Reviewed Jun 6, 2026The bathroom is very spacious, and the water heater works excellently.
The homestay staff were not very friendly. The location is quite remote and requires walking along uphill and downhill roads. It is more suitable for travelers with their own transportation and may not be very convenient for independent travelers relying on public transport or walking. We would like to respectfully provide some clarification and explain the situation as we experienced it during our stay. Firstly, we arrived at the homestay at approximately 10:00 a.m., not 8:00 a.m. as mentioned by the front desk. Upon our arrival, there was no staff present at the reception area. It was the taxi driver who kindly assisted us by making a phone call, after which the lady at the front desk came to attend to us. We would also like to clarify that our intention was not to make any special requests. As the official check-in time had not yet arrived, we simply wished to leave our luggage at the reception area. From our experience, allowing guests to temporarily store their luggage before check-in is a common practice and standard hospitality courtesy at hotels and homestays. After leaving our luggage, we sat briefly on the sofa in front of the reception area as we wanted to apply some mosquito repellent before heading out. At that point, the front desk lady informed us that the area was an office and that we were not allowed to remain there; after leaving our luggage, we would need to wait outside. That said, we would also like to acknowledge a positive aspect of our experience. Although check-in was only available after 3:00 p.m., she immediately entrusted us with the room key. We appreciated the trust she showed us and would like to give credit for that gesture. Regarding the matter of renting a YouBike, we would also like to clarify that it was the taxi driver who voluntarily provided us with information about the bicycle rental service. This information did not come from the front desk lady.

Reviewed Apr 21, 2026民宿的地理位置不錯，騎車約5分鐘就有個小夜市，吃了兩天的客家菜，正想換換口味，夜市雖小但品項不少，民宿老闆和管家都很熱心，出遊時還指引我比較快的路線，房間也很乾凈，下次再到三義還會住這裡的
