and a kitchenette that we kept our fruits and yogurts in the fridge for our use. Our host had breakfast for us next morning as well as coffee. He gave us good restaurant recommendations in the area as well as in Merida where we were heading next. Out of all the hotels in that area, by far this is the best choice and that I would recommend. It’s own oasis that is tactfully designed not to mention is a new design. There is a pretty common area where you can sit at night and relax which we did. Every detail was thought of even hammocks if you’re in the mood for relaxation.

Very nice and communicative host! He gives recommendations and serves a small breakfast with coffee or tee. There is also a kitchen, that you can use, which we didn’t know when we booked. It was a really nice stay.

Accommodation sympathetic to the environment rather than a big Shilton hotel room. In a lovely location. Very tasteful cabanas . Ronaldo was very attentive and helpful and I would highly recommend this place to stay. We wish we had more than one night

The amenities in the cabin were of high quality and you’re still in the middle of nature, it’s amazing! The breakfast is healthy and vegan/vegetarian.

The mosquitoes were annoying, but at this time of the year they are everywhere.

Reonaldo was such an amazing host! He was so helpful and accommodating, making sure that we had everything that we needed. He even drove us to the bus station on our last day when we were having issues getting a taxi and were close to missing our bus. The Cabaña was comfortable and clean. We had use of a fridge and facilities in the shared kitchen/bar. The beach was just across the road and was totally deserted - we felt like we were the only ones there! The Cabañas are a little bit of out the main town, but we had free use of bikes to get around. Celestún is such a beautiful and friendly little town. Definitely our favourite place during our trip. Make sure that you go on the mangroves boat tour - Alex was a wonderful guide!

Celestun seems to be at a crossroads of: dusty sleepy fishing village vs a proper Mexican tourist town (with all the problems that brings) with emphasis on the former) Reynaldo knows this and is positioning his enterprise on this transition. He is a very attentive host to his guests and makes sure you feel looked after. Celestun in April can be brutally hot so more shade is a must for this wonderful paradise. We had a wonderful 3 nights here and we give this a total recommendation.

make sure you understand that it may not be possible to see the flamingos in full bloom...in other words we saw one wooden crocodile eye on a boat tour and the same flamingo in 2 days.

Extended our stay as we liked it so much. A little bit out of town but they gave us bikes and we used those to get everywhere.
