Reviewed Apr 30, 2026The rooms and service and staff. However a certain incident can be responded better. One of the nights they had to comply with a electricity and water shutdown for 5 hours for government check. It was not immediate response until we asked them to help source for alternative hotel room elsewhere for that night. Alternative stays should be part of the standard contingency response when there are such events need to take place and not have to wait for client to initiate the ask.

As the area I believe is still developing, not much shops nearby, however there are a couple of local eateries opp but it will be great if there is a convenience shop.

When we checked in, one of the rooms was smelling like cigarettes but the issue was handled quickly when we brought it up with the checking in staff.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026캔톤타워가 창밖에 바로 보이기도 하고, 캔톤타워를 이용하기 좋은 위치입니다. 주강 근처에 있어 산책하면서 1km 정도 천천히 걸으면 타워에 금방 도착할 수 있는 거리입니다. 더 가깝고 좋은 곳도 있을 수 있지만 시설도 쾌적하고 조식도 여유롭고 치안도 좋아 추천할 만한 곳입니다. 직원들은 대체로 친절하고 필요한 것을 요청하면 잘 들어주려고 노력하는 편입니다.
지내는 동안 특별한 단점은 없습니다. 대중교통을 거의 이용하지 않아서 대중교통 접근성을 잘 모르겠습니다. 주변에 간단한 슈퍼와 식당은 있지만 바로 근처에 시설이 풍요롭게 있지는 않습니다. 내부 시설이 좋아 큰 문제가 되지는 않습니다.

The breakfast was good, with a wide selection of food and drinks. The location is close to the Canton Tower, the river embankment, and the pedestrian bridge. City center ans Canton Fair also not very far.

The concierge and the staff at the counter handling all parcels. They were not very helpful and not experienced in handling matters. This is a Starck contract to what we experienced in Ascott Shenzhen where we stayed several nights and the staff there were super experienced and helpful. The staff in Ascott Pazhou were lazier at the backends and lack initiatives.

One of the staff Leo was super helpful in helping us with anything we needed and put in the extra effort to help us out with some troubles we had. Reviewed Nov 11, 20251/5. Premium only on the sign. Came for the Canton Fair: price ×3 — $900 for 3 nights instead of the usual ~$300. Breakfasts were awful: tiny selection, no taste. At check-in they demanded a $150 deposit even though there’s no minibar and no in-room services, and room service is prepaid only. They even threatened to deactivate my key after lunch unless I brought another $100—despite my stay being fully prepaid. Checkout was a joke: they delayed the deposit refund to “check the room” while my taxi was already waiting. Bottom line: service is absolute crap, and the staff are complete idiots. Do not recommend, especially during trade fairs.

Me gustó todo, si tengo que decir algo a mejorar, el Spa cierra muy temprano
