The view from the terrace was wonderful and the whole place was warm and clean. Breakfast was great and the hostess was very kind.

We booked a bedroom for three and it was extremely small. It was a 3 tier bunk bed. Not so comfortable.

Es pequeña y equipamiento muy básico

Acomodação muito aconchegante, com toda estrutura para minha família. Ficamos em uma acomodação completa. Cozinha, quarto e sala para 6 pessoas. Local próximo do parque farellones. O café da manhã servido no quarto é muito gostoso. Os funcionários não muito atencioso, principalmente a Gabriela, uma Brasileira, o que facilita a comunicação na hospedagem.

A acomodação é de madeira e era possível ouvir os passos no andar superior. O chuveiro não era bom. Apenas um chuveirinho na altura da cabeça, com o jato para o alto, o que dificultou o banho principalmente das crianças.

The shared chalet style atmosphere and we met some really nice people.

There was a strong smell of gas/kerosene in our room throughout our stay and ultimately after two nights we decided to leave the property as it could not be rectified.

Gostei muito da acomodação, à vista das montanhas, ambiente bem aconchegante e fomos muito bem recebidos.

Impecável! Julieta e Gabriela foram atenciosas, nos ajudaram muito. O ambiente acolhedor e climatizado, organizado, limpo. A comida maravilhosa! Comemos pizza de calabresa e lasanha, estavam muy ricas! Vimos o pôr do sol nas montanhas, foi inesquecível. Recomendamos fortemente Hostal CUMBRES. É uma hospedagem que carrega historia.

Tudo! Tudo perfeito, funcionários incríveis, fomos tratados muito muito bem. Gabi e Julieta são pessoas maravilhosas! Café da manhã nota 10, quarto aconchegante, quentinho, pegamos muita neve e saiu tudo mais do que o sonhado. O que mais gostamos foi o chuveiro, nosso outro hotel em Santiago é banheira, então tomar uma chuveirada quente, conseguir lavar o cabelo foi sensacional rs. Só gratidão!

Muy comodo se sentia como estar en casa

Levei uma multa por deixar o carro estacionado em frente ao hostel, no anuncio fala que tem garagem, realmente tem muito espaço na frente, porem fui multado.

Ha sido una experiencia maravillosa... es un hotel familiar atendido por sus dueños y un equipo muy atento y cálido... siempre pendientes de tus requerimientos, serviciales, atentos y muy amables...excelente comunicación desde la reserva!!! La ubicación...vistas...instalaciones...son perfectas...Agradecemos a: Monica, Gonzalo, Cuqui, Carolina y la Magdalena por tan excelente atención 😀

O café da manhã é servido no auarto, tudo novinho e delicioso

La cercanía de las canchas obvio.

No tenían toallas y 1 de las habitaciones muy fría sin calefacción, eso mejoraría. Lo de las toallas porque yo pregunte a la encargada si tenían toallas y me dijo que si.

This was not a hostel, it was a converted family home that added extra walls and bedrooms to fit as many people as possible. None of the rooms had locking doors, we weren't allowed to use the kitchen, the staff was unfriendly and did not have any knowledge of the local area and the owners have not properly registered with their bank to process payments in dollars to allow the guests to save the 20% VAT tax they should not have have to pay. At $200 a night per room I do not take sympathy at needing to do paperwork at a bank and getting a second credit card machine when $30 a night hostels in Patagonia have done it.

Breakfast

Lots of hidden costs and dishonest charging practices. Website clearly stated a price in usd but the hotel uses a dishonest and terrible rate to convert that amount into chilean pesos far lower than the official rate provided by the Chilean central bank. Resulting in charges of more than an extra 35usd per night. When this was disputed they stated the only way to have the 220 usd rate was to pay in usd cash (not credit card) which is absurd and unheard of in Chile. And this is not mentioned in any of the booking information. Very dishonest. Then everything and I mean everything has an additional charge, want to sit by the fire outside well that has an additional charge for firewood, want to use the small inflatable hot tub well that will cost you 30usd per couple for an hour and so on and so on. The rooms are very very noisy with terrible sound insulation. There are no locks on the doors of the room either.

Linda was a perfect staff. The place is beatiful and clean.

We had no power for the duration of our stay, meaning no light or wifi and minimal heating. Staff were mostly unhelpful, all the reviews said it was so close to the ski lift but it was actually around a 20 minute walk on the road uphill in the cold to the nearest lift. Hostel is small and basic. Not at all worth the money.

Charm and confortable place

Lazy Staff that dont really help you unless you beg for them, we had not hot water for two days, they dont seen to change the sheets and neither give you a towel unless you beg for it

Right near the ski lifts, but a weird place feels like some crazy aunt rented out her house. Well heated for sure. Friendly but about 20% Hitchcock creepy. Overall, I'd say stay here but wouldn't do it alone.

That slight feeling an axe murderer might show up. Othewise pretty good value for money. Not a place to be afraid of but you are never quite sure whether you trust this place. I thought the odds were pretty good it was Marley Pot more than Manson so it all worked out fine.

location is NOT 200m from the lift. staff is unprofessional and lazy. dirty place. terrible pillows. horrendous mattress in attic. was charged for wood we used for fire pit! i can keep rambling…

Heater in the rooms.

Hard to find. The hostel has no signs. Making it difficult to find.

the staff is awsome, friendly and very helpful. the view from the deck is superbe. the option to make a camp fire is very cool. kitchen have everything to cook. the place is very clean and confortable. Perfect to go skiing in Valle Nevado, La Parva, El Colorado or Farellones. 10/10
