We checked in early which was great with ease. Parking was free on a street very near by. The owner is lovely and shows you through but keeps your privacy totally. The room is large, bright & airy. It has a beautiful view of the canal and you are surprised with eggs, bacon, ham, salami, cheeses, many types of bread, juice, many different fruits, coffee & many types of tea. I can't say enough, we have travelled through alot of the Netherlands & this place is super. I highly recommend.

Het betreft een bovenverdieping, het was erg warm en miste een dakterras of iets dergelijks . Het ontbijt moet jezelf klaarmaken ( geen ramp op zich)

Tres bon accueil. Chambre spacieuse et petit déjeuner très copieux. Nous recommandons sans hésiter. Merci.

De ruimte en de faciliteiten

De ruime opzet van de B&B enhet was netjes en schoon en de loop afstand naar het centrum.

Geen parkeer plek voor de deur.

Ruim schoon netjes.

Het parkeren was een dingetje. Je moet ergens anders (NS station) parkeren, met bagage een beetje gedoe.

Hele leuke b&b, eigenlijk een klein appartement. Dichtbij het centrum van Enkhuizen maar in een heel rustig straatje. Ontbijten doe je met uitzicht op de gracht. De broodjes moet je wel zelf afbakken, maar dat vonden wij geen probleem.

Eigenlijk niets. Er zit alleen een fout in de siffon van de douche waardoor je het riool ruikt, maar tijdens het douchen is dat weer weg.

Prima onderkomen

Alleen jammer dat je niet direct bij de b en b kunt parkeren. Het is te overzien maar met je bagage is het handig om dat wat dichterbij te kunnen afgeven maar het mag de pret niet drukken

This apartment is really wonderful. It is spacious and contains all of the necessities and even more that one would need. I feel very fortunate to find this place in a beautiful small town in the Netherlands. The host was especially friendly and powerful. I appreciated the choices of good stocked in the apartment for my breakfasts—for me even better than elaborate hotel breakfast buffets. Location along a quiet canal was perfect. Don’t hesitate to choose this spot for your stay.

De locatie was perfect, heerlijk rustig.

Sorry hoor maar een B&B waar ze afbakbroodjes serveren is echt teleurstellend. De warme bakker ligt op twee minuten lopen.

Sehr gutes Frühstück, welches jeden Tag liebevoll vorbereitet wurde. Die Lage ist super, man kann fußläufig gut den Ort erkunden.

Es un lugar realmente acogedor, limpio y muy bien ubicado. Ellen es una hermosa persona, había un desayuno muy completo, café, jugo de naranja, diferentes panes, diferentes carnes frías , queso, fruta. El lugar está divino (hay que subir unas pocas escaleras) Las camas son individuales que pueden juntarse

Todo me encantó (el precio un poco elevado) pero en verdad el lugar es un encanto

Gezellig en ruim!

Es waren wundervolle Tage in einem äußerst gastfreundlichen Haus! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und kommen wieder!!!

Kleiner Minuspunkt: Parken vorm Haus ist nicht möglich. Öffentlicher Parkplatz ca.15 Gehminuten entfernt.

Het appartement is ruim, maar in een U-vorm. Waardoor het toch knus is. Het ontbijt is uitstekend. Mooi in de historische binnenstad. Maar wel buiten het toeristische centrum; dus rustig. Met uitzicht op een mooie gracht. En wanneer slaap je nu in een stadsboerderij: deze nachten dus.

Enkhuisen was by far, our favourite place in the Netherlands. Beautiful, peaceful, uncrowded and authentic. Everything is within walking distance. We took the steamtram and boat for a leisurely, fun and historic journey to the town - (Keep your luggage to a minimum if bringing eg store big bags at Amsterdam Centraal, Sloterdijk storage is unreliable) Families with young kids thoroughly enjoyed the fun activities along the way as did we (an older couple). In addition to wonderful walks, Enkhuisen the town has the best museum (Zuiderzee) - a living, breathing historic collection of homes and businesses dating back around a hundred years ago showing what life was like back then for the fishing community before the dike wall changed their way of life completely. A fascinating, absorbing trip through time. So much to see and do. Now, the accommodation: Absolutely wonderful, our hosts Ellen and Dirk, could not have been more helpful and kind. They did everything possible to make us feel welcome and comfortable. And the accommodation itself was an utter delight - spacious, comfortable bed, great shower, gorgeous view out over the canal and awesome breakfast choices. We would encourage everyone to come here to experience the best of the Netherlands. We would love to come again.

Exceptional property, quiet location and extremely beautiful.

Dirk and Ellen went out of their way to help us get warm after a chilled 60 km bicycle ride. We never met Ellen, but Dirk was pleasant and communicative. His apartment was good-sized and had everything we needed to have a pleasant evening. We were given more than enough food for breakfast, and still enough to make sandwiches for lunch. The apartment was quiet, comfortable, and within a five-minute walk to town and the grocery store. We had a nice stay in the pretty town of Enkhuizen and look forward to coming back.

The B&B was amazing, we stayed for one night before embarking on a sailboat in the harbour. The breakfast had fresh breads we could bake in the oven, slices of bread, meats, cheese, eggs, yoghurt, fruit, crackers - we were spoiled for choice! The beds were comfortable and the shower was great too. They even gave us a lift in their car to the harbour, we we had to bring quite a lot of stuff and it saved us a tiring walk. We only stayed here for a night, but would have enjoyed spending more time!

Exceptionally kind and welcoming hosts. Property beautiful and so clean.

What a lovely and comfortable place. The apartment is bigger than expected, well equipped, nicely decorated and fine for a longer stay. Ellen and Dirk are great hosts who also provided us with a nice breakfast. We almost felt like home and were sorry to leave. The B&B is quietly situated at a canal, though not far from the old downtown. We can only recommend this place. Thank you!
