Man hörte jeden Schritt der Gäste in der Wohnung darüber, was besonders stört, wenn man im Bett liegt. Das liegt natürlich am alten Haus.... Die Lüftung im Bad ging nicht aus und die Duschbrause war etwas kaputt. Es fehlte ein gemütliches Licht.

Er is een koffieapparaat met cupjes. We waren met 4 gasten, maar er lagen maar 3 cupjes, dat vond ik tegen vallen. Verder nog wat tips: Vanwege de smalle en steile trappen is het appartement niet geschikt voor mensen die slecht ter been zijn. Er zijn twee appartementen, maar op de site zie je foto's van beide appartementen door elkaar, dus dat is een beetje verwarrend.

Schlechte Wartung. Haustür Griffe direkt abgefallen. Handtuchhalter abgerissen. Farben blättert überall ab. Treffenhaus stinkt muffig. Extrem steile Treppe, fast unmöglich mit Gepäck zu gehen. Es sind eigentlich Leitern keine Treppe. Keine Sicherheitsvorkehrungen. Kein Handtuch in gutem Zustand, teilweise schmutzig. Man stellt sich die Frage, ob diese Wohnung überhaupt an Gäste vermietet werden darf! Und man stellt sich die Frage, ob Booking.com das Appartement jemals angeschaut hat.

Wij lagen met ons tegen t plafond en er zaten mensen boven ons die de hele nacht aan het lopen waren met super krakende vloer 2 nachten niet geslapen en ben kapot thuis gekomen. Er worden foto's getoond maar niet beschreven dat het 2 appartementen waren...ja duplo maar geen keuze in 1 of 2. Ben 55 en dan in een hoogslaper moeten liggen

Stairs are VERY steep. Quite a challenge to get suitcases up and down. Selection of teabags was poor (no English Breakfast tea and only 1 earl grey). Room at the top was pretty hot. Quite a lot of noise from outside in the street late at night and early morning. Didn't get the lockbox code straight away because I didn't realise I had to pay the city tax until I got there. The host was helpful on the phone, but the booking.com app was not very helpful (I couldn't find my messages from the host). Ended up having to use WhatsApp to get the door code.

Helaas konden niet allen ramen open en was het 27 graden binnen. Ook is het heel gehorig en kan je snel je onder buren horen. Verder hier en daar kon de hygiëne beter maar het was zeker niet vies!

Reviewed May 30, 2026It is a perfect location: right in the centre of the old town, between the Grote Markt square and the Cathedral of Our Lady. Can't possibly find a better location. The apartment is very big, modern, and clean. Enough space to host several people. Rooms on three levels.
Stairs. First, there's no elevator, so prepare to carry your stuff to the top floor through a narrow staircase. Second, the apartment has three levels, and the connecting stairs are pretty steep. So seniors or people who don't feel comfortable walking on steep stairs may need to find alternative accommodations...

Reviewed May 4, 2026Die Wohnung direkt neben der Kathedrale ist vom preiswerten P+R-Parkplatz mit der Straßenbahn in ein paar Minuten und wenigen Metern zu Fuß gut zu erreichen, ist sauber, der Preis ist angemessen. Alles funktioniert, vom Trubel draußen bekommt man nicht viel mit. Man muss allerdings einen steilen Aufstieg über die Treppen zur und auch in der Wohnung in Kauf nehmen. Aber wir fanden es ganz gemütlich.
Die Küchenausstattung war etwas dürftig, im Bad waren an der Wanne einige Fliesen kaputt. Luxury Suite ist ein bisschen übertrieben.

stairs are VERY steep - we have small luggage and kids with us - even so still a struggle. Beautiful apartment - but in need to some TLC - clear signs this has been very well used. We did have a mouse in the apartment (didnt like)- we informed the host and they arranged for a cleaner to bring a mouse trap. (was appreciated) Coffee pods - more please!

