If people upstairs are walking around, you can hear it, but it wasn’t a huge bother for us.

Reviewed Jun 26, 2026Het appartement was bij binnenkomst netjes opgeruimd en schoongemaakt. De kamers zijn weliswaar sober aangekleed, maar alles functioneert goed. De douche is geweldig! Er is een keukentje met alle benodigdheden om te koken en bakken. Prima voor elkaar.
Er waren aardig wat vliegen in het huis. Misschien door een boerderij in de buurt? De eigenaar heeft keurig de ramen voorzien van horrengaas en stelt insectenspray beschikbaar. Het is een kwestie van niet te lang de voordeur open laten, dat is blijkbaar ook de toegangspoort voor de vliegen.

L’intérieur des tiroirs de salle de bains sont très abîmés.

Reviewed Jan 19, 2026Private parking on the premises, big flat with fully equipped kitchen, big living room with dining table, mountain views, close to mountains for hiking, and very sweet welcome gifts.
Nothing really - only little bonus would be if the garden of the house was beautifully designed with a swing and some flowers. That would be the cherry on top!

The bedroom and the bed itself are pretty small.

Reviewed Aug 24, 2025We lived here for 3 days and its right on the main road, but the entire place is so calm you wont feel any kind of disturbance at all. It has the basic necessities. The entire Kandersteg has lot of flies, so this place attracts some too. But we werent spending much time at the property to really complain about it. Very convenient to checkin and checkout. Good communication with the host.
All good, just the fly condition which can be managed by a fly catcher/ electric fence.

Reviewed May 4, 2025Very nice apartment, it was clean en well equipped. The parking spot is really convenient. The location is super unique surrounded by mountains and the waterfall. The centre of the town is 25 minute walk and 5 minute with car.

When we arrived there were dozens of flies in the apartment and the place hadn’t been properly cleaned. Also, the photos don’t show it but there’s not much privacy here. The door opens directly to the kitchen and since you’re on the ground level there are sometimes people walking by to the other units who can see straight into the place via the large living room window or into the kitchen/bathroom if you have the front door open.
