Lovely comfortable unit with enough space for two. Well situated just back from the beach so we could hear the surf at night.

Lovely beach unit. Could walk across the road and along the beach. Did this in the arvo, and again at sunset. Enjoyed lunch at the nearby cafe. Well presented accom.

One of the pictures shows a view from the 2nd or 3rd floor. (But, you don’t have access to that view). You are on the ground floor only.

Right on the beach and close to walking track. Carters beach has an awesome laid back feel to it and the accomodation suited this so well. The Bach was very comfortable for a family of 4 with the two seperate living areas meaning mum and dad could watch a movie when the kids went to bed.

Grosszügige Räumlichkeiten, ausser Küche. Neues Bad. Strandnähe Gastgeber sehr freundlich. Wurden gut vorraus informiert, auch über Restaurant in der Nähe. Strandtuch war inbegriffen

Wir waren 4 Nächte dort. Hätten uns eine Reserve an Küchenwäsche gewünscht.

Es ist ein großzügig geschnittenes Studio, das allen Komfort bietet, den man braucht. Das Bett war endlich mal wieder größer als die in Neuseeland üblichen Queensize Betten (wenn auch etwas weich). Das Bad ist schön hell und modern. Ein paar Schritte entfernt liegt das Meer und ein nettes Restaurant.

- Aucun contact direct avec les hôtes, tout se fait par mail, la maison est gérée par une agence immobilière, probablement à des km - La salle de bains n'était pas clean, j'ai trouvé des cheveux dans la douche (et pourtant je suis chauve !) - La cuisine est mal équipée, du coup impossible de se faire à manger correctement - Le matelas est super mou, mon dos s'en souvient encore - Soi-disant une vue mer : j'étais en RDC donc c'était plutôt une vue "route"

The beds were comfortable and a portable heater was a welcome addition on a cold wet night! The soft towels in the bathroom were lovely!

The WiFi & TV were very unreliable. The shower floor was very slippery but apart from that everything was fine!

It was clean. Spacious.someone left heater on for us thankfully but it wasn’t enough.

We arrived on a wet and cold spring day. The heater was insufficient. The cleaner had cleaned the bathroom but there were two big puddles still there, overnight.They didn’t dry out and the towels were worn and not nice. For the price we paid there should have been decent towels, extra blanket at least

Comfortable and a fantastic location. The accomodation has almost everything you need for a great stay. The owners even though not home made sure that the heating was turned for our arrival. Thanks!

The front entry door was a bit of a bother to go in and out. Personally for me the bed was very soft but my wife loved it.

Fantastic, funky little apartment, great for the two of us. Being previous accommodation owners, the hosts for this property have thought about everything down to the smallest detail. Thank you for a most enjoyable stay!!

The amazing house is next to the New Zealand’s most beautiful beach! It’s the best option to enjoy the sunset there. The view was amazing, we loved the room, and the hosts were very friendly. We had everything we needed! Definitely recommend!

Very comfortable, spacious and clean. Well equipped with kitchenette, lovely bath, comfortable beds and sun room. Lovely touches such as a foot bath and towels on the patio to clean our feet after a dip in the ocean…which was a very short walk and absolutely beautiful. Gorgeous sunset!

The Bach was clean and comfortable with a spacious modern bathroom. The facilities were perfect for our quick one night stay. It is very close to the beach and also to the local ( only) bar and cafe Donaldos. For a Monday night Donaldos was very busy - it pays to book.

Not really a criticism but would be really helpful if there were laundry facilities especially for travellers who are away for prolonged periods of time

We have stayed at many properties over the years (sometimes just me and the wife, other times with our 2 kids as well), but this is one of the best! First impression was positive and it got better. It’s roomy, great beachy vibe, TV worked well, beds were excellent and the shower pressure amazing. It’s across the road from a field for kids to run around, and that field adjoins the beach. It’s a spectacular spot and we would love to come back!

The host was very accommodating with our last minute request to adjust our check out. And was very friendly in person the flowing morning 🌅

Perfect little beach batch. Sadly Mum and I were run down from a few bad nights of sleep and a couple big travel days, so we didn’t explore the area as much as we’d have liked. But the suite was a lovely little respite for some rest and recovery.

The place was very private, even though out the side of the building can see the beach from the front door. Very relaxing and handy to the restaurant.

Location was gorgeous and hosts were so friendly and lovely. Super easy to get the keys and get inside and the decor was super fun inside. Disappointed that I didn't get to see the cute dog George!

EVERYTHING!!! A fantastic place to stay. An ocean view too. Wish we had stayed longer.

Friendly and helpful hosts, very clean apartment, great location in quiet seaside hamlet, well-equipped, comfortable beds.

No screens on windows meant we could not sleep (as we prefer) with windows open.

Lovely friendly hosts. As lone traveler nice to chat at times. Place spotless so handy to beach. Wild spot but lovely. Comfortable bed all you could want.

Our hosts, Peter and his wife, were very welcoming and friendly. The apartment was very spacious, light and airy and so very well appointed. These hosts know what they’re doing - beautiful bed, every style of glass for whatever drink you enjoy, superior linen, spacious bathroom, room to relax. A very very very pleasant stay.

Very cool little beach with everything you could ask for. Very tastefully decorated and cosy warm. Lovely hosts who are very obliging and ready to cater to their guests needs.

Loved to hear and see the sea

This was a beautifully decorated, very comfortable studio apartment in a great location across from the beach.

The weather could have been better - but that has nothing to do with the quality of the accommodation.

Comfy bed, good space. Close to a good club, with great food! Easy parking and walking.

Excellent location. You can watch the sun set and take a walk on the beautiful white beach, just across the road.

The property was clean and tidy

The property is grossly misrepresented. It is not a “seaside apartment”. It is a lean-to garage on a pole house batch, which has been converted into accomodation. All materials like doors and windows have come from demolition merchants, No double glazing, and could not keep warm in living area. Bedroom could be heated, but had no external windows. Electrical wiring was not professionally installed-wires around floors, to plug boxes, and switches in rooms which switches did not match the lights. Was said to be the last available unit. I’m fact it was the only (and worst) unit in use. None of the “work” to convert this lean-to garage into accomodation has been done by tradesmen, and I imagine it is not permitted by the local authorities, or should not be. To be fair, it was clean and neat, but it was really a shanty, with poor facilities, an uncomfortable couch, and very misleading advertising. Also struggled to get key from a lockbox, and no indication was given that the unit was not hasted till 24 hours before arrival.

Beautifully presented. Was warm and toasty when we arrived. lovely walk to the beach in the morning.

Jill was there to greet us when we arrived and showed us the room. Everything was exactly as we expected and more! The apartment was beautifully done up, very clean and had everything we need. Had a lovely walk along the beach 5 mins away to enjoy the beautiful sunset. Really can't be missed...