Al ser un edificio antiguo y de madera, absolutamente todo crujía y se escuchaba Si te toca en la planta 1 como a nosotros vas a escuchar todo el día y toda la noche a los huéspedes de arriba andar y pisar muy cerca ya que la cama está en alto y justo tienes el techo delante de tu cara También es un lugar algo frío y ruidoso por las mañanas ya que se encuentra en pleno centro al lado de la Catedral

It was dirty. Several plates were dirty, like someone just eat from them. A lot of dust and spider webs on the walls, corners. Shower is a nightmare. A lot of fungus, the drain barely absorbs water. While you’re taking a shower - water can get to your ankle level. Had an accident with the door lock, it got jammed for no reason, we’ve reached the owner but owner was more interested if we payed the city tax instead of providing actual help 🤷🏻

Het was echt ongelofelijk krakerig en gehorig. Ook was er heel erg veel stof in het appartement en oogte het nou niet echt hygiënisch overal. In de douche cabine was er ook schimmel dus ik heb niet kunnen douchen. De trap naar het bed is heel onhandig en gevaarlijk en je ligt echt 30cm van het plafond af. Ik zag zelfs ook een klein vies beestje op de muur bij het bed en allemaal stof rondom de planken van het matras. Hierdoor heb ik op de bank geslapen. Er waren ook alleen maar velle spotjes en geen sfeerlampjes. Dus als je even in de avond tv wilde kijken zat je of helemaal in het donker of met oogverblindende lampen. Dan ook nog is geen warmte in je appartement want de verwarming deed het niet! Ik heb van alles geprobeerd en de temperatuur verhoogd maar het bleef de hele nacht koud. Het was in de ochtend 17 graden. Wat was ik blij toen ik weg was. Echt vreselijk appartement en totaal geen aanrader.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026La situation est exceptionnelle. Le logement est spacieux et relativement bien équipé. Il est dans un vieux bâtiment très pittoresque tout en offrant des équipements modernes.
L'accès par des escaliers en colimaçon n'est pas très pratique, surtout avec des bagages. Nous ne pouvons pas en vouloir au propriétaire car il s'agit d'un vieux (et magnifique !) bâtiment. Nous le déconseillons tout de même à des personnes avec des soucis de mobilité ou à des familles avec de jeunes enfants car on retrouve des escaliers très raides à l'intérieur afin de rejoindre le premier puis le second niveau. Nous avons également eu un bruit périodique (une quinzaine de secondes toutes les 10 à 15 minutes). Difficile d'en déterminer la provenance mais je dirais qu'il vient de l'extérieur, côté cuisine/salle de bain.

Reviewed Mar 1, 2026Ubicacion excelente, situado en una calle entre la Catedral y Grotten Markt ..se encuentro en medio del centro histórico, donde a parte de estar cerca de atracciines turísticas, tambien hay mucho ambiente y restaurantes.
Al tratarse de una finca antigua, el acceso al apartamento es por una escalera complicada, muy estrecha y muy vertical. Lo mismo ocurre con la cama, esta en un altillo dentro del apartamento con una escalera dificil. NO ACONSEJABLE PARA PERSONAS ADULTAS de cierta edad o CON DIFICULTAD DE MOBILIDAD En el anuncio del apartamento DEBERIAN AVISAR del acceso de las escaleras y de que la CAMA ESTA UBICADA EN ALTILLO,y ocupa toda la superficie sin tener espacio lateral. En el apartamento no hay armario ni espejo de cuerpo entero. Estaría bien si lo incluyeran, porque por lo demas esta muy conpleto( cocina, mesa y sillas, TV , wiffi, sofá, baño)

Reviewed Feb 8, 2026De ligging is fantastisch. Midden in het uitgaansleven, kroegjes, eetgelegenheden, winkels enz. Dat heeft dan weer het nadeel dat je van alles en nog wat hoort in het appartement. Maar met een paar oordoppen kom je een heel eind! De bedden zijn heerlijk, echt super geslapen. En het was er heel schoon. We waren blij verrast.
Het appartement kan hier en daar wel een likje verf gebruiken 😁 En de rand/afstapje naar de deur, daar moet je voor uit kijken. De inboedel kan ook wel een kleine upgrade gebruiken (misschien wat wijnglazen en poedermelk voor in de koffie?) Maar verder echt helemaal super.

The downstairs door was really tricky to get through. I do feel the advert should also state how steep and tight the stairs are!! I'm not elderly and I struggled. I had to leave my large suitcase near the utility cupboard and just take up what I needed.

Reviewed Jan 8, 2026Vriendelijk personeel. Gehuurde appartement was niet beschikbaar in verband met kapot slot. Hier kwam het personeel zelf mee en kwam snel met een goede oplossing. Locatie was perfect, midden in de stad. Luxe appartement voor weinig geld.
Helaas geen parkeergelegenheid. Genoeg parkeergarages in de buurt, beetje googlen en dan heb je een gratis parkeerplaats makkelijk met het ov bereikbaar.
