Kandy Anu Homestay

Owners are lovely, they took care of me and my sister as we end up staying in Kandy after my sister's accident. The wife even came to visit at the hospital the day before our discharge, so sweet 🧡 She made lunch and dinner out of kindness, we LOVED the taste of the food. We couldn't take the kitchen class for obvious reason, but if you get the chance, take it: she's an excellent cooker!

Had a wonderful experience at the place. The environment is beautiful and eye-catching, with a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. felt safe and comfortable throughout the stay. The staff was friendly and helpful.

A nagyon zajos Fő úttól egy kis meredek úton és lépcsőkön kellett felmenni a szálláshoz, ezáltal a kilátás a hegyre nagyon szép és csendes a ház. Szép új, nagyon tiszta, a legszebb Sri Lankai szállásunk. Használhattuk a szobán kívül a nappalit, a konyhát és az emeleti teraszt. Nagyon hangulatos és nyugodt hely. Anu, a házigazda nagyon kedves, készséges, mosolygós, segít mindenben. Kár, hogy csak egy éjszakát maradtunk.

Доброжелательные хозяева, обменялись телефонами, познакомили нас с русскоговорящим гидом. Дали несколько советов. Все прошло хорошо. Очень хороший, чистый номер с балконом, возможностью пользоваться гостевой кухней, была даже сушка для белья и утюг.

The owner is very nice and extremely helpful! She was very attentive and helped us out with a lot of things just as train tickets, forgotten phone on a taxi (yes we got it back!) and so on! She was very kind! They made our stay great. Hotel room was great too. We slept very well and it was clean and the view from the balcony outside was very nice.

Anu war super herzlich und wir bekamen bei unserer Anreise direkt eine Tasse leckeren Tee serviert. Das Zimmer hatte eine wunderschöne Aussicht und das Bett bequem. Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Der Weg in die Stadt selber war der verkehrsreichen Strasse entlang etwas lange, aber man konnte auch gut zu Fuss ins Zentrum.

Anu’s Homestay is a lovely place to relax in the hectic city of Kandy. It was clean, with a warm, homey atmosphere, and we were greeted very kindly. Anu supported us with good tips, and we were even allowed to use her kitchen. We had a great stay!

Friends, if you want to stay in the picturesque town of Kandy, then be sure to stay in this house.!!! This is a real Home away from Home. A wonderful hostess, Anu and her husband will be hospitable hosts for you.!

No reason to find fault, everything is at the highest level.

the stay was very nice, the people were caring about me a lot. we were cooking together in the eveing traditional food. I can highly recommend this place :)

I had a wonderful stay at this lovely guesthouse! The rooms, located on the second floor of the host's home, are very charming and cozy, with everything needed for a comfortable stay. There's also a shared space where you can make yourself a cup of tea or coffee, relax, and watch TV. One of the highlights is the beautiful balcony — a peaceful spot to enjoy the quiet, homely side of Kant, with a view that feels serene and intimate. My stay lasted just one night, but it left a very warm and positive impression. The host was incredibly kind and welcoming, and her whole family showed great hospitality. They even helped me carry my suitcase and allowed me to leave it at the property for a little while after check-out. Overall, a truly pleasant and heartwarming experience!

The room is very clean with comfortable bed, linens and wonderful towels. The owner (Ms. Anu) provided everything we needed (hot water maker, electrical extra outlets and hangers) when we checked-in. The view of hills is so beautiful and we enjoyed staying at Anu Homestay to relax. Standard double Room is a compact size but cleanness of room let us feel great. The sound of air conditioner is calm and Wifi is powerful to connect.

At first, 2 dogs barked at us to be surprised but they got to used to us gradually. The map of Booking.com is not correct and the road is a little difficult to find to turn from Kandy road. A small sign is on the wall so don't miss it to turn a small path to arrive at Anu Homestay. The sound of hot shower is a little noisy but it's bearable.

Believe me one of the finest Stay. Mrs. Anu and her husband are so helpful and great.

Anu (the host) was fabulous and her family delightful. They all made us very welcome and were able to organise tuk tuks and a taxi for us. The balcony is lovely and the tea tray in the evening was a lovely touch.

It is slightly out of town although this wasn’t a problem as the hosts were on hand to help with transport.

Very clean and comfortable rooms. Very sweet host family. Beautiful views over Kandy and mountains.

The bathroom could improve a little.

The family is really kind they were all so helpful throughout our stay.The place is spotlessly clean and has everything you need. We ordered Sri Lankan breakfast which was the best food we have eaten here. The room has a wonderful view on the green mountains which you can admire from the terrace. Everything in the property is new and very comfortable. We will definitely come back if we are here for the next time.

Anu and her family are amazing hosts. The room was excellent, with an amazing view. The homestay is also very well located, with restaurants and a supermarket within walking distance. I recommend this place 100%.
