Zeer ruime en verzorgde woning. Vooral het benedendeel is schitterend. De host heeft ons supervriendelijk ontvangen en is ook zeer sociaal. Knap aanbod in de tuin (waarvan we helaas door het barslechte weer niet konden genieten).

Absolutely Amazing Holiday — Memories We’ll Treasure ❤️ Wow, what an amazing holiday! De Specht was truly a memory-making experience, and it is unlike any holiday we have ever experienced before. Our children absolutely loved the natural wildlife, the animals, the boats and, of course, spending time around the lake. The facilities are fabulous and incredibly family-friendly. It was so lovely to watch the children playing, exploring and enjoying the natural environment rather than being stuck indoors. There was always something for them to see and do around the garden. The absolute highlight for my youngest daughter was getting to spend time helping with the ponies. She absolutely loved it and it was something she will remember for a very long time. 🐴❤️ And we absolutely have to mention Figiro the cat! 🐱 My youngest daughter completely fell in love with him. He became a daily visitor during our stay, and she looked forward to seeing him every single day. I was genuinely starting to worry that I might have to explain to Figiro that he was coming home with us! 😂 He was such a lovely part of our experience and definitely added to the magic of De Specht. Then there were the escape-artist chickens! 🐓😂 They were absolutely hilarious to watch, although I have to admit the first time they escaped I completely panicked! They certainly kept us entertained and became another funny little part of our stay. The house itself and the location are simply amazing. The house is huge, with everything you could possibly want. There is so much space and it is obvious that a lot of thought has gone into making guests feel comfortable. There are plenty of glasses and cutlery, lots of dining space and some lovely social areas both inside and outside, making it perfect for families. Everything was spotlessly clean, the showers were lovely and having a washing machine and airers was an absolute bonus for mums!

Rustige omgeving, de tuin met hottub is absoluut een hoogtepunt. Heel mooie leefruimte en voorzien van alle gemakken voor kindjes alsook kinderspeelgoed (keukentje) wat het een ideaal verblijf maakt voor gezinnen met jonge kindjes.

Zeer ruime woning, veel spelmateriaal voor de kindjes, fijn terras en tuin.

We had a really lovely stay here. The accommodation was peaceful and relaxing, and we loved sitting outside listening to the wildlife, especially the frogs in the pond at night. The rowing boat was a great little bonus too. The hot tub was brilliant, my wife loved firing this up with the wood. The place had everything we needed and the table football was a nice touch as well. The location was perfect for visiting Dunkirk, Ypres, Plopsaland and some of the nearby historical sites. Sam was very friendly and helpful too. Overall just an amazing stay and we want to come back and stay for longer!

Wspaniały duży dom z wygodnymi łóżkami i bardzo dobrze wyposażoną kuchnią! Cisza, spokój, idealne miejsce na relaks! Dużym atutem jest jazzuzi z którego mogliśmy korzystać ile chcemy! Bardzo miły właściciel!

De Specht is een ruime woning, met 3 mooie, ruime kamers boven. De benedenverdieping is praktisch ingericht. De keuken is top, en meer dan voldoende bestek en borden aanwezig. De badkamers zijn ruim en proper, alles is modern en toch warm. Heel leuk dat er twee terrassen zijn met zicht op de vijver en de velden. In de (afgesloten) tuin lopen diertjes rond en voor kinderen is het leuk spelen. De houtgestookte hottub is zeker en vast een meerwaarde!

Het comfort en de ligging. Goed uitgeruste keuken. Veel mogelijkheden in de buurt. Hartelijke ontvangst

Geen tegenvallers

De tuin met veel speelmogelijkheden voor de kinderen waar ze naar hartenlust konden ravotten was het PLUSPUNT van de woning. Ook de hottub was een leuke aanvulling bij het huis. En zeker ook de ruime woonruimte en heel goed uitgeruste keuken. AANRADER!!

The house is incredible and Sam and his son were so welcoming. The hot tub was eco friendly, which my sons loved making the fire. Beds were super comfy and there was everything you required. Although you do need to remember to bring your own towels.

We had extreme wind, so the WiFi was intermittent, which made working quite hard.

Brilliant location. Quiet. Well appointed with beautifully decorated interior. Felt like home!!! Our hosts were super sweet, responsive to messages and very accommodating.
